Why are we learning about new year containers before Santa crates?

I’m struggling to think of a bad tier ten. All are good but Yamato and GK are my favourites. Bourgogne might be the best but I have not tried it. in tier 9s it’s either Georgia or Jean Bart. Musashi probably just as strong but not as interesting once you have the Yamato.

Buy the Mass and grind freeXP for the Alaska. Both are very strong ships so I’m sure you’d be happy with either.

No. Cruisers are still pretty strong once they learn to angle and use concealment or land masses to turn. Their DPM and fire chance make them the most consistent damage dealers in the game.

I’ve tried that many times but feel like HE is so much more consistent and has great alpha. I have expert loader though and have had some AP fun with Moskvas recently. Do you use double rudder? I’ve been trying that hoping I can hang a little closer to the front lines with it.

Yoshino does do this very well. Unfortunately you rarely have AP loaded as it’s so inconsistent against everything else!

There was a story that when Warspite faced destroyers in real life they set the fuses on their AP shells to instantaneous so this would be historical. I have got a few citadels in my Yamato on Smolensks. It’s a lot less consistent than on a Wooster of course.

It's always toxic if, as a destroyer, you are getting bombarded by rocket planes and your CV ignores you as you get killed. Then, of course, complaining that all the destroyers die to quickly. Just curious about this but why do CVs rarely get the most plane kills anymore? They often get less than five plane kills which is not very helpful to the team.

True. I’d love to do some analysis of this one day! I don’t believe Smolensk is overpowered, just very annoying to play against.

Doing so doesn’t take into accounts ships with an unusually high skill floor or low skill ceiling. Smolensk May be a good example of this.

Should we really be using the top 5% of players for this? Why not top 50% or all? For all players, using maplesyrup, we have 53% winrate for Musashi with Missouri very close. Musashi feels too strong but it's hard to say Missouri is THAT much better than the Iowa. No tier 9 silver has a winrate of even 50%. For me it is quite clear why. Why do you play tier 9 silver ships? Only to get to tier 10? If that's the case and it certainly is to me it would stand to reason that tier 9 silver ships are no longer played once the tier 10 is unlocked. For me I have only one or two silver tier 9s as I have almost every tier 10. I play all my tier 9 premiums regularly so I am playing those ships with a greater level of experience than when I was grinding through. I'm certain this has an effect on the disparity but how big that effect is is up for debate.

Interesting way of putting it. turning radius is roughly 8% smaller for the Blys. However rudder is close to 40% slower. I stand by what I said regarding Blys’ disadvantage here.. Having looked at the artillery charts I was surprised to find that the Blys flight time is less than the Vanquelin. So I’ll certainly concede your point about ballistics.

6.8s ruddershift compared to 3.7s for the Minsk makes it rather clumsy.

Have you tried the training room? Just add a couple of bots but tell them not to fire and you have exactly what you ask for.

The Blys hasn't really got the shell speed or manoeuvrability for open water running and gunning. It's strong alpha is great for an ambush, unfortunately it's concealment makes such an ambush unlikely. Judging by some comments here I must try my Sims again.

The one I saw was killed at close range by either a Yoshino or a Stalingrad.

French 380 turrets are very flat on the front so are penned and therefore damaged readily.

Get the Leningrad instead.

Thunderstorms are better than cyclones. 8km spotting is fine for battleships, not too bad for destroyers but terrible for cruisers.

The extra secondary range is amazing, isn't it? 12.1km is great and I wish GK would have it. On the other hand this ship is a great flanker so I'm likely to put the aiming module back on at some point.

Ah, that's the difference. I had a couple of tier 7,8 and 9 silver ships but I sell most as I don't enjoy low tiers anymore. Of course if you have all the captains already it makes perfect sense
