I agree, I got a Musashi 80% from the Go navy event where the containers had coal and in the arsenal you could swap tokens for more coal. 750000 freexp takes 10 times longer to get.

I would agree but it insures you against missing 8 directives over the course of the event. I don't expect to miss any directives but am ready in case I do. In fact, by the end of next week I will have a Cossack.

It's not too hard to get all 4 directives in a few hours. some tasks are easy some are harder but a few games will complete most tasks. Doesn't seem so bad for me when the end result is a ship worth nearly 10000 doubloons. I assume you all have bought the 10 guineas for 1 euro deal?

Wait, the change means that all HE shells that would usually shatter now cause 10% damage? I didn't read that.

I chose Musashi as I didn’t like the ijn battleship line at all. Great ship. I expect the Jean Bart and Alaska will be free xp ships with Kronstadt being available for coal soon.

I don't really understand the problem. Sometimes these people are on your team, sometimes on the enemy team showing you perfect broadside. I just can't believe someone achieving 35% win rate in tier IV would make it all the way to tier X!

I’m close to having enough Xp to get the Kronstadt. I’ve been looking at its stats. the Kronstadt has worse range and dispersion than a scharnhorst and only a 0.05 advantage in sigma. I would just like to know Kronstadt owner opinions on its accuracy. Thank you.

Probably the best idea. Currently it's kronstadt or nothing. Alaska looks to have graf spee dispersion so should be quite good.

I think I have exactly the same build as you. I would like to try switching CE for IFHE but I don't want to spend 1000 doubloons switching!

When you're the one lighting fires on BBs they don't seem overpowered. You shoot 50 times finally get a fire only for it to be damconned. So you try another 50. Fires are not a problem for battleships, your repair party will heal 100% of it. I'm a battleship main but I recently had a game in my Chapayev; I think I lit 7 fires and only got a few thousand damage from them. BTW in game the battleships are also far more nimble then real life.

I had the thought that maybe it was best compared against battleships. I find it hard to compare favourably even with a tier 8 North Carolina! Same concealment, worse armour, worse dispersion and worse ap (slightly more dpm but much smaller caliber). The only thing that's better is its shell velocity but for poking people in the citadel slower is better. maybe I should buy the Nelson?

It would only be worth it with manual secondaries so only high tier german and french battleships I don't think they'll spend their time on that but it is a good idea.

It’s untrue. All German battleship guns get 1/4 except the 105 Bismarck secondaries which are also used on German destroyers. As far as the IFHE question. Yes it is worth it and beneficial for a GK but only if they allow you a 23pt captain. Right now CE is so much more useful.

Schors and Fiji are amazing, very different play styles so it's fun to have both. Gadjah Mada is very good but I prefer my Leningrad. With CE you can stealth torp and it has great guns for a more russian play style.

I did this I had mostly tier 4 destroyers where I was usually top 3 and a Bayern that I couldn’t play well. I bought a scharnhorst. My second battle with her I got a kraken but my win rate is something like 48%. I also freexped through the Gneisenau to get the Bismarck. Great ship but not against tier tens which make up most of your opponents. The thought process always was to get the next bigger, stronger ship but it usually felt weaker due to changing opponents. Take your time. If you want casual play, tier 4 is very nice. Work your way up to 6 and 7 but please take your time before you get to 8. Reach tier 7 in multiple classes first as cruiser play is not too dissimilar to tier 8 battleship play.

If it drops form the current 14% to 10% I can't see many people switching for such a small change. If it dropped to 7% I'd give my GK IFHE and create a secondary monster!!
