Nice test. So GK will be less effective than the Ohio even against a 32mm battleship which should favour the GK GK sec accuracy against battleship of 19% Ohio sec accuracy 30% same as current GK. Secondaries are certainly nerfed.

Rewards are poor now. I’ll go in and test a mechanic but a few flags is not worth the freeXP and coal I could earn on the main server. Wargaming complain about a lack of population in the test server but they only need to increase incentives. Throw a bit of steel around and they’ll be no one left on the main server!

This means he spent 60k doubloons since purchasing the crates. If he purchase crates with that he can make a ticket and support will join the two tickets together. If he bought ships with it than I would have to ask why he spent so many doubloons so fast. Looks like he's trying to be cheeky. It is annoying though having to maintain a certain amount of doubloons and signal flags when you have no idea how many while you wait for the refund

I think the CV problem is one of them having too large an affect in battle. You can win with an AFK battleship but probably not with an AFK CV.

I agree as secondaries even now are most useful against battleships and fires are very effective in that capacity. I don't acutally have IFHE on anything right now except my Kitakaze. Even for light cruisers I prefer fires

Z-35 actually has decent gun dpm but it's ruined by poor turret setup, turret angles and traverse. I don't have the Z-44 but I look at it and think the Yugumo is probably a better torp boat.

Does that mean you cannot add IFHE to them to increase their pen to 32mm?! It doesn't.

Here's a thought, would the ability to add treshing (IFHE) to 105mm german secondaries be more useful than the improved accuracy? If you were brawling a French or British battleship it might be.

I've seen this post but they made the same promise about the Atlanta during the AA and IFHE reworks. That said, I am still not super angry about the move as secondary ships will now also have concealment and fire prevention which now is not possible. I expect I would use the 10% main gun and secondary buff over the 35% improved dispersion anyway.

I really like Hood but so many don't Big health pool, decent armour when angled, improved heal with 60% normal damage repair. And for the Offence it has american cruiser ricochet angles. It was better with it's super DefAA (x2400 dmg!) and shorter fuse times but it is a strong ship.

The coupons that expire in 12 days are for doubloons, not coal.

You’ve got 6 months to think about it. I expect we’ll see at least 5 coal ships in that time, possibly lead by the Marco Polo. Don’t rush in to spending your coupon. I assume you have the Thunderer and Georgia?

And the T61 is much better than the z-39.

T8 Cruiser: Mainz/ Bayard DD: Kidd is still good. Loyang Battleship: Massa though Lenin’s guns are very very nice. T7 Mostly I would say don’t buy anything. Matchmaking is cruel to tier 7 and the armour and concealment differences between T8 and T7 make that very painful.

A lot more challenging than getting into rank 10 last time. Also, steel rewards look poor.

OP. You can throw money at the game if you want but it would really be best if you learn to play. You have only a few hundred battles so you should really take your time, watch videos and get closer to the 50% win rate before you even think about spending more money on this game.

I'll probably do the same. Other than that there is either Munchen or Belfast 43 for me. Both look subpar, Florida at least looks a little more interesting with it's mix of strengths and weaknesses.
