It is true that your stats are not stellar to say the least. Yet in CVs you deal more than double the damage you deal in cruisers and DDs. with a significantly higher WR.

If you eat 4-5 torps at once, you misplayed. Try torping a well played ship, it's not easy. They are also high risk ships that risk early death. Cvs on the other hand need no stealth. Midway just comes in and shits on your ship. Bam, 30% damage of your cruiser gone in one strike. It's not rasy to evade a well played CV. Again, I'm talking average damage. If DDs deleted BBs left and right without risk, their average damage would show that. It makes no sense that CVs have much higher average damage. Also, Kitakaze and Haguromo(?) are overpowered as well and in need of significant nerfs after CVs are fixed.

How I work that out: Why is average DD damage lower? Because they can spot, for example. They enable other ships to deal damage as well. Why would one have a class that outspots DDs, yet deals damage on par with BBs? It makes no sense. This is a game, not reality.

Rockets were OP and got the nerf they deserved. And divebombers are still op and deserve a nerf as well. CVs shouldn't do much more damage than DD, let alone cruisers.

Nothing else to be expected from a balance team that thought releasing the unnerfed GC was a good idea.

Oh my, I can already see the CV potatoes rotating, because you want to see their absolutely unplayable and underpowered class nerfed.

And I gave Hindenburg another try, but I keep losing. After 237 battles. Just in case anyone thinks this will even itself out. It won`t. I have another account where the Hindenburg has a WR of 57%. Same damage, same kills. Screw you, WG. It`s so obvious that you put people with high WR in trash teams all the time, since you can`t uptier T10s. Pathetic. You are even worse than EA.

Hi WG, ever since I reached 60% win, I get uptiered in 9 out of 10 matches, no matter which tier I play. Even T7 matches are almost always at least T8. Worse than it has ever been. And before any clown comes in and tries to tell me how great being uptiered is:

1) I`m not claming that WG is out to get me. I am claiming that the MM is crap and there most certainly is some kind of algorithm that makes it harder to maintain high win rates. I don`t even want a higher WR. What I want is to be top/mid/bottom tier in a normal fashion, making the game enjoyable. 2) I don`t call everyone a clown, just the people who go out of their way to tell people who rightfully think that permanent uptier is bad game design are wrong and just need to "git gud". 3) Yes, my team potatoed. How much are the chances for a bottom or mid tier to carry such teams alone? There are ships that can carry then, like my T-61. But not many. 4) Funnily enough, my T9 WR is above 60%. That certainly is just due to being top tier all the time. Oh wait! It`s just that I have only one T10 ship. Everyone has ships with lower WR. My posting was not about my WR going down or anthing.That`s not the case. It`s about the enjoyment of being uptiered constantly.

Dass viele CV-Spieler das monieren, hat wohl andere Gründe: sie sind grottenschlecht und merken gar nicht, wie verkackt op die Klasse ab T8 ist.

If you do anywhere near 30k damage per battle in a Midway, you might have a different problem. ;(

Ist eigentlich fast egal, welche Schiffe genau du spielst. Fang im low tier an und kontrolliere deine Performance auf wows-numbers.com. Nebenbei auf Youtube oder Twitch Spieler wie Flamu, Flambass oder TheSailingRobin angucken. Dort bekommst du auch mit, welche Munition du wann abfeuern solltest.

Heute nur 42% Win. Niederlagenserie in Kreuzern geht weiter. Aber wie soll man in einer Helena auch carrien, wenn die Teammitglieder lieber Klebstoff schnüffeln als zu spielen. Nur DDs sind verlässlich - wenn ich sie selbst spiele. Nennt mich einen Aluhut: Seit ich 60% Win habe, will WG mich fisten.

Ging um Mission 1.

Besser als vier Spiele mit Helena ohne CV. Danach mit T6/7 DDs gespielt und jedes Spiel ein CV. Danke für euer dummes Missionsdesign, WG!

In all honesty, the op is not just flooded by potatoes. The instruction is not to let enemy ships enter the base. These people hide inside the base and perhaps hope that the rushing DDs will magically disappear. I asked my gf - who doesn`t play or know this game - where she would position to defend such a base. And she said at the border or even slightly outside. No idea about the game, but grasped this operation within seconds. Typical answer when I ask these people whether they expect to finish this op with 5 stars by sailing in circles within the base, they reply with "I defended the base longer than you!" No crap, I died trying to prevent them from entering. It`s not about mechanics. These people are just dumb. Sad to say, but that`s the bottom line. In randoms you can carry them sometimes, but this op is just lost if you have teammates with such 200 IQ gameplay and want 5 stars.

T8+ only pick Premium Repair Party and Damage Control. Everything else is extra you need to perform well enough to pay for.

What is this? Oh, just the daily "buff CVs" thread. It is sad and boring at the same time. You should spend your time learning how to play instead of complaining. Yesterday I had a game in the Roon where I didn`t set single fire with 150 shells. crap happens.

Das könnte daran liegen, dass der Spieler eine WTR von 560 in CVs (insgesamt 484) und ich in DDs ca 2180 WTR habe. Ist aber nur eine Vermutung.

Noch Fragen? Mehr als 1k xp über mir. Ich hatte 44k Schaden, das ist nicht so viel. Die gegnerische Lexington hatte mehr xp als ich. Und natürlich: wer hat am Ende noch gelebt und das Match entschieden? DD? CA? BB? Oder doch die CV?

Lass gut sein, du bist halt kein guter Spieler. L2p anstatt dir Ausreden auszudenken.

Wie wäre es, wenn du mal KOTS anschaust? Da machen die T10 CVs teils 14k Schaden in einer Angriffsserie. Kann ja nicht jeder so schlecht spielen wie du.

Du findest, dass ein CV Schaden auf Niveau eines BB machen sollte? Trotz all der anderen Fähigkeiten. Q.e.d. Hier habt ihr es. Er schämt sich nicht einmal dafür. PS: auf T8+ machen CVs das übrigens sogar. Weshalb sie OP sind.

CVs auf T8 und 10 machen mehr Schaden als so gut wie alle Kreuzer gleicher Stufe. Hört doch mal bitte auf zu lügen. Die Daten kann jeder auf wows-numbers einsehen.

CVs auf T8 und 10 sind genauso lächerlich OP wie vor dem Rework: Schaden auf BB-Niveau, klären besser auf als DDs undriskieren bei Angriffen nicht einmal das eigene Schiff. Hier wirst du natürlich einen Haufen CV-Apologeten finden, die das abstreiten. Selbst idiotische Vergleiche von Flugzeugen mit Geschütztürmen werden da gebracht. Aber gut, ist sicher die gleiche Sorte Spieler, die auch die Missouri, Belfast oder GC verteidigten. Alle normalen Spieler wissen aber eh, was Sache ist: CVs entscheiden noch immer Spiele wie keine andere Schiffsklasse.
