Don’t do what one did yesterday against my Kronstadt. He angled well but that only prevented me over penning his citadel. 4 citadels and dead. some once explained Chapayev play to me this way: Start of the round head butt an island near a cap and radar. Then turn and kite away setting fire to anything. I would actually only do that once then stay in open water. At 12-16km from the nearest battleship. If you are spotted your radar will counter spot at 10-12 km you can hit DDs quite effectively so do that.

The freeXP inflation is not too bad really. As I understand it the Missouri took a lot longer to get as we didn’t have all these flags we have now. The coal prices are odd though. Smolensk and Thunderer are far too close to the JB and Georgia in price. Could it be because the T10s are ‘special’ ships rather than premiums.

T9 premiums earn the most. Of those Jeanbart is probably the most consistent although Georgia is very good. Friesland is great but I find destroyers less consistent as it only take a few seconds of being a potato to become a dead potato.

Nerfing some, meanwhile others are being released with guns that can overmatch tier 10 cruisers 30mm plating. Until recently only Yamato and Republiqie could do that. now there are 7 that can.

Even light cruisers will be able to bounce 380mm shells, that’s a massive nerf to quite a few battleships. The GK HE pen buff is good and only it’s interaction with Des Moines armour would be negatively affected by the change.

It's a long grind but the legendary fits the Moskva perfectly.

The posts would suggest the Kronstadt would get 27mm armour. French and german battleships will be painful if they go through with these plating changes.

If I am in a tier 10 game in my t8 cvs I will dump everything as I know i'll only get one attack run. The exception to this is when hunting the destroyer at the start of the game. Disclaimer: I'm not good at CVs.

No to skill based matchmaking! I assume the OP realises that if only the top 50% are in the top group, as soon as they enter this top group the average win rate of all players in the top group will be 50%. At this point, according To skill based matchmaking, the bottom 50% will be moved to the lower group. This would continue until there is only 1 player! Win rate based matchmaking doesn’t work as it is a statistic solely based on the comparison between players. Change the quality of players by introducing a tier system would throw the whole Winrate system Into turmoil. Top players in the lower group would have a much higher winrate then even the mid level of the top group even if they are worse players.

You also earn 10 per day from an Albemale/ London victory.

It's about balancing the interactions between light and heavy cruisers and to remove IFHE as a must have for all cruisers/. My problem is that they have already balanced the game to their liking as is. A big change this will require lots more rebalancing in future.

How concerned should they be? Russia is a huge country but its population is tiny compared to Eu NA or SEA. If Wargaming truely releases OP ships for this purpose they will be ruining the game to encourage a tiny percentage of their potential player base. I'm not sure that is smart business. I choose to believe they will balance these ships and I fully expect in a few years even the Kremlin will be balanced with a sigma of 1.723.

50mm belt is not too bad. spaced citadel armour though? Could be interesting.

If you sit broadside maybe but If actively manuevering Those 20k salvos become 5k salvos. I’ve received dreadnaught multiple times in this ship so the heal does work!

Which tier are youon? The Drake is a beast. The armour seems decent and the heal is great. The amount of times I’ve been able to bounce shells by angling or using the 30mm deck which is a typical for tier. I really frustrated a Jean Bart yesterday on my way to a kraken. Goliath looks just as strong if not stronger. All mid tier cruisers are squishy but most do not get a heal.

From the front? How? Thunderer has the best dispersion of any battleship with battlecruiser dispersion and 2.00 sigma. That combination doesn’t exist in any other battleship.

Ah Ok, I was very keen on this ship but have since found that instead of the Siegfrieds cruiser dispersion, this ship has battlecruiser dispersion and 1.80sigma with its 305mm guns. It will be interesting to see how it plays.

Wargaming have stated that these ‘special’ships can be nerfed. Smolensk and Colbert could be heading for a nerf in armour plating though this would be a global change rather than a nerf. I do think they will in general avoid doing this.

Good players in the Thunderer use AP. It’s a much scarier ship then and probably too strong. As a long range HE spammer it’s no better than the Conqueror and can’t even print a new ship when you do hit him!
