I think they are getting close to sorting out the long range sniping of these ships, Kremlin may need one more small nerf but we’re getting there.

The grind is fun so I would continue. I really enjoy the Donskoi and kept it. Moskva is a good ship but it is an unusual one.

When announced Wargaming had already carried out many calculations to come up with their new armour schemes and new rules regarding HE penetration etc. A lot of work was done before any announcement. There was never any chance of convincing Wargaming to stop it. I'm fairly happy with it so far, finding light cruisers without IFHE surprisingly effective.

Has any ship available for freeXP ever increased in price. I was just trying to think of an example but the best I can think of is T9 ships going from 750,000 to 1,000,000 freeXP. The ships themselves didn’t increase in price but their replacements did. 2 million freeXP is a huge amount for a ship but Wargaming has a problem with new freeXP saturating the matchmaking queue. Increasing the cost is a logical thing to do. However, as I see it the matchmaking saturation doesn’t last that long. We’ve all seen battles with 6 Alaskas but where are they now? No where near as common as they once were even though the Alaska is still available. The Kronstadt seems almost rare now even though it was removed for that reason.

She can’t disappear while shooting and any battleship overmatched everything but the citadel. Colbert is strong and frustrating to play against but has real weaknesses.

Ha true!! Must have had the Minotaur in my head, now that has a poor fire chance! the point still stands though. I do agree that calibre has a lot to do with it 12% seems to be the magic number for 152mm guns.

I have tried to reset my captain skills today and every time I get the ‘operation in progress’ animation for at least 10 minutes until I shut down WOWS. When I restart the captain skill reset hasn’t taken place. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Don't take IFHE then. Smolensk with 16% fire chance? Who would take IFHE that would be hilarious and depressing Worcester has a higher fire chance as it has only 10 guns rather than 16 and those are of a higher calibre. I've tried to understand your questions, apologies if I have misunderstood.

Never used IFHE as the main targets are destroyers and battleships. Also I lack the points as I use 4 tier 3 skills on this ship.

Standard tank as above is best for most battleships. You could take high alert over EM especially if you install the traverse module. I’d stick with Dfens_666 suggestion though.

In this example there was a loss to be compensated. The B hull removal is not a loss, you would surely never use the B hull if you had the C hull. Exception for the Nurnberg B hull of course.

Not so! I have specced out of IFHE and into DE for my Bayard and Wooster. Resultof 4 games: a 200k game, 2 95-105k games and a 130k. Seems to still do enough pen damage, especially against russians and germans where IFHE would make little different with regard to penetration.
