I love my Marceau. It’s pretty much w guaranteed win when I charge down a DD in it. Soviet cruisers are an issue at less than 12km but Americans really struggle to hit you. Throttle juking with engine boost is a vital skill to learn and can throw off planes at cruiser fire equally well. I do not own Smalland or Paolo Emilio but will likely buy the Paolo.

They don't actually. They have 60-75 degree ricochet angles while the cruisers get 70-80 The ricochet angles are the same as those of Minotaur AP. My main concern with DD battles is that SAP doesn't seem to do the module damage which is so effective against destroyers.

I actually think you should be able to get defended ribbons for blocking caps, one every 30s for example. Clearly you cannot capture the flag while it's still in the enemies grasp, you have to rip it away from his cold dead fingers!!

Soviet battleship have worse sigma the the Germans. Only Kremlin matches the 1.8 sigma standard on the Germans. Improved vertical dispersion is the main difference as well as slightly better horizontal dispersion until the ‘poor long range dispersion’ comes in at 18km.

I always use acceleration mod in all ships that spend time in smoke. I don’t think the Anchorage has the armour to be duking shells so I doubt double rudder would be that useful.

Of those, Bagration. Do you have Lenin, Massachusetts, Bayard and Mainz? I would take any of those first. In general, do not buy a tier 7. Matchmaking and armour changes have hurt them badly. The fact they cannot mount the concealment module also makes them hard to play as bottom tier.

AP bombs also wreck Stalingrads. Witnessing this is why i bought the Bourgogne instead!

Marceau tryharding... One thing of note was the poor GK. I set off his dam con with torps but missed the second set so had to gun brawl. I set 3 fires, then rammed him giving him a flood!

Like the Mino, it’s much better to smoke before you fire. The citadel is very good at arming battleship shells.

Oh, I thought the accuracy was consistent? long range accuracy is better than thunderer in horizontal and vertical dispersion as well as sigma. ill take your word for it as I do not own Slava but I am very surprised!

Georgia is definitely better tier for tier. Georgia is a bit of a super cruiser while Ohio is a tank but not a very tanky one. Ohio is very good but perhaps Slava is more unique?

Belfast 43 looked limited already. Now it just looks weak. Poor Hizen I think @invicta2012 is right about the Leone. Good changes to the Soviet cruisers. Plymouth starting to look strong. Italian battleships look very interesting.

The only torp hit I got was on a random destroyer. I shot them at a battleship but the unspotted destroyer got in the way. Made me smile.

I like it. Got my highest T8 cruiser damage in her a few days ago, 187k. I am trying spotter at the moment for those times you need a little more range Hydro seems pointless in smoke when you will be detected at 8km. Dont forget to use the AP!!

Wargaming don't intentionally stealth nerf anything. I've only played one game recently and it still seems to have cruiser dispersion.
