Horses for courses @DFens_666 The real issue is Random Team Tactics and the lack of. I think players with " poor " game economy dont like losing there equipment, anyways ~~~ Ichase from memory made a vid on it, It might of been Josh I cant remember off hand -

I guess your using some sort of mod pack which is making an issue, From other online forums the solution appears to be removing the mod pack files from the base client. Yes other people have had/ got the same issue, and have resolved it. Try starting the game in " Safe Mode "

Ahoy o7 Now lets get real Smolensk :- The issue why it is NOT OVER POWERED is its PENETRATION of the 130mm rifles, Basically you are only going to be a fire starter on superstructure on most Equipment you fight, THUS when that for said superstructure is on fire and saturated, you need to move to a new target, inherently making your Smolensk tactics nearer, THE NEW TARGETS. As you have no amour a more dangerous tactic, when your smoke runs out, if you are in a bad position. As it moves from a standstill slow, open water gun boating is going to be " Challenging " Bottom Line is:- you can run around like a chicken with no head in it, being a " pyromaniac " for so long, before some Henri type boat send you to little boat heaven. I think any Captain with a modicum of tactical awareness is going to guess, a DD is going to be around the caps or trying to sneak up on the CV via a flank, with out any radar. RF is a better thing to be using if you fancy your self as a BB DD hunter, Having said that a BB actively / chasing / hunting a DD is " Questionable use of Tactical Resources " There are " More efficient " things a BB can be doing IMHO. The best DD Captains, are the ones you never see, until you read the final results. -

Ahoy, I find the above bizarre to be frank, You have a BB that has a max speed of 34.6 knots ( with Sierra Mike ) a rudder shift of 15 sec with mod, turning circle of 920 m and a reload of 30 sec, plus a spotting range full survivability build of 12.7km with Radar range of 9.5km So you need basically a " Big A$$ " BB to get with in 30% of its total spotting range to operate a radar to light up a dd and expose its self to focus fire. How is that over powered, and a dd hunter? Its a Myth to say its over powered. People who have not got the ship ( and some have not even played T9 ) see the word " radar " and " over react ". The reality is Missouri is not easy to get close for radar, in the current meta and have a major impact on a game, It handles like a brick in slip-concrete, and is prone to gliding on a engine stop, for Myself a BB is Team fire support and is best used at ranges it can disengage and make use of them " not bad " 406,s. If it was for sale now I would not buy it. I have my own ideas why Missouri is being " discussed " right now and its down to " ---censored--- " sales techniques. Anyways ~ caveat emptor ~ ~ BE SURE YOUR SINS WILL FIND YOU OUT ~ -

?????? I am not saying that. Get near an island so when your smoke runs out you can get cover, stay 10km away from ships, so you can disengage, pop the smoke, and start " The Music " on any thing up to 16km away. Pull the Lever Get a Banana. You dont need to go to The Britannia Royal Navy Collage to use it. -
You can do it. Once you pick the ship I do not think you can move it to another ship, it becomes permanent for the ship you choose. It doesn't look to bad from the ones I have seen

Make a new mode called "Rivera sailboat mode" you have to go on a sail on special maps and pick up good looking girls / boys and treasure, and mid game you all go for a swim and a nice ice cold Campari on the rocks, with no weapons and you can only use Italian cruiser ships in it, a WOWS Club 18-30 mode. -
If you would of asked me 6 months ago, I would of said " why the hell would any one play " co-op To-day I say " why the hell would any one play " Random"! I have been a " mug " in this game, my game economy, game work load ( personal challenges ) are more more efficiently done in Co-Op. I am of the opinion the current random game, with out team logistics, is a total waist of time, and money ( signals and modules ) combined with the toxic verbal chat, the enjoyment of the mode is " Highly Unproductive ", and NOT Rewarding. I agree in " The Real " uncontrolled world of Wargaming, WOWS is losing its " Popularity " we will never see the accounts / sales department spread sheet, but I am sure WG know it is, hence new acquisitions, exploration of possible game collaborations, by WarGaming. Basically right now Random, is just not worth " The Agro " There are solutions. Regards

You could possible fix this issue with a " more dynamic " aggression manic, relayed to XP, and subject to changes in weapons arrangements, significant re coding work, and possibly not cost effective. T3 T4 AA does need a rethink, which could be done at the same time. -

@Onsterfelijke you would be relying on a type of ship, and not Team Command Logistics, with out the former it still would be a " poor tactical decision " -

I think the Smolensk penetration is a significant issue, I stopped using IFHE on mine, thus hitting multiple targets superstructure and trying to torp flood them. There for this strategy is dependant on having " Multiply Targets " in return this means playing more where the " action is " being a more dangerous tactic, the lack of acceleration I find a bit of an issue with Smolensk. I do not think Smolensk is over powered, I think it has weakness,s that can be, " exploited " , for my self when players get use to dealing with it, the " kerfuffle " will dye down, like it did with battle ship Moskva. -

I think Worcester is a better team play ship, especially with the legendary module, the thing is when do you get to play real " Team Play " For myself Des Moines is a better ship than both of them. -

The Issue is not about how people are playing a type of ship in random, it is about the attitude of the people. You do not meet many " Baby Boomers " in a computer game, most of the players in the EU server dont know what a " short back and sides " is, nor had the pleasure of being " bunged up " for 3 days after eating " compo " is a wet field, they have had little team sports experience and are educated to think they have human rights, I can tell this by the way " they " communicate in this forum. The point is in random, if some one does not take control of the " random team " it generally goes to " rat sh1t " there is no solutions it is the way the game is. and that is why I like ranked over random. 1v1 is going to be " Interesting.
