    Matchmaking

I play all hours of the day - it varies and the experience is not much difference. I don't think class matters - Again I've found the same problem in DD, BB and CA/CL. As the post above says - when you are top tier 8 you generally have 50% or more tier 8. When you are bottom tier 8 you are generally the only one (my experience). The difference between a tier 6-8 match is very different from 8-10. The sheer number of modifications coupled with the best base starting point make the skew far more overreaching than on lower tiers. There's a phrase here that applies to point 4 "Perception is reality". It doesn't matter if it's 95% top tier or the other way around. The way the game feels and the way it plays irrespective of the hard cold stats to four decimal places won't change how people perceive the game. If people believe that the game is too heavily skewed one way then it irrelevant if it's 100% accurate or not - that player is going to walk. But lets take your figure as case point - 55% played bottom tier. That simply doesn't make sense when there should be more tier 8's about. I don't *mind* being in a tier 8-10 match but I'd rather not make it the norm and more evenly spread out and not so loaded to the point it stops being fun.

Doesn't make it right though.... If tier 8 is the most common then why is the matchmaker having such a hard time levelling the games... I don't mind being bottom tier some of the time but when its every signle damn match you get to the stage of thinking "I really can't be arsed with this"... If it were me I would keep a running average per player of when they were top or bottom tier and as soon as it starts heading one way, skew the matching making to being it back into line.

three more games. 1 dd 1 cl and 1 bb. All tier 8 and stuck in a 95% tier 10 game.

Nope. mainly DD. but a bit of cruiser but mx it up with CV and BB Don't get me started on radar seeing through islands. Its a general thing. - I get the maths but that's why I personally don't mind waiting 30, 40 60 seconds more for a reasonable game.

Ok. 15 games *in a session* where my humble tier 8's are out matched every time. I can appreciate matchmaking is hard but do you know what? I really don't mind waiting that little bit extra if it means I get a *good* game. Being somebody else's cannon fodder with upgrades and modifications simply not available just gets really wearing.... Don't get me wrong - I actually really enjoy the game. A good scrap is great. But the difference between tier 10 and tier 8 is a lot without loading it the match full of them and throwing a token tier 8 in. What exactly do you expect to happen? The real serious issue that you need to consider is that I suspect like other player - after a reasonable amount of cash spent, do you know what? I really can't be bothered anymore. Forget the quick matchmaking - spend time actually preparing a decent match up and you'll probably get more money...

New Unsporting conduct system needs to be fixed

I have been playing a while and never been given a penalty ever before. Played the new patch for the first time yesterday and gone pink twice in one day Yes, I hold my hand up - not sure how but one torpedo hit a friendly - it wasn't deliberate and the other player acknowledged it was an accident. The second... no idea. No warning, no consideration in the 30+ games played in one day it happened once. Bang. one strike = penalty. But if the penalties for a genuine mistake are going to be so severe then I guess I don't think I'll be playing.
