Didn't notice you (sorry...) but I had quite a few Epicentres yesterday. Indeed the USA-points, usually I'd take Furious and now Ranger. And most were awful indeed, until we got a 3-man DVR division (CV, DD and AA cruiser...) and then we wrecked them all. (I suppose they were awful for the reds then harharhar).

Doubting a bit... I just CITADELLED a Sinop using HE bombs from T6 Ranger... So... I have IFHE on it... didn't have a captain on Ranger so dragged Ovechkin from a cruiser. Normal?

Well... I'll try anyway when the free respec comes along. On KGV I found IFHE surprisingly helpful. I think it is because there IS a difference between fire chance of pen vs shatter. Of course that might be 100% confirmation bias. Might be worth it for the rockets if you use them. On USA CVs I do not use them at all. But on RN CVs sometimes useful.

I don't think it will be bad for me... I like the lower tier CVs, and especially those with biplanes. As they are OP as hell anyway... I'm sure this one will be entertaining Note (compared to Furious): 50% more rocket planes @ almost 40% faster regeneration; 50% more torps per attack (1 less attack, but those always die anyway) @10% faster regeneration; and 50% more bombs PLUS one more attack on bombers... and almost TWICE the regeneration speed. I'm quite sure even T8 will be funny. Bismarck here we go!

When the Clan Battle starts there is usually a period of free cpt reskills. Use it wisely... I always grind captains and give them whatever skill, then re-skill them when the freebie comes. As for captains: I have one 19pt and he is on Hood, I also used him on the 'current grind' silver tech tree BBs (and now have Conqkek). Since I also use him on Exeter... he gets plenty captain XP. Can only say, use FLAGS/CAMO to get a 19pointer ASAP. Choose to use him on your most favourite ship(s) and he'll just about crap free cpt XP. (and those I use to train/put captains on my fav ships, like Queen E, Leander and Fiji). They should... how else do we get greatness like CV rework and Russian paper BBs. I'll get Ark Royal, and hope next drinking binge produces submarines...

Do you know 'on the first day of christmas'... sing along: Weekend I was in Conqkek and heyhey what do I see, 20km Yamato and a Currywurst both broadsiding me. One Iowa shooting one Henry farming one Edinburgh And AP Conqkek getting first blood easileeeeeeey... (3 cits on Yamato hot damn). Planes do spot ships a bit far away, sometimes they KEEP broadsiding... can't resist...

IMO they are not, but the problem is that ANY ship can be OP depending on what you get on the other team. The problem is, they are NOT a counter to themself... so if you get 3 Russian BBs one side and 3 on the other... well... I played a few games this weekend we had 2 Conqkeks and an Iowa, and the reds had 3 Russian BBs... Well they're not OP then, eh.

Might be so, but Enterprise has a lot more of them. So... Depending on what you do with your planes a bit. But the differences are there - Enterprise can attack a Lexington, since it has more planes that the Lexi defence. And it can also kill off a planted fighter protection from Lexi, while not vice-versa. I always am quite careful and never use the rocketplanes. Those seem to be better in Enterprise... but I wouldn't know.

I can still slam it with Lexi at the cost of only 3 planes... and it does burn nicely. I'm sure the "potato attraction factor" plays a role here. Sure a Sinop is a CV-Piñata, doesn't mean all Sovjet BBs are. Well I guess it will take a bit longer before they learn (if ever).

I'd say they can. Probably wouldn't buy it... as it is useless for grinding RN CLs. Then again maybe for operations it is nice. Yes do. AND concealment... I recommend spam HE at everything except: - broadside cruisers - grab them for that AP citadel (or 3-in-one-go); - BBs that have already been roasted to a crisp. Spam AP at their superstructure/bow/stern. The funny thing is I'm quite good with Omaha and then I suck with Murmansk Meh. I'm just average, with some ships that I like (and vs red potatoes, well yes,then I can be OP). The problem is I am not sure if I know how to play cruisers. Upto T5/6 I'm quite OK with them and after that it all turns into crap.

The trick is most people do not know it doesn't have torps... I have "rushed" (hahaha at 20kts) plenty in a big fat Queen E or US BB. Usually a ship is not OP, but heavily depending on what the red team gets. For example, give me a Furious (rather meh) and then give the reds 3x Sinop and a West Virginia... Oh man now that Fi urious is suddenly QUITE OP as I'll have no trouble killing them all.

I have it.... what it has is better torps. The range... well you will not hit anything at that range And all it will do (if you ever hit something) is shatter and MAYBE cause a fire. Go for the captain, the ship is on sale for cheap plenty often.

Sometimes I see the shells go, ad then I go WHAAAATTTTT.... Which is why 12x throwing sh... on the wall is better than 8. Besides, you set fire to everything anyway and the pen is already plenty. This weekend plenty broadsiding Currywursts and Yamatoes. BOOM BOOM. Just remember it shoots AP too. I have whole matches where I play 1 salvo HE and the rest AP.
