Friesland will be less affected by the skill rework. Agir will be on of the many supercruiser shaped fires. Both are good ships but Frieslands combination of hydro, smoke and dpm make it a fierce cap contestor.

I feel like I shouldn't recommend Thunderer to someone who doesn't yet have a tier ten but the ship is so good.

I quite like it. It’s reload booster can make it quite fun when these low tier cruisers Turn in front of you. When you face a sinop, you do realise that they have every advantage against you. Worth the grind as there is plenty of fun to be had but probably not worth buying outright. However, buy it now and receive the doubloon value on completion of the campaign. As well as using the 200xp mission and allowing much quicker access to the second campaign.

I was expecting 19,000 doubloons as that is the nominal value of a tier 9 premium. From Ichases Video I assumed he was getting compensation for the tier 9s as his doubloon total was going up. Overpens against cruiser broadsides at 4km is to be expected. Florida’s pen is quite good and shell speed is average. It’s shells do not have a higher propensity to overpen then other battleships. Amagi has a troll citadel at close range. I’m not surprised you missed it.

Indeed it’s plating is better than french and British battleships. Being overmatched my 380Mm guns is fairly normal at this tier. Only the citadel is a problem and not a terrible one if you stay angled at range.

Florida is very different to the main American Big Bertha line. It’s much quicker with much more accurate guns but has a far more exposed citadel.

Or I just hadn’t woken up! Florida is the most accurate battleship at tier 7 though, the only one with battlecruiser dispersion.
