You let yourself get spotted in a Mino? Everything will shoot at you, every DD will ask them to and every battleship will overmatch you. I don't know how the radar Minos do it but this has always been the case. CVs do indeed ruin DD gameplay. It can be very frustrating. Pommern is not OP at all and Hizen looks plain bad to me, though I do not have it. As to the last statement, I don't think Wargaming knows what they are doing to their game.

Our German battleships will look dangerous with their 12.5km spray of secondaries. The Ocean is going to take a pounding while destroyer captains look on in awe.

My Musashi does 50x more damage than my Bismarck as I once got 315k in it but have got only 6k in my Bismarck when I potatoed. Your point is unsubstantiated as 6 battles is not close to enough to make such a judgment. Out of over 4 million battles, the Georgia out performs the Massachusetts for damage but underperforms it in win rate. This is exactly what I would expect and disproves your point of: “Massa performs much much much better than georgia.” I say again, try Georgia for 6 more battles, doubling your battle count, and play around its strengths and weaknesses. you may just enjoy it

Your account shows 91k average for the Massa. Very nice! 50k average for the Georgia. not 5x I notice also only 6 battles, a 400PR and not a single kill with your Georgia. Maybe you should try it again. Georgia has the most accurate guns of any battleship at tier 9.

Show me the evidence!!! Georgia is a very different ship to be honest. A flanking sniper, while the Massa is all about getting close and punching other ships in the face.

I just can’t see why anyone would spend 4 points in a 35% accuracy increase in secondaries. 60% improved accuracy was already a stretch. Wargaming seem to be overestimating the effect of secondaries still firing at untargetted ships. Perhaps in testing, they will realise what a secondary nerf this is. I doubt it!

Due to secondary skill changes, the Massa could soon be the best tier 8 secondary ship as it will hit at twice the rate of the Germans. Massa is tankier than Georgia due to its lower citadel. Massa is the best T8 battleship by stats. Its guns feel as accurate as the Germans but the 27mm overmatch is very useful. Massa has very good AA for a T8 battleship and a very good torpedo belt. One reason you may not need to buy it is that it is also a black ship so you may be able to get it next Black Friday. However, with the extra coupons coming it might be best to buy now.

She is also tiny with smoke. And most battleships cannot arm their shells on her broadside.

Now Flint is available for coal we will see more average players playing it. Right now Steel ships outperform others as the playerbase who earn lots of steel are usually of a higher quality.

It would be a nerf if I already had a secondary build on my Bourgogne. With the skill changes I can have more or less everything I have now, the tank build, plus 12.5km secondaries with 35% improved accuracy over the 8km seconaries I have now. My GK and Ohio are getting nerfed though.

Just wait for it to go to the ship section of the armory. You can then save yourself 70,000 coal.
