I’d say a general IJN BB 0.1-0.2 sigma buff to all is probably all that’s needed IMO, and Yamato gaining her historically accurate turning circle of 650-700m with improved rudder shift so I can torpbeat torps while other BBs can’t value suggestions(correct me if I’m wrong on the values): kongo: 1.9 from 1.7 Fuso: 1.6 from 1.5 or leave it alone nagato: 2.05-2.1 from 2.0 with 27mm Armor plate upgrade (also give it to col) amagi:1.8 from 1.6 or leave it alone Izumo: spin the third turret 180 and/or find a way to make her look better Yamato: 2.2 from 2.1 and buff turning circle to 650-700m with improved rudder shift As for the topic I say Yamato is the least forgiving ship for not a lot of gain, cheek weakspots and the largest BB citadel hit box in the game combined with IJN BB dispersion which makes close range shots less accurate then others means you are more likely to stay further away from the caps then something like NC or Iowa. However I’d also say that if your team can breath and think and the same time and provide proper support for you and one another, it’s also means that she’s at her strongest, since I have a firm believe that BBs are team force multipliers, Yamato is one of the best at doing with only kemlin beating it because Kremlin BALANS, mainly because her 32mm overmatch in a coherent team is significantly more dangerous to the boats on the wrong end. This Also explains of the reason why her win rate is slightly lower then average is the serious lack of people who can think and breathe at the same time, plus Kremlin does the job of obliterating cruisers better with its higher velocity and more accurate at close range 457s(for refence, Yamato, or more accurately all IJN BB dispersion does not scale as well in close ranges compared to other BB) so unless crusiers get 32mm plating for some reason, kermlin is the better choice. But 32mm overmatch means you can rape RN and french BBs all day

Let’s see kongo is more of a Uber large cruiser these days Fuso is still spicy with 12 gun side(don’t run into any izamals tho) and exellent armor scheme vs HE Nagato has been powercept to oblivion (feel that it’s unplayable since sinop came, but if there is no sniop around it still usable) amagi is still decent with its excellent broadside weight at t8 Izumo is no longer as terrible in stats vs before, but still looks hideous yamato: so in terms of turds nagato is only really the only one, but If you can get a good nari group it is decent

One example: yamato: on paper she was to go 30 knots, but she was built and in speed trails only reached 27 knots(ish) kermlin: much bigger then Yamato, not built, goes 30 knots cause napkin says so

I see. much balans. i seriously thought we are when i saw the massive armor column forming around A. Then I remembered I have torps on yoshino, so fired them into the choke where they were gathering. managed to get 2 confirmed hits, but more importantly, split their armor column into more manageable chunks. then all of them were basically farmed, and the gozoi decided the best thing he could do is to sit in smoke while I advanced towards him.

well.....this happened. both of our DDs died immediately at the start(absolutely no idea what happend, was putting in all of my effort to not get blapped by BBs), and we were unable to get any caps at all. this is the state of the game around 7 mins: also that Des moines was flaming the BBs, before he called me a "barbie doll guy". weird thing is that I was playing wows after sorting out the storage, and actually found a barbie doll in there. turns out it was my mother's in 1985 something, so how did know about that I have no idea. anyway what happened in the end? we won. also it is only now I realised that the midway guy is no other then CV god himself, @El2aZeR. WG smolesk weak. Plz give it missiles seriously since WG goes by data to balance boats, if smol ends up with 45% w8 they probably give it the IJN 100mm treatment, in other words they can now pen 32mm plates.

I’m sure it doesn’t make a difference if you finish the ops with 2 ships in Davy Jones’s locker or melt the harbour enemies faster, well melting the harbour enemies means more damage=more goodies, so it works as intended, but finishing with ships down should not make a difference to the XP, the only difference it will make is that the player who is blown up will not be able to earn any more goodies. if you are referring to repair cost they have been using fixed ones since a while back, so it does not matter if you finish dead or full HP. anyway sinop is BALANS in this op, it’s also the only place where I can use nagato these days due to crazy amount of powercreep. the most I have seen is right at the start, where there is a DD, cruiser and a Wyoming. One point somehow our DD and our cruiser eat all of the torps that I have spotted AND DOGED in my big fat stupid BB, and no, they were not trying to body block the transports, they were actively evading as well. What’s even more brilliant they said I was a idiot for not tanking damage.
