geez^^ thx for the nice words... i guess, but I can not help but to point your attention to a "little" flaw in your..hum...though process there. the main qualification parameter would OBVIOUSLY be the overall random winrate of the account-not the one the player has in the mode (which would make no sense whatsoever) maybe with the addition of 1k minimum random battles. I can give you probably over 100 screenshots of player profiles ( and the battle result screens) i would very much prefer not to have to play against or with, because neither is fun. One is no challenge and the other is frustrating. And those are just the ones that were so bad, that i first though they are bots (enough of those around these days)

oh i was refering to the players ingame i know, of whom - a lot like myself - the biggest part does not visit this forum anymore, mostly due to friendly, welcoming and completely unbiased users like you Pete-buddy. I had the ingame impression for a while now and today I was bothered enough to come here and check for some info, just to realize that this is a fools errand, because literally nothing has changed in this wonderful forum. did anybody mention morality? Also daring is a gunboaty hybrid and not a stealthy torp boat. The entire purpose - as far as i understood it - of this threat is to maybe get a confirmation for something, that quite a few players experience ingame, of which is nothing to be found about in the patch notes, no? i have to add, that it is impressive how masterfully amnd utterly you missed the point with your comment .

Well, yes and no. Jinan does not exactly count as large caliber, but it will do as a nice example. Imagin yourself in a Daring getting plane spotted close to the cap, first salvo of the match comes in by a Jinan *poof* both Launchers destroyed. I mean that is as if a Schlieffen gets attacked by rocket planes and *zack* all secondaries gone. It should not be that easy tp perma destroy a cruicial part of the weaponry of any ship, really. And this happens quite often recently-more often then it used to and so often, that i actually noticed.

DD main here-same thing. I alrdy come up with wild theories about a hidden value change. It's baffling how often i end up with zero working torpedo launchers recently (since the last patch)

The problem with this ranked season is NOT, that they took away the "save ur star and play just for yourself instead ur team" mechanic - wich was a such bad idea when it was implemented,.it is T10. T10 is simply put un unballanced clusterfuck these days and whoever thought it's a good idea to allow cvs in general and the Naki in particular in such a small match frame, has either not played the game for quite a while.and/or just does not care about the epople who do. When you reduce a Tier, that evolves only in one direction since at least a year - moooaaar damage, moooar dakka, moooar everything - and is basically flooded with radar ships and idiotically strong cvs, to 6vs6, you get what we have now in this ranked season and it is an utter shitshow. Compared to the last T9 season, which is - as a stand allone - pretty ballanced tier (with less then a handfull exceptiions), this becomes blatantly obvious. The only positive thing i take away from this T10 season , is also a negative. In the matches in Gold whith purple+teal mm on both teams and no cv, people had actual fun. Close matches with a lot of attemps to trick and outplay the enemy and good teamplay with players, you never have played with before. When it is like that, even the outcome becomes somewhat irrelevant. This is negative, because i am wishing for a winrate based game mode without divisions for years. Even if it was only two categories it would help. So the under 50%ers and the players even WG refered to as "plain bad" can do their thing in peace without getting harrassed and terror -pinged by chatbanned wannabe pros with anger issues and the 50% + can do their thing in peace too (plus we would have to deal with said terror-pingers). win-win

Nope, in the replay i actually thought of saving, a Geearing rushes two Bbs around a corner oif an island. His first volley hits both the second just goes right throught the Conqq without doing anything. And as i said-i ve seen this at least three times now while watching a game after i got sunk. Do I have to? I stopped sending tickets to support at all, due to the mindblowingly none-helpfull nature of the responses. and why on earth should i do a wg-check, when i was watching a games end when i alrdy was dead and not involved in any action anymore?^^ But funny enough that was the point where i stopped sending tickets. Last time i added the WGcheck file to my FIRST ticket and the answer was "plz send us a WG check" you get my drift?

I've seen this a few times now since the update. Torpedos, that should have hit, just pass under a ship like it wasnt there (and no-those were not pan-asian^^) Also, wasn't that "you aim correctly but your shells go somewhere completely else"-bug supposed to be fixed?

nah-my games simply freezes and after a while i get the error message! Also i have no issues with any other game AND (as i said) it started with the the new driver^^ btw-got my answer from support - let me paraphrase "let me take you through the basic trouble shooting steps and if these don't work use WGcheck " this has to be automated^^ I

physix has nothing to do with it! There is (and never was) no way to completely disable PhysX in the drivers. All you could ever do was disable GPU PhysX, so it runs on the CPU, as it would if you didn't have a PhysX-capable card. Usually, this would result in a drop in performance, not a gain. PhysX is only software that runs the physics calulations on the GPU instead of on the CPU. Games still had to perform physics calculations before PhysX. They just did them on the CPU and still do, in most cases. Either a game supports it or not and switching it on, in a game, that doesnt support it should not have any effect (and wows IS a game that doesn't support Physix as far as i know, but i could be wrong on that) As i said-it work perfectly before the new driver and the Nvidia settings are the same - i actually made sure of that - this whole thing has nothing to do with any hardware or other software issues - it's the synergy, or the lack of it, between the Nvidia driver (the new one) and wows edit- now de-installing in safe-mode with DDU doesnt work anymore either^^

I don't see the point in even trying something like that, because it worked perfectly (no grafic errors, motion blurr or irregularities of any kind) with max settings before i installed the freaking driver and it worked perfectly fine with max settings after the de-and-reinstallation yesterday - so nothing in the settings should have anything to do with the issues!

Aaaaaand i was to hasty with my praise^^ So just now i was curious wether it would be still okay or act the same way like yesterday and decide to "be not good anymore" after the re-installation and restart of the game and guess what? Same issues today AGAIN \o/ so the 442 and the 445 driver version worked for exactly ONE session! Seems installing the newest Nvidia Driver just isnt something wows will let slide - "install it once and i will be sitting pouting in the corner, just you wait!now bugger off!" I am kinda lost now! sure i could de-install and re-install the driver in save-mode everytime before i play, but for some weird reason i got this crazy idea in my head, that games are not supposed to work like that! Anyway, im going for a bike ride now and wait for the wise people in customer-support to shower me with enlightenment, meaning and happiness Toodles

I have the software and didnt even think about it^^ I normally use CC cleaner to de-install So after de-installing the 442 drivers AGAIN with DDU and re-installing them instantly (since the 445 seems to have issues too) it seems to work. i am not really keen to try which is the newest driver i could use though, and i havent really found anything here on the subject, so I will see if it is stable and wait for some sort of official statement-ultimately it would ofc be nice being able to use the newest driver (especially since no other game had any problems with it)

yah, that's why i posted here since our problem and systems are similar (Nvidia RTX Card, new Drivers, same error message) And I am SURE the issues lie between Nvidia and WG since my problem started with the newest Driver 446,14 which launched two days ago on 2020.5.27 - i had NO issues before! The thing that irritates me is, that the older driver, that worked before, did only work for one day and now everytrhing seems to be fucked! But i am pretty sure the only answer by support will be-"have you tried a fresh installment of the game?" , because that is what they allways suggest! That WG check report must be strictly ornamental *shruggs*
