Well. considering there are no T5 CVs if you div up with T5 you'll see T6. Even T7, still LOL at that tier (if you have US/RN, can't say for IJN). Uhhh... there is a LARGE difference between New Mexico, Arizona and West Virginia, IMO. The differences are tough AA, reasonable and definately crap (worse than most T5). Airplane kills are below Arizona - right above Mutso and Normandie... how many 'killed by airplane' is unknown. A lot slower than both Mutsu and Normandie (I dunno why Normandie is lowest BTW)... and a far bigger piñata. Agreed on that, but I must point out that "knowing positioning"is far above average (as in: I am definately quite average...). FOR YOU both WV and PEF might be viable option... not for me... => ALSO: WV is my favourite CV food... basically it is a slightly nerfed Lolorado with crap AA. I can't make anything useful out of the Lolorado but that's probably me - so maybe others do well in WV. But I'm quite sure I'll not... I just like to eat them... even in a T4 CV... oh yummie... sorry... I think best choice T8. It's the one I'd get if T8 had Operations and WG would do an Italian tech tree. As is now - Warspite or something else T5/6/7. Probably get nothing gold and just get some coal ship, and a steel ship after. And those will either be T10 to support my clan or T5/6/7 for fun.

I met @Rusty_9 yesterday while in my Furry-ous, in the end my potatoes were less worse than his potatoes. He had the bad luck of being in a König... my favourite CV food, and meeting the Graf Spee and a fat BB after that... I wanted to harass him some more but didn't get to it. 39k only for me... after that I had to plunder a Russian Coalboat, as the Bayern was already dead, and in the end I even had to resort to a cruiser and finally the red CV. BTW that Gnevny had AA specced, gave a helluva lot of sparks. Couldn't get near him.

I remember that one, I was pretty much screwed - as all other ships were sort of AA- heavy. The few that were not, got blapped pretty soon. So I d killed a DD and pestered some others that was about it. Meh. What do you do then.,,, yeah right, spot. Went as expected... Sorry I didn't recognise you.

It's good enough, though in langley I had a hard time clubbing a West Virginia to death... Mind the thing has no AA, is as large as an island, and is just about as fast. Oh also remember you have no karma anyway and cat cannot really hurt you and they do not know where you live. I think they've done a good job with T4CV. Wish they'd do just as well with other stuff. I think some do... Agreed. But also some players ARE learning to co-operate. Partly agreed, T CV is IMO quite balanced - but the removing of uneven tiers is really really TUPSID. Yes that spells 'tupsid' because it is so backwardly stupid, even DIPUTS deosn't cut it, really.

Oh we did that lots of times. T4 CV can be almost as good as T6, except damage output. T6 however is really not a T8... not by a long shot. They should bring back T3/5/7/9.

ROFL. Yes it is possible to get a drop on anything, however why that div succeeded is beyond me. T4+T7 is not possible to hit 'START'... so... how did they do it? But... we often do T6CV+T7ships, because there is no T7 CV. Or T4CV+T5. EDIT: oh arrghh... wait... Lyon... not Lion.

More OP carrier stuff, look co-op with T4 44K... watch the replay, it's funny. Me and division of clan going full nuts, clubbing bots. One of the BB-bots (KAISER) discovered my CV, but I killed him anyway. Teammates said T4 CV couldn't do it but did it anyway hahahahah! I wonder if you'll ever be, in co-op with CV. Usually the bots get killed so fast you can't 'harvest properly'. I find it best to take something fast that has good dakka and smoke. For example, take Fiji, run forward, kill the DD that comes first, smoke up and shoot everything in sight. Torp anything that comes close enough. Once you are past the BBs you can just farm from the rear. Seems to me bots do not recognise any threats coming from the other way than ahead.

We do not know what they run, but if you make "smart AI'they sure are a challenge - they keep on coming. However there's nothing mysterious about it, if you play it smart you can still win. They will put out a single fire right away, and go broadside ignoring some ships while chasing others. T5 vs T10 is still enough of a challenge though...

You can even set up a training room for yourself and invite others, to play WITH or AGAINST. We do that sometimes - you can ALSO make it a "surprise" for them, if you like, what ships are on the other side. Last time my div-mate made one, we all had T5 and he put us up against 'super smart' T10 bots...

I think this is too low though. Now it promotes just having clans with active members. If you have a large clan, well, you'll win most of the time. I mean, 80k... I do that in a T6 CV, in a T8 game - and I'm a potato.

Why would he care, karma doesn't deliver anything. Not that he'll have any karma: he plays a CV... You are correct oh great master. However he DOES have a clue. That is correct. If he comes for you, he becomes prime target. THE THING IS: if such as you say is the case, then you have a POTATO team. I would, too. Because those DDs can be dealt with better by your cruisers. FAR better than you can do it. Ehh... that is: IF they are at least half decent. Correct. But YOUR fault, oh great CV masterrrr, is that you assume your team to be half-decent. Now don't get at eachothers throat. The way to do best is indeed to focus on the BBs. This usually does the most damage to the reds. But that USUALLY depends if you have a somewhat decent team, and also depends on the sort of ships. Say if you get 5 DDs, 5 CLs, 1 BB and a CV --> kill that BB and then kill the DDs. Or first kill the DDs and then the BB. I wish I was half as good... Depends HOW inexperienced... main thing is you need to know which BBs you can, and which ones you CANNOT take... start with the lower tier ones. SayT6 CV, T5/6 US BB, forget it - except West Virginia... after they have burned a bit, they're good food. Except Texas. That's inedible. Frenchies are sort of OK... mind from which side you come though because their AA seems to shift QUITE a lot. IJN BB... nagato and up are deadly Wasabi. Germans are sort of wishy-washy, steer clear from PEF though unless pre-roasted. UK, anything upto T6, especially Warspite tastes good - but watch out for AA-specced QE. It takes some experience knowing which ship is most vulnerable at what point, but far more easy than hunting DDs. And rewarding... set a König on fire... wait until he uses damcon... 20 secs later, HE bomb 3 fires on him.
