ST 0.10.8, changes to test ships

I was looking forward to the Carnot, now a reload AND sigma nerf. I'm not looking forward to it anymore. Gilbralter and Tulsa repair party changes are only bringing the heal in line with other cruisers. I think the only cruisers with 10% citadel heal are P Bagration and Napoli.

    Who is TURRY?

What is your evidence of hours spent on internal testing? Dead eye? CV rework 0.8.0? Petropavolosk at release? Enterprise? Flandres free look bug at release? I have a strong suspicion that internal testing is simply setting up a bot only training room and seeing what happens .

    Biased polls

Even in the real world polling is horrifically biased. They decide what answer they want then formulate questions to get that answer, if that doesn;t work they then weight answers according to certain criteria such as chances of someone wanting to hide their real opinion. Why would forum polls be any less biased?

Somebody help me understand wg logic behind which ships get asw

I heard a CC saying that long range battleships get ASW but close range brawlers don’t. Makes perfect sense. looking for logic in Wargaming titles??

    LittleWhiteMouse leaves the CC program

Well done WG, you have lost a huge asset. This was completely avoidable. https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/242901-lwm-resigns-from-the-cc-program/
  6. Just dodge then watch as the torps complete a 90 degree to turn and still get you. These subs are horrible.

    What a coincidence - there's a Huanghe DISCOUNT

Perth is much better but for AA. better dpm better torps fighter to self spot more health Of course, if clan wars meta is double CV, that might be worth it.

How to have fun in Subs

If they could stick subs in convoy mode it would be great. We all know though. Regardless of feedback, they will be in randoms in a couple of months.

    Ranked rather pleasant

I’m in qualifiers now at tier 8. Few subs there also. playing with it against then is so silly. When you are almost on top of each other and can do nothing. What a silly idea.

How to have fun in Subs

Sub play is boring for the most part. playing against subs is boring especially when you have one spotted 2km from you but can do nothing to hurt it.

    Great Job WG

If you see a BB using air strikes for spotting then you know he is a potato and easily torped.

    Fix the CVs

I was expecting a Kaga. Did the CVs keep putting fighters directly over your ship?
  13. Expecting 5000 detonation flags. Im still certain WG will find some way of disappointing me Though!

If WG staff cannot be respectfull and break rules?

April is her discord name. Most communication between them and her has been through discord. Its probably not the right thing to be angry about right now!

    Homing Torpedoes need to go

    And guns, and depth charges.

    Homing Torpedoes need to go

I agree homing torps are silly. But without them subs will be terrible.

Whats the point of Public Test if you can't test new content?

Why test new content on test when you can spoil a whole ranked season with it?

ST 0.10.8. Bearn and Tulsa (DB 191)

    Indeed…

More skip bombers? I love my Immelmann but it’s gimmick is being stolen.

    Missouri event and economics

Simple, most players will then not know about the doubloon purchase option and will purchase large amounts of crates. Do WG seriously think that we cannot see through this?

WarGambling and The "game room" on HMS Belfast

Maybe WG should detail how many hundreds of Satan crates they would need to buy to get their very own Belfast?!

    Missouri event and economics

I was thinking of replying but I'll simply post LWM's response instead: I didn't want to have to write this. It's patently ridiculous that I'm having to wade into this again. Wargaming, you just keep making this worse. Alright, from the top. Here's the announcement from Wargaming regarding the Missouri mission: So, this is a lie. The "technical limitations" boil down to it taking them time; time they don't want to invest. They add ships to the Armory all of the time, and they don't want to patch her in. I stress the 'want' part of my statement. Wargaming wants loot boxes to be the most attractive option for acquiring Missouri. Consider the options on how to get Missouri for a non-loot-box option. STEP ONE: THE CAMPAIGN This is what we were told on the Devblog. The campaign is a time-gated event that's accessed through the web-portal. There are seven missions with each mission unlocking every 2 days starting on August 27th. The earliest you will be able to complete these missions is September 8th with the missions disappearing on the 15th. Wargaming estimates that it will take approximately 60 battles to complete. Depending on your game mode of choice, you're looking at approximately 10 to 20 hours worth of game play to complete these missions. STEP TWO: THE PURCHASE! Once you've got all of that time-gated stuff done, you can hop over to the premium shop and buy Missouri for cash. If you already have doubloons on your account and would prefer to spend those, you can contact customer support (shudder!) and complete the transaction that way. Or instead of all of this fuss, the loot boxes are right there. From day one. No wait. No time gating. No need to play more games than you're comfortable with. No need to fuss with dealing with customer support to spend doubloons. The automated option to spend any kind of currency on loot boxes is right there. The cringe part of all of this is that Wargaming already knows that if they were to sell Missouri directly alongside the loot boxes, without any of these extra steps to unlock the option of the former, loot boxes would still win out in terms of money spent. That's how greedy they're being. These complicated steps aren't really a compromise towards the community; don't mistake them for anything short of the bare-minimum PR stunt that they are. Wargaming has predictions for how much money this event was supposed to make them and they are doing their utmost to hit that number. These concessions aren't intended to undermine that number to any significant degree -- that's how little they think of you as consumers. You want to impress me, Wargaming? Get rid of the loot boxes. I know you won't do that but at least show some base level of decency and stop lying to us. Edited 3 minutes ago by LittleWhiteMouse Correcting shoddy, angry grammar
