The solution is simple: give CV anti-submarine drops, and make PING knock off the auto-repair. They can fight eachother. Seriously I'd a happily trade the rockets for ASW on a CV, it would be much fun to hunt subs.

..until you are close, because when he launches the planes he cannot attack immediately. He first has to fly them out, then line them up, then drop. At around 5km... it is harder for him. Can't send planes right off the deck. It is worse if he launches TOWARDS you, then he has to "fly around" first.

Yeah you did good, as is to be expected! I got my self in a bit too busy stuff... When you dropped torps before I managed to avoid them easily, the last time not so much... However my teammate killed off your Chumphon that went to our cap. The poor B'stard never had a chance. Indeed your teammates went to your CV... result: your CVs were killed. Ours weren't. So.... even if they were taters... Doubtful if they could have killed the Chumphon if my mate had not gone back though.

Today I saw @T0byJug in a battle, forgot to take a snip. Later on I saw @Muppeteer in a test ship, well he killed me off too (warned my teammate about the CV player), but we managed to farm his team harder so we won (man they were really bad, feel sorry for ya). If he hadn't killed me off I'd have gone wayy over 100K. My divvy did... BTW the torps on Hornet are kinda slow... I could even out-accelerate them first drop you got on me. Oh and that chumphon is quite nice, a Flint with DW torps and reload booster, and longer range... LOL... naaaha its mnot OP at all..

Nah man. Once the trickery starts it is really easy to make up more BS. I can do it myself in 15 minutes, no problem. It is already half-done anyway since they used to have 10 tiers.

That is true, because they were in real life. France (and some other countries) never quite managed to "get ready" for WW2, Germany got kinda stuck. The Brits had many older battleships and cruisers, which they sent vs those that were "lagging behind" a bit. But you could fill them nevertheless. Something like Queen Elizabeth would be a T8 in the end, but a T5 when she was built. You'd have sister-ships (Barham...) that would be a T5. Then some that would be T6, Warspite at T7 and Queen E at T8 or something. The other thing is you'd start lower - with the Battle of Tsushima at T2, the pre-dreadnoughts. And then T1 would be a the tumblehome BBs.

Which is why I think all post-war (napkin) bubkus should be T11 or T12. I do not mind "superships", but at least they should not see historic ships. IMO T9/10 should be Musashi-Yamato, Bismarck-Tirpitz, Nelson/KGV(+Vanguard?) and Iowa. Of course they'd have to "fix up some parameters". But hey, we've seen them do that before.

Will report on the "super CVs" when I get them (if...I am not exactly trying for those ships, I'd rather have coal...). So far (playing against them) they do not impress me much. Must be a lot of non-CV players trying them though.

This doesn't mean anything though. They nerfed XP gains by damage, and so on. If they nerfed everything for CVs then they would end dead last anyway, no matter if they killed half the team. And then they'll say "CV is not broken and not OP at all". Because spreadsheet.

This. I am an average, mildly savvy CV-player. If you are not a happy snack, then I'll find another happy snack. If you are a DD that is zig-zagging, smoking up, wasting my time... you're left alone. If you are one sitting in a cap, trying to torp my friends... you are a snack. Same if you are a CA or BB. And if I cannot get you, but you are a threat, I will get my friends to shoot you. Same as other ship types. If I'm in a BB, forget that CA that is kiting away, dodging and angling. I'll have the one that thinks he is safe, sitting behind an island, rep[ositioning so I can have his broadside and blap him. If I'm in a CA, forget that BB that is moving, changing his speed and direction. I'll burn down the one that is "bowtanking", just sitting there, and thinks he can get away with it. If I'm in a DD (not very often..) I'll go after that fat BB that is alone, no cruisers around, parked up or sailing in a straight line... Don't be a snack. And if you are a snack, try to be a not-so-tasty one. BTW if I cannot find a tasty snack, then your CV will possibly be the snack. If he is sitting where he spawned, not moving, and my friends can reach him... Yummie! There is no better dominance of the match than to crap on the red CV. Also, because I do play CV (all of them...) I know how to make myself a quite sour snack... I'll taste filthy and he better chew on something else.

Well, I never used any mods either, and I am also experiencing the loading screen to be DOUBLE the time. Also... sometimes it gets a hefty hefty stutter. A few at a time, and it happens randomly. Then I see the ping also go waaayyyy up. 2 seconds later, it is fine again.
