I once got mounted by an Izumo at the border.

T10 and even T 8 CVs can drop my Desmoines with ease.

5 containers with a chance of a tech tree ship or a choice of Leningrad, Graf spee or perth( my favourite premiums for this price). I do find Wargaming’s pricing on this a little high. Should be perhaps 500 per bundle.

It's a shame they are not buffing the secondary mod. Wargaming any chance of a 40% dispersion and range module for the secondaries? Currently it is very difficult to choose this over aiming systems even in secondary ships. @Sehales

5000 doubloons is too much to pay for a chance of getting a ship a little early. Instead I spent 8000 on a rather fetching galaxy camp for my Desmoines to grind the legendary! Lesson learned in the french event where I paid far too much and didn’t even get a Mogador!

These super cruisers should have the same bow and stern protection as the tech tree ships. Surely a super cruiser should have worse armour.

Unfortunately if current plating changes go ahead all T8+ cruisers will autobounce 380mm shells with their central plating. All T7 + battleships who use 380mm will effectively be nerfed by this change where those with larger guns will be unaffected. I do believe tier 10s have been balanced around the 30mm armour section and indeed few of them can overmatch 30mm. I more concerned with the 380mm guns position if these changes do go ahead. Probably heading off topic so.... I'd like wargaming to tell us more about the Siegfried, Agir and Odin. 3 new premiums from one nation at roughly the same time is unusual especially when they all look similar to one another.

It’s odd. I haven’t seen any mention of it. It would be a good reward ship though. could they be having troubles balancing it with its smoke?

The Odin is a tier 8 battleship with the same 305mm main guns. just to confuse you further.

I don’t find her fun to play. I’d much rather take out my GK or Thunderer.

I remember keeping a khaba spotted in this little ship while a harugumo pounded him from smoke. The Mgaba tried to chase me but with a 2km spotting advantage it didn’t last long. Its limited but when used correctly it’s quite effective.

The secondaries on the Yashima have a total DPM of 680,000 The german battleships and the american secondary ships have secondary DPM of between 500,000 and 540,000 Only the french (Jean Bart/Alsace/Richilieu/bourgogne) have higher DPM then the Yashima on their secondaries, they of course lack pen to achieve anything so their DPM becomes irrelevant. The combination of DPM and penetration (with IFHE) would most likely make these secondaries the best in the game if one was to implement a full IFHE secondary build. However, as you say, doing so on this ship would be unwise.

Torp protection system is too strong, why not add 15% to torpedo bulge and leave detection alone? The other ones look good in general. I still cannot imagine taking Auxillary mod over main battery mod 3

I once managed to hit a Grozovoi with two torps in my Yoshi. I now rarely use torps and may as well just take the Azuma out! The Grozovoi didn't complain or whine though he had every reason to. I sent some good karma his way!

With all these new ships going I'm holding off on my Ohio purchase to see what appears.

The Yashima doesn’t look too good. Might be for salt mining. the Agir is basically an Odin swapping armour for more accurate main guns?

There are a few nice ones coming. Hope woke will be coal as I have lots.

I’ll say what I always say to this! If you want to do long range HE spam the Thunderer can do that as well as the Yoshino. Also: Big AP salvos much better armour bigger health pool better heal much better rudder shift The Yoshino has torps but they are very situational and rely on you being the closest ship to advancing battleships. NOT a situation the Yoshino wants to find itself in. The Yoshino is good but the Thunderer is much better.

Friesland and Alaska are very good. what do you enjoy more destroyer or cruiser/battleship gameplay? That would probably be your choice. Azuma is more of an oversized Ibuki. It’s just so much more fragile than the Alaska. Nelson remains a bargain at 375,000 freeXP.

Well I just got to stage 4 and got a Kaga in my mega container. I also have the opportunity to buy the Puerto Rico for 35,000 doubloons....,

Smolensk and Colbert are soon to be affected by a global change if it goes ahead. When this has happened to premiums (smoke firing penalty) refunds have been offered. It will be interesting if they do the same for these ships.
