Same HE DPM as Alaska but far worse AP. This ship might be too strong as they aren’t too fragile, good guns, great heal and concealment. Trying to think of a weakness.. AA isn’t good.

I actually really like this plan, as this deals with a few issues I had with the intial plating plan. It allows 380mm guns to remain relevant but weaker than larger guns. It reinforces the difference between CL and CA though I don't like 32mm armour as it is equal to entire lines of battleships 30mm plating is also too high for T8 and below CA. Reason being that battleships at T7 and below only receive 25mm plating. Henri will love 16mm light cruisers and might become Smolensk killer in chief. IJN guns going to 1/5 HE pen would give equal pen to other destroyers and makes sense. Personally I think the change should become as simple as: He pen at 1/6 and pens equal level plating example: 120mm HE pens 20mm. IFHE: 30% increased HE pen, -50% fire chance. Demolition expert applies after the 50% reduction (12% fire chance becomes 6% with IFHE then 8% with IFHE and DE). Small uplift in light cruiser fire chance for balancing. This protects 380mm battleships rather well and doesn't make USN battleship deck plating obsolete. It also creates a real choice. The main advantage is it's a small change and will most likely be easier to balance.

I have been thinking about which builds I should change. I’m considering putting the consumable upgrade in the GK. Yes, I know, crazy but my GK already has 15.9km concealment so I’m thinking 17+km wouldn’t be too much worse. 10% extra heal would help with the inevitable Smolensk fires. What builds are you thinking of changing?

Alaska is such a hood cruiser killer. We don’t yet know even IF Siegfried will be released. It looks like it will be Siegfried or Agir rather than both.

It’s worse Alsace has a sigma of 1.6. I gave up on it long ago mostly because of the crazy dispersion. but stats say it’s doing ok so i wouldn’t call for a buff

I think the point is that that is true if all cruisers so is not a point you can use against these cruisers when comparing to their lines. The Yoshino is far tankier than the Zao but both can be blapped by a battleship.

Impressive but I would strongly recommend you swap out BFT for Demolition expert as it takes your IFHE secondary fire chance to 6% from 4 for all your small secondaries. 10% increase in sec dpm or 50% increase in fire chance. Of course, your choice and you clearly don't need my help!

Like the Kremlin then! I thought I saw a post yesterday from Little White Mouse stating that she had been told they should have battlecruiser dispersion. I cannot find it now.

I do appreciate you giving us preliminary stats to let us know what is coming. As I understand it, these ships are getting battlecruiser dispersion at longer ranges? Is that true? If it is I would less concerned about the stats as they would then no longer indicate an overpowered line in my opinion.

So those who own the Moskva will receive a premium camo when it is transferred to the armoury. Those who have the Moskva and have paid 5000 doubloons for a premium camo will already have that camo. Is there anything planned to compensate those who have already spent? Perhaps permanent camos for the new tier 10s? Thank you.

It’s funny how some seem to see SAP is weak whereas others say it’s very strong. I’m regulary landing 13-15k salvos on battleships even when angled. I can take half the smolensks health in one short and angling won’t help him. destroyers of course can be one shotted, even Khabas 50mm plating won’t help him. The only area where they are weak is against Soviet battleships.

Life is about to get spot harder for 380mm battleships... Also USN battleships will be penned by all light cruisers with IFHE. Smolensk nerf sounds good though.
