    PTS 0.8.11 - General Feedback

    1. Why is "Crossing the 'T'" a huge mistake in this game? High risk of heavy damage with your broadside shown to the enemy is the opposite result we got in actual WWII naval battles. Range finding was the least accurate aspect of WWII ship gunnery technology. Historically you are eight times more likely to hit a ship that is sailing directly at or away from the firing ship, than hitting a receiving ship that is broadside. WWII ship radar technology was directed mostly for improving range finding accuracy; with the added benefit of long range night and bad weather detection. Using radar for range accuracy is not used in this simulation because the simulation does not accurately reflect historic range finding inaccuracy of WWII ship gunnery technology. WWII ship armor was designed for maximum broadside protection. There seems to be little broadside protection in the armor in this game. 2. Is there any possibility of adding scenarios with no, or at most one or two, islands? No ship or fleet commander in WWII , or even modern day, would ever sail his or her surface ships anywhere near the current maps; maybe an exception for destroyers only under very special circumstances like historical attacks on Norwegian fjords. Real life fleet commanders would deserve to loose their commission if they ordered their capital ships anywhere near existing WOW maps. Thank you.
