I’m glad CCs with free doubloons can show us what these really are. Ichasegaming’s shenanigans is the reason you can no longer have more than 100 containers and why the time container contents is decided was changed. He bought thousands of containers for doubloons and made significant profits. -

How many people at WG speak English as a first language? Quite a few in EU, almost everyone in NA. WG use google translate and don't even ask them to check the translation! -

They used to be good, always giving good value in events. Now they don't worry about value they just put a "95% off" sticker on and expect enough people will fall for it. I've said it 100 times, they are making it very easy to close the wallet on this game. -

Going for an Immelmann in a destroyer with only a few K health will likely not go well. Immelmann bombs are now one of the most effective anti DD weapons a CV has since the rocket nerf. I don't use any secondary skills but if a destroyer is charging me with say 5k health I'll just drop a fighter to spot and let my secondaries hurt them. It's really painful when a CV focuses you as a DD, there is nothing you can do. I've found even in an FDR I can ruin a destroyers day but just hovering over him if I have teammates who might shoot. -

I'm afraid you've got another 5 weeks till end of this 'early access'. Dockyard I think starts next patch. Funny you mentioned the Soviet cruiser early access. For me that was the last time they did 'early access' well. If you purchased the two premium soviet cruisers you could earn enough tokens to get the Petro camo(If i remember correctly). They got you to spend but it felt you got some value back. Now you buy bundles and get pretty much nothing unless you are very lucky.- 18 replies

Carnot losing it's short fuse time. Shame, I did like short fuse shells in the Scharnhorst and viewed the supposed buff to my formally beloved Hood(+0.1 sigma, fuse from 0.01 to 0.033s) as a nerf. Agir also received this fuse time nerf during testing. I would love to know what WG see in testing that they start with short fuse time but are released without. Connecticut getting 50% citadel repair? Strange. Kearsarge getting a better rocket strike than Midway? Rochester now just looks like an Anchorage with better dpm, Des moines AP shells, better concealment (1.5km better smoke firing penalty) but no torps. Looks too strong on that basis but I suppose we will see. -

ST 0.10.7, CHANGES TO TEST SHIPS AND SKILLS. We adjusted the parameters of some ships based on testing results. The changes will be applied to soviet carriers, Connecticut, Incomparable, other ships and some commander skills. X CONNECTICUT: Detectability range by sea reduced from 18 to 16 km. Other detectability ranges were reduced accordingly. Changed the "Repair Party" consumable: Restoration of hit points lost after receiving damage to the citadel increased from 10% to 50%; Reload time reduced from 80 to 40 s. Action time of the "damage Control Party" consumable increased from 20 to 30 s. Casemate armor thickness reduced from 150 to 51 mm. Time to reach maximum power during boost has been increased: When moving forward by 75%. When moving backwards by 100%. The parameters of the AP shells are now similar to those of the Vermont: Maximum shell damage increased from 14,300 to 15,750. Initial shell velocity reduced from 832 to 732 m/s. Changed shell ballistics: now it takes longer for them to reach the target. British battleship Incomparable, Tier X: Torpedo range reduced from 12 to 10 km. Ballistics were changed: now shells will spend more time in the air before hitting their target. X RAGNAR: Detectability range by submarines increased from 4.2 to 4.7 km. Number of "Repair Party", "Surveillance Radar" and "Emergency Engine Power" consumables reduced from 3 to 2. VI SEROV: Torpedo Bomber parameters have been changed: Size of Attacking Flight reduced from 6 to 5. Number of Aircraft on Deck reduced from 15 to 13. Lol. Clearly they are less effective with 8km range than with 11.5. Agir would make more sense for secondaries as it's guns actually have enough pen and accuracy at close range and better turret traverse.- 154 replies

The game crashes while loading into a match. Any subsequent attempts to start game cause a crash at login screen until that initial match is finished.

WG need to try and make sure that ships are fun to play AGAINST. So what ships are fun to play against? Thunderer firing HE...... NO!!! Thunderer firing AP.......YES!!! CVs......No unless in Halland or Austin. Smolensk...NO Minotaur....YES (It can spam from smoke but it eats citadels and can be angled against) Why? Its all about having options to mitigate the damage. If you are a legendary GK with 19km range and Thunderer is HE spamming you from 21km away. There is nothing you can do. Flinging HE or AP at that range does nothing. If instead of a Thunderer , it's a Yamato, you can angle and either charge or disengage. It frustrates me that WG spend so much time trying to make new ships fun without looking at it from other angles.
