Thunderer is probably the second best battleship after the Kremlin (until this very important nerd that is coming). Georgia is good as is JB but the Thunderer is a very special ship. you can HE spam and do very well or you can load AP and do even better.

True. The Stalingrad has pretty good turret angles.

The Yoshino has many options against the Stalingrad. He can bow tank and out dpm him. he can kite and do the same he can brawl and torp/ citadel the Stalingrad(this is obviously high risk as the Stalin has very nice pen angles. As far as out spotting goes. I run my Yoshino with double rudder and a 13.2km detection. That’s still better than a full concealment Stalingrad. I expect no one is saying the Yoshino is the better ship in a normal battle but - as this last ranked season showed - 1v1 is very different to 9v9.

Why didn't you give the Puerto Rico the main reload mod in your comparison? You gave it to all the others. You are absolutely right though, it is not very strong but well balanced among tier 10. I only hope Wargaming will keep it exclusive to those who grinded like the steel ships. If it appears in a Santa crate I would be disappointed, though i'd buy some crates to get it!

They had to do this. As it was you charge a cap and although you’d be out spotted, a couple more seconds at speed boost would reveal that poor Jap DD and MRB would make short work of her. It will make the French more of a dedicated gunboat rather than a hybrid- a Khaba rather than a Grozovoi in essence.

The German battleships should have got the improved heal and the US ships given the dispersion buff.

Yoshino has better Dpm then the Henri And cruiser accuracy. The Yoshino can do the normal cruiser thing to the other supercruisers as you mention.

If I was the Yoshino at medium range. I’d bow tank with HE Like I have done to Stalingrads in the past. If he tries to get around to citadel me he would get a couple but eat 4 torps. if the Yoshino can kite the PR will struggle.

Yes citadels should be a very rare occurrence in a battleship if you're playing it correctly. The changes to the Conqueror were a buff IMO.

Smolensk will get an armour nerf if the IFHE and plating changes Go through.

I have Yoshino. I would say at long range the Yoshino has the advantage due to deadly HE spam. At close range the Torps also give the advantage. In the mid range I’d favour the PR.

The changes look absolutely fine considering the speed these things go and the effect of their MRB.

I think Thunderer is a better long range HE spammer than the conq due to its accuracy. I’m not sure which is better at blapping cruisers, it’s accuracy vs short fuses. AP against battleships the Thunderer wins. brawling, I would say Thunderer as well due to its rudder shift and reload. Conquerer has a great heal but it’s not enough to match the Thunderer overall.

So, are they now officially light LIGHT cruisers?
