From 1 to unlimited?! Wargaming is so funny.

Not a great battle but interesting. I got radared by the Puerto Rico and in his first salvo took 5.3k from me and destroyed one of my two turrets. Left his radar and got undetected, 15 seconds later a Thunderer took 10K from my poor ship. How he managed to blind fire like that, I have no idea! I was ready to die but in the end the battle was ok.

Armour.....

I bought the Smalland and don;t regret it but I've only just realised that the Hayate has the same dpm as the Kitakaze, nearly as many fires per minute and with reload booster, the ability to put 20 fish in the water! Doesn't look bad at all.

Is it just me or have Wargaming failed to address the vast majority of complaints with these changes?

If I’m in a Yamato and a GK is closing in for a drive by, I will go for the ram. If I am in a GK and try a drive by on a Yamato, I will expect the Yamato will try to ram. Ramming is fairly predictable and in some cases justified.

Pommern is the king brawler but brawling in this game is tricky and against the meta. Yoshino is one of the best long range HE spammers but it melts fast under HE and has a huge citadel. I enjoy both but maybe you should wait.

Not when broadside! Alaska Citadel is tricky.

The Alaska always was by far the preferred choice in these threads. Now we know the Alaska is going, you really should grab her!

You don;t need the Alaska if you have the Alaska B. You could buy Agir or wait to see what comes next.

Spread them wide if you are firing at long range, these torps hit hard and most battleships are unable to manuever against them even when spotted. The goal at long range is to cause a flood and scare all The battleships into turning away, leaving their team unsupported.

They aren't especcially if you plan to buy Christmas containers. A Jean Bart Black in your port will not stop a standard Jean Bart appearing in one.

So Wargaming made it clearer on the news article but did not do so for the armory page. At least this means they are aware of the problem. Not everyone will spot the lack of a 'B' in the armory page. It's not fraud, it just could very easily be made clearer in the armory as they did in the news article. Puzzling why they do not do this....

It's not fraud but Wargaming should do better with their descriptions! SO many of these threads both here and in the NA forum. @Crysantos

Maybe with all these threads appearing every year, Wargaming should think about wording it more clearly. It’s fairly easy for some to miss that there is not a B in the mission requirements.

A lot of good info here. Massa is great but needs a secondary captain JB is probably a bit weaker tier-for-tier but still strong. It’s major weakness is 32mm armour everywhere. I’m sure you’ll be happy with either if you like battleships.

Oh, I did fairly well out of the bundles. 2,500 doubloons Atlanta black 2,500 doubloon mission 82,000 freeXP sone camos and special flags.

The bundles are decent value, even if you have all the standard ships.

Most people tend to use a fair bit of freeXP to earn research points: FreeXP to tier 5 then freeXP for the modules. People weren't using it as it's basically paying freeXP to get less freeXP while losing credits. Wargaming mentioned it was unpopular before they removed it.

Earned 2 million freeXP in two weeks thanks to the x200% mission and using almost all my special flags. I now have 4.4 million freeXP and might just have to buy the Smalland before it goes.

Why did Wargaming do something silly? Same answer as usual: to accommodate CV players.

Yesterday Wargaming sent two tweets: One was 'What would you spend 1,000,000 doubloons on?? The next was: 'Last chance to get ARP yamato before it leaves the store.' Wargaming is looking forward to a big christmas.
