Well I’ve just found I can access dockyard and armory via web browser. Im away for the first two weeks of this but could buy boosters now... I would love to know the value of about 12k of boosters without playing. I don’t think id spend more than that.

Be aware that the chances of getting a Belfast in the Santa crates is extremely low. I had every other ship bar Missouri when I received mine.

You cannot overpen a GK. still a tanky ship though.

I broadly like the changes but being in a T8 battleship with 380mm guns will be painful.

Hindenburgs legendary would be a must have for any battleship but I''m not sure it's worth it for a cruiser.

Moskva and Yamato are similar and both good. GKs is very good if you like brawling. Henri is fun but my Henri has a 17.7km detection because of it.

Of course! However, it can perform the same job as a Yoshino just as effectively while also being able to perform as a battleship. Unfortunately I have been largely disappointed with its AP against enemy battleships so far. Even on flat broadsides it just doesn''t seem to get to the citadel. Could be me though. Against cruisers though it's AP is very dangerous.

24 km range, battlecruiser accuracy and 63% fire chance? Sounds like easy mode to me!

Smolensk and Thunderer are great. Smolensk is more unique though. Thunderer does Yoshinos job as well as Yoshino does but is also a tough battleship that can fight in closer ranges also.

They both suffer as they are just bigger squishier versions of their tech tree counterparts. If only they had better AP they would be far more interesting.

Georgia is a great long range flanker whereas Massachusetts is more of a brawler. Georgia is more unique but both are very good and strong ships.

I'd be surprised if Venezia and Brindisi are not nerfed soon. Trento is a bit soft but Zara and Amalfi are pretty good.

Bought 6 form the armory and got the Scharnhorst B and Sims B. They are dupicates so they give me a mission worth 2500 doubloons each I'm happy as I've received 2 ships 35,000 freeXP and 60 nice camos and it will cost me 1250 doubloons in the end.

Why? IFHE would allow penetration of cruiser plating but there would be no ther difference. How often to cruisers stay within 11km? IFHE allows the GK to pen 37mm with even its smaller secondaries. A much bigger advantage in my opinion.

Not correct the Graf has worse secondary DPM then any tier 7+ German battleship. It does have a smaller dispersion however. From your experience and from what Flamu said it might be worth investigating. Best secondary ship? When we had french and British battleships everywhere I would have said the IFHE Kurfurst. It melts any 32mm plating with ease. Unfortunately now we see Soviet battleships everywhere and against those ships IFHE is worthless. we also need to take into account the cost of the build. With the Mass you don’t lose main battery dispersion by mounting the secondary module and the accuracy means you can leave manual secondaries if you like. Republique is the king of firestarters with the longest secondary range in the game but has fragile secondaries. I think Massa overall is the best secondary ship but the Germans suit staying in that close range much better.

Amalfi is the first good ship of the line although the Zara is not terrible. use the spotter plane so you can reach out when needed but don’t be afraid to get closer. The smoke gives you a free turn when you need it and is truely naughty once you get used to it.

That would definitely smooth over the big transition between t7 and t8. I would couple it with a slight improvement of concealment for T7 ships to lessen the impact of the concealment module.

I was torped by a yoshino yesterday and our gearing had to keep dodging his torps. These long range torps on ships with 12km detection and a big citadel mean you are risking your team mates almost every time you launch. I would love it if Wargaming got rid of theses torps from these ships and give them 8km torps instead. Of course, they would probably need some sort of buff to make up for it.

IFHE bismarck build will melt a 32mm plated Richi very nicely. But who runs IFHE on a Bismarck anymore? Even I specced out of it!

Oh yes all the 150mm and 128mm secondaries have 1/4 pen. 105mm have 1/6 at tier 7 and below.
