Looks like a global supercruiser nerf. WG could have easily given them their 45s fires back to counter this. Perhaps the supercruisers did need a nerf? Why give Atlanta (much) more range and not the Flint when surely these ships were balanced against each other before? Secondary range buff is very interesting for Scharnhorst and Gneisenau and a big range buff for tier 10 ships Are we about to enter an age of all 7+ battleships being secondary builds? I like her but she should probably play as a torp boat. I have a gunboat captain on her as gunboat in both the Grozovoi and Khaba (though i never play Khaba!). She strong with her 5.6km detection and nice heal. She doesn't really have a weakness except for her poor gun dpm, you make up for this by dueling destroyers at a distance, taking advantage of the shell speed, and healing . She is strong but I'm pretty sure she isn't OP. The Coal price, especially now, is very high. Marceau is less than 200,000 coal with the coupon and is a tier 10. I probably wouldn't recommend buying it unless you have lots of surplus coal.

A bit of a necro but i'll just say that Stalingrad looks to be getting a pretty big nerf when the captain skill changes go live. A stationary Stalingrad might soon be the best target for pyromaniacs.

I’ve got ridiculous amounts of cost so I’ve been trying ‘try your luck’ containers. Last week I received 15k coal on one and 1.5k steel in another.

Firstly, don’t buy them just for ships. If you aren’t at least moderately happy with special flags. Secondly, you are paying roughly £17 per ship. If you are only missing a couple of rare tier 9 ships, buying some crates is absolutely worth it. If however, you are missing all the tier 6 ships in your inventory, you might be disappointed as you are far more likely to receive low tier ships rather than high tier. I believe they are some of the best value you can get for doubloons. In 2018 I more than doubled the money spent just in ship value while also receiving premium time, special flags, freeXP and doubloons.

The Guns are a lot better than you might think due to good arcs and SAP alpha. Hitting destroyers with 5K salvos is fairly common. It's smoke works very well to instantly disengage when you know you have someone else spotting your target. Your enemy is left exposed or forced to stop to stay in his smoke. I have at times been using it's Sansonetti enhanced range of 14.6km to full effect! I have used gun build as Paolo Emilio's torps are only really useful when using smoke. Torps reloading faster than your smoke is not actually very useful at all. That's probably the primary reason to go gun build.

These skip bombers currently do not need to skip so can be planted straight into a ship. I expect landing them will be fairly easy like that, just like rockets.

Buy it! It’s a very good ship and rather unique in the way it shoots around at 40 knots blapping broadsides with its accurate guns. It can even do a bit of brawling due to it’s secondaries. If you like battleships I would be very surprised if you regret your Georgia purchase. Also, coupons will refresh in a few days anyway.

Just saw a Marco Polo in game. Could be a replacement for the Jean Bart and Georgia.
