Gronigen, if you haven't got Friesland, has massive dpm and the same hydro as Vampire so it might be a cheaper way of getting a similar experience.

Well according to Wargaming it has other characteristics…. These characteristics may not be why you bought the ship but WG thinks that’s fine. Later they will nerf Stalingrad guns and claim it’s fine because it has armour. Or nerf Yoshino guns as it has Torps.

I have neither but Ragnar alerts feels like a threat. Even in a cruiser a Ragnar at range is hard to deal with, it pens you all over and with it’s arcs and accuracy it can really beat you up. When in a destroyer, it’s large amount of 25mm plating makes life difficult. I thought I could kill one at range in my Kleber, nope. It’s radar matching detection makes it a threat even when you are just trying to spot it. In a battleship, it lights you up better that any other DD at long ranges. It is a nuisance and hard to deal with. A Plymouth Just doesn’t worry me on the enemy team.

You will probably be able to get a discount Tirpitz black on black friday. Previous years it has been 30% cheaper than the silver version and looks much nicer. I don't have brandenburg but I suspect Tirpitz is also stronger.

Taskkent also looks better than Delny. Not sure what they are doing really. Worse range and worse dpm.

You had a Chkalov. Those things kill DDs very nicely indeed. I have murdered so many very quickly and maimed the rest The only time I’ve lost in Brawls in the Chkalov today has been against 3 man CV divisions. This CVis broken enough in randoms, in brawls it’s scary.

You haven’t payed the Chkalov? It has beastly alpha and in these small maps it can cycle attacks so fast. I’m pretty sure I have more than a 90% win rate in these brawls in the Chkalov. I’m only playing solo, frequently against 3 man divisions. I murder the DD then target the battleship. It’s far too easy and ridiculous.

I just played three battles now, having sent that message. First time i've played brawls this season. I can confirm Chkalov is beastly in this mode, even against divisions.

Haven’t played brawls yet but I’ll test that theory in the Chkalov.

No, that’s fire chance over the course of one minute continuous firing. We should be comparing this ship to the Lion as they are at the same tier. This ship has far better dpm and fire starting.

Because Dead eye was a broken skill that gave a far bigger buff then WG expected while encouraging poor gameplay. These things have not changed.

I think that’s a very good reason to get it. I also think it’s the strongest and certainly the easiest to use thanks to the good range, shell arcs and slightly better sigma.

HP affects acceleration under full power. HIV nerf was initially doubling the time it took to get to full power from 40 to 80 seconds. It's now been buffed to 70s (50s to max reverse). Carnot has normal cruiser acceleration; 40s forward, 20s reverse. Speed boost seems to make this almost instant. HIV still has more than double the HP per ton though It doesn't feel like it!

Rochester is nicer than Anchorage. Better concealment, better citadel, better AP and much better AA in exchange for torps and a spotter
