Oh I’ve been watching Flambass on Twitch. Does that not work for the missions?

@Wargaming - Captain rework feedback - BB Secondary
Miscommunication_dept replied to Defianted's topic in General Discussion
I think that is most likely. A tiny buff to secondary range on the Germans would give the Odin stealth firing secondaries. I doubt they would allow this. -
@Wargaming - Captain rework feedback - BB Secondary
Miscommunication_dept replied to Defianted's topic in General Discussion
WG said the ‘majority’ of battleships would get increased secondary range. This could mean all battleships get the same secondary range, Or it could mean the secondary battleships getting increased range. I’d like them to clarify that but I’m not expecting them too for a while. Cheaper secondary builds may be one of the best parts of this change. -

Same dispersion model as the Graf. -
Manfred von Richthofen's bombers are OP?

What these AP bombs just did to my Moskva is making me rethink buying Stalingrad.... -
@Wargaming - Captain rework feedback - BB Secondary

It certainly can be argued that German battleships lost their secondary edge when the Massachusetts appeared. At 11km the Germans have 657m dispersion while Massachussetts/Ohio/Georgia have 393m. DPM is very similar. Germans have better pen but until the GK, the vast majority of their secondaries have only 26mm pen. That means that just like the Massachusetts, they can only pen superstructure on T8-10 battleships. The difference is that the USN secondaries are effective without speccing into them at all. Just put the secondary module and you have nice secondaries that do a lot of work while you keep all the normal tank and concealment skills. -
PT 0.9.9 - changes to test ships.

Ah, that makes more sense. Izumo 57mm, as it looks like the same hull. -
[Poll] How many lines with "Tier X" have you reset for the "Research Bureau" thus far?
Miscommunication_dept replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Which one? I'm tempted to sell almost all of mine if we got something other than credits. -

Helena vs Munchen shell flight times and pen . For me, this is all I need to know.... -
T7 Munchen in the shop
Miscommunication_dept replied to Captain_Singleton's topic in General Discussion
It's happened many times already. NDA was lifted 10pm (UK time) last night. I don't know why they didn't lift it even a week ago, they haven't changed anything! -

Yes you will have got a ton of flags in the gift containers as @Yedwy said, you can grind the line in a very short time with those. -

Ochakov health pool and dpm with better pen but worse armour. I too enjoyed Ochakov so I could end up buying this. -
Wargaming believes that if you are flying planes you can only do one thing at a time... The CV rework. Meanwhile, Destroyers can cap, torp, spot, fight off fighters, and fight submarines at the same time.......

Interesting. I remember them saying before that these ships would be impossible for the matchmaking.

ST, changes to the commander skills system (DB 70)
Miscommunication_dept replied to Tanatoy's topic in Development Blog
Well these skills as they are look like a big nerf to supercruisers. Supercruisers are large and suffer 60 second fires so need battleship skills. Instead they would have to use cruiser skills. With the exception of Azuma and Yoshino, All supercruisers seem to overperform so I don’t think Wargaming would worry about that. I’m not a fan of this at the moment. I would add manual secondaries and AFT together as a four pointer and possibly remove concealment expert and bake it into all ships. That alone would give all ships four more points to use. -
Take away the [edited]0 damage penetrarion!!!!

Read the most recent developer bulletin. -
If you haven’t bought Thunderer, buy her. Georgia and Pommern are both good but Georgia is more unique and super fast with accurate guns. Georgia is a much better ship at longer ranges but loses in the brawl.

They won’t give rid of Slava unless it’s brokenly OP. Usually when a ship leaves the armoury you get a few months notice. Hopefully it will be the same for research bureau ships.

280 - 300 mm guns : AP or HE ?
Miscommunication_dept replied to Beastofwar's topic in General Discussion
Short fuse is better in all situations except layered armour where the outer layer arms the shell and it detonates before reaching the citadel. As far as I know, in game shell speed does not decrease as it passes through armour. even a 0.1s fuse would n't detonate until it left the armour plate even in the Kremlin. -
Kusnetsov, Cunningham of Lutjens ?
Miscommunication_dept replied to Ronchabale's topic in General Discussion
That of course depends on what Wargaming will do with their enhanced skills Kuznetzov has improved jack of all trades, that skill doesn't exist in the planned rework. Same issue with the Dunkirks. Perhaps a buffed emergency consumables? 10% instead of 5% reduced reload of Damcon and repair party? The activated talents have no reason to change in the rework as they work outside of the skills. Of course the talents are more important then the enhanced skills so if they changed those you would hope for refunds -
280 - 300 mm guns : AP or HE ?
Miscommunication_dept replied to Beastofwar's topic in General Discussion
Odin did a review of LittleWhiteMouse? In a battleship I almost always fire AP into the superstructure, it's rarely worth switching unless you think they will stay bow on and that no otehr broadside will become available. As you mention, the saturation mechanic actually makes AP very viable even against very lightly armoured or damage saturated targets. This is especially true of German Battleships that all have anaemic HE damage. -
[Poll] Will you buy new IJN Tier X DD "Hayate" for 2M "FreeXP" ?
Miscommunication_dept replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
It's hard to ignore a ship when you've seen it. The only ship I've been on was the Belfast. 2018 was a very good Christmas for Wargaming! -
Kusnetsov, Cunningham of Lutjens ?
Miscommunication_dept replied to Ronchabale's topic in General Discussion
Lutjens may become better with the captain rework but right now Kutnetzov is the best. I only bought Kutnetzov as I had nearly 500,000 coal. Yoshino is good but not amazing. So many cruisers do long range HE spam. You could wait for another coal ship to come. -
Zipping around in the Le Terrible at 53 knots while citadelling cruisers at 12km is fantastic. Sorry Dallas but i'm sailing faster than your shells are flying!
