Don't buy the Viribus unitis unless they nerf it to tier 4!
Rhineheart_Thor replied to Altharius's topic in Archive
Viribus Unitis. “With United Forces” Cost : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_Viribus_Unitis Firstly, Viribus is a fine looking ship, beautifully, modelled and rendered, in game, fantastic attention to detail. The guns are not the issue:- The issue is speed, movement, and the AA making it useless for Random. Bottom Line:- Is it worth 18 euros ? If you want to grind XP and coin you will not find a better “ Farmer “ for the “ Geld “ just do the farming in co-op. Yes its worth it for " Farming " as soon as you get a 19pt Captain, then you get the elite Captain Points to farm as well. Average Low impact Bot game in co-op +2 kills 6 minutes + 46k & 1.6k XP Regards o7 -
Torpedoes :- 1. Type F3 for co-op fights 2. Type 93 mod 3 for Random fights 3. Type 93 for team play competitive, ( KOTS and such ), subject to your teams Map Captain / Quarter Backs, say so, and his/her team logistics

BTW I forgot do not bother with the Legendary Module it is trash.

Smolensk... what is it based on?
Rhineheart_Thor replied to Sub_Littoral's topic in General Discussion
Normally I would swap torpedoes for radar 99% of the time, except on My Des Moines, but I run an unusual build on The Des Monies. I think if you open gun boat in Smolensk, you need to consider an exit strategy before you open fire, like any ship you need to know where to hit it and approach it, on the current unfriendly cruiser maps I don't think open gun boating is the most efficient power projection. I see a lot of players flanking in it in open water, if you do that I feel you need to " buddy up " I like the boat, its fun. I dont think its the best boat for random solo. -

Smolensk... what is it based on?
Rhineheart_Thor replied to Sub_Littoral's topic in General Discussion
The point My friend is this:- As a Smolensk Owner I THINK, the following:- Its not fast. A weakness. It can be useful in curtain situations, it is team and situation dependant. It is not over powered. and finally, Des Moines is a far better team orientated cruiser, and made for " Hunting down " naughty slow Russian pyromaniacs. -

If I was a CEO of a buiness, and an accounts report landed on my desk over my Baluga sandwiches and glass of vodka, I wouldnt even read it, I be on the phone tell who ever to bring a white board up and tell them draw it me you have 30 mins. If the artwork cost me X and the server time cost me Y, and the profit is ABC and the profit could be higher DEF! I ant paying the F**ker 200$ an hour to disturb my lunch ! I would trust them ! Then I get back to sorting out what " Lady " I was taking to dinner and where we are going. Simple Probably what happened with that, Research Bureau~~~~ -

Researh bureau first triple reset now regrinded numbers and my experience
Rhineheart_Thor replied to Gnirf's topic in General Discussion
I think it cost,s me money, XP, and time for little reward. If Colbert was for sale I would buy it and save my XP and Time. The only reasons I see for The Research Bureau are negative for the end user player base, I might not " get on with the some of end user player base, But I 100% support and respect ALL they rights as end users. -

Rhineheart_Thor replied to Gnirf's topic in General Discussion
The way I read your number is that it cost you 636,434 XP around 80 euros to get 40,000 RSBP, which is still not enough RSBP to get a ship. I did the British dd line and left it at that ( because of the above ) I want Cobert, i see why they put it in the research bureau and why the RSB came into game, although I tend to think they would of made more money not having a RSB and just selling the ships. Generally, speaking personally I am not happy with " that Research Bureau Idea " -
I have both ships Genova and Exeter, I have not played Genova more than a hand full of games. However I like Exeter better, so far. 50 games

Roger that. I mean I noted your answer, I have not past comment yet on it, I provisionally feel there is an issue, however I do not know what " the issue is " you mentioned warthunder, which I have heard of, but know nothing about the game, who owns it, or the politics in the game. I have never played it. Having said this and I do not know you, If there is proof you are getting negative results due to some thing in that game in World of Warships, TRUST ME I will defend you until my death in real life. However this thread is about removal of Aircraft Carriers and not about another game. o7 PS I apologise for my cryptic " noted " answer -

@Black_Prince42 You said that I did not say that ! Lets try and keep this civil shall we! You brought up a game issue and made a public thread on it I respect your opinion, and the time YOU spent making the thread. It does not matter how many games you play, I was curious how many games you lost in the time period you stated. I did not make comment on you, your game play, or ability, nor your time allotted to play the game. You are a member of the forum and are entitled to have your say, as long as you refrain from breaking any rules of the forum, and it might be better if we ALL are a little more positive, and less rude when communication with fellow forum members, for a number of reasons Sir. -

Rhineheart_Thor replied to Black_Prince42's topic in General Discussion
@xxNihilanxx you make an interesting point Sir or Madam, However removing an established class of ship from the game I feel is a bizarre idea, it would be akin to us playing chess with out Queens. I personal feel in game all class,s of ship add some thing to the game, " WE " as end users, should endeavour to develop our own tactics and strategies, to counter play any type of class or specific type of ship, that we personally find troublesome or give us some sort of reward for farming the said " class / ship ". The only issue I see from CV is not about CV,s but more about " No AA " or sensible defence from CV at certain game Tiers. I am not a good CV player, however I have only ever lost all my aircraft once ( in a TX Saipan game ) out of 405 random games ( including RTS and Rework ) on all the CV I have, which is ALL of the CV in game, including premium CV,s. your comment " game play always trumps realism " I will take under advisement, I need to " ponder that statement, with in the though confines of World or Warships and its game mission statement. Regards -

IMHO:- No they should stay in game, they are an important part of Navy History and changed the way Navel Warfare was conducted. BTW How many games have you lost since August ? -
SHIPS XP MUST BE FREE
Rhineheart_Thor replied to CAPTAIN_GEORGE_AVEROF's topic in General Discussion
Hi All, a musing over morning coffee If we say in game there is a excessive amount of free xp, and it is stagnant, held with in the game economy it would generally indicate that part of the " game economy " is disfunctional, there for, for balancing reasons it should be addressed. Highlighting the issue is the easy part. The solution might not be so clear cut. You could use it for special ships, and you could have some sort of conversion using the players time in game as some sort of multiplayer, ie the long you have played the better the conversion rate is for you. I personally feel the ability to purchase signals ( good ones ) with it is a quick and easy solution, and would benefit the more dedicated player, ie you play ever day it is of interest you, you play once a month I question you would give a sh1t on it. The issue with " special ships " you " could " start a road to elitism, and / or start a some sort of uncontrolled sudden amount of game play from casual players which could destabilise the moral of dedicated ever day end users ( The Games bread and butter ). Very Interesting Topic. Regards B Addendum;- If you did " Special Ships " The Black ships would be zero coding work, and zero work for WG. :- ie you buy black ships with it.
