Coal Ships Worth AVOIDING

Don’t buy Marco Polo or Z-44. Most if the others have something that makes them appealing. These don’t. -
Thanks @Redcap375 This why I ask about shell flight times. according to data mining it has the same air drag, shell weight and flight speed as Austin. If this is the case it’s shells would be close to the Kleber in flight times with 50% higher dpm. if it has normal American floaty shells than it would look pretty poor.
-
That is puzzling. The FS ricochet angles are better than Druids. If the SAP really isn’t working, It’s HE dpm is now about 215k. This is pretty good for a DD but this ship also seems to have similar ballistics to the Kleber. It shares shell characteristics with the Austin. I don’t suppose you could ask your clan mate if it seemed to have good shell flight times or not.

Ways of distribution of new ships (DB 256)
Miscommunication_dept replied to YabbaCoe's topic in Development Blog
With 33% more dpm than Austin, using the exact same shells with excellent ballistics This ship look very powerful no matter how awkward it's torps are! -
I hadn't noticed the superheal either .

Ways of distribution of new ships (DB 256)

Strong does not have to mean overpowered but i would expect a steel ship to be competitive. I have concerns over the range and armour mostly but I could be very wrong and it might be a great ship. -
I didn't once I saw the stats. Steel ships usually look fairly strong. 17km range and poor armour looks a little weak.

Incomparable doesn't look strong enough for steel? At least it's not going to make me regret my Ragnar purchase. Forest Sherman looks fun and for coal, very attractive. Sevastopol for research points? Again does not look that strong right now due to it's standard supercruiser dispersion without Stalingrad Sigma or arming threshold. 11km detection and better broadside might mean it's a different playstyle -
So.... Its STEEL!!! X INCOMPARABLE A 1915 design for a gigantic fast battlecruiser, armed with six 508-mm guns in three turrets. The battleship is notable for her good speed, powerful AA, but not the best armor. As far as consumables, Incomparable is equipped with Engine Boost, Specialized Repair Teams, and Short-Range Hydroacoustic Search, which differs from the standard Hydroacoustic Search with a longer action time, but lower action range. She is also armed with two quadruple-tubed 533 mm torpedo launchers with a good range and the ability to launch single torpedoes. The ship will be available for steel

I think NDA might be up for Verdi. At least, Overlodbou has posted a YouTube review thought it wouldn’t be the first time if he posted it too early!
-
Worse turning circle than Stalingrad with half the hp per ton, combined with a high citadel and 17km range makes this look underwhelming. Maybe coal?

I’ve heard that a hot fix will be applied on 17/12 at 0600-0700 CET. cannot find any official information though. Is this true? @Seraphice @Crysantos @MrConway -

What and when would be the next steel ship?
Miscommunication_dept replied to luokailk's topic in General Discussion
Very low reload guns don't work that well with the server tick rate. You can have 1.43s reload or 1.71s. Advertised reload of 1.5s will end up with guns firing every 1.71s in game. This is very obvious with Smalland and Druid in game already. -
