I like the troll of the stealth build a lot. Must try it though when I have it. Might actually make sense. Did put the mega-heal (Damage Control Party Modification 1) in slot 1 though, and the rudder shift and all that. It's plenty strong, just needs longer games.

I love my Exeter though. Didn't grind any of the other ships, as I knew they wouldn't fit me. Most of the limitations of the ships you named were well-known. So, you only grind for them if: 1. You like that ship or think it will suit you; 2. You just happen to like grinding and want the "trophy ship"; 3. ...are short of port slots... Freemiums are freemiums, either you like them or just don't pick 'em up. It's like girlfriends, some are more hassle than they are worth and end up being annoying and costing lots of credits.

It would be fun, I'll probably drag down your WR though. And I have a tendency to play CV...

Well I just got Salem so will be a while before I'll spend coal again, and not much interesting in arsenal anyway... but indeed coal is a thing. The other events had more interesting stuff though: weekend premium time, and such. But I guess, to each his own.

Some 'events' are actually worth it, depending if you like the ship(s) or not. I didn't like the Russian BBs, nevertheless you could grind a Murmansk or a captain or get something worthwhile. This one... well.. as I'm not any good with DDs these certainly would be a challenge, so no. And IMO there's nothing worthwhile this time.

I got plenty advice, the problem is usually me getting greedy or potato. Like "Oh wait let me just... "---> BOOOMMMM.... yeah should have looked what that red BB guy was doing... Or doing this 'great push' ....and then finding out all the other ones have sunk...

You can also read them in chat... What I usually do is stick my BB in the outer circle, making sure I have an island between me and the enemy. I've even done it with a CV. But... I do have a RELIABLE teammate in a DD. He often gets a few kills because the other DDs come for that juicy fat one. Some of them are... because some people are. But somehow they think the rest doesn't know where the favourite HE-spam spots behind islands are. We did... saved our DDs... won.

I enjoy it in Conqkek. Too bad I can't see the look on their faces when I turn up somewhere in the middle and blap 'em. Yeah sometimes they send me a face full of torpedoes, but since I expect that... I usually avoid them... or use the heal. This game mode is kinda troll-mode for me, I always have a good laugh.

I'll raise you a box of 500 ramming flags and up to 100€. Could be. But so is Exeter... and Dreadnought. Hmm. I bet I'll still be LMAO.

I'd like to see many more maps or better designed maps for all. That's why I like epicentre... campers will not win it.

They might make a campaign out of it. No telling what they'll do. Look at Exeter, Dreadnought... I'm not sure at all what they'll do. Well, I might buy it if it's no too expensive. I still like CVs. Right after rework you could just about troll everything, and it was too easy. Let's see what they do now. Since it will be a premium, at least it will not get nerfed. It will suffer the same fate as the rest of CVs though. But I'm not gonna spend more than I'd spend on a complete premium game for it. Because what they see is what they sell? The forum represents 2% of the playerbase.

I'll probably get Flint sometime, it is the only one I am interested in. I have Salem and some, but T8/9/X gameplay is just mega-meh. For now keeping the steel maybe they decide Ark Royal to be steel or whatever.

I had one with Conqkek ~3 minutes. Shot 4 salvoes, all hit, all DCP'd... < 15k damage. Since then I went "F this sh!t" and load AP. HE and DoT? DUUUUHHHHH!!! I'm quite sure there are even shorter games possible. 5 minute games are quite regular IMO. Some end because my team or the other has ZERO POINTS. How? Easy: one team takes all the caps, the other team loses a bunch of ships, then hides in corner. Done.

We do NEED cannonfodder. I don't mind 40%ers. Problem is when you get more of them than the reds. And the next game... and the next... and the next... Exactly.

Probably he just parked it in the middle of the cap and that's it. BTW I know that Yue-Yang player. Somewhere this week I met him and he sent depth torpedoes at my DD... Maybe he likes eating torpedoes.

Another option: maybe he didn't give a flying F anymore... 5.4km is not much, how much time does it take you to get to him? I'll have a look. It doesn't take much to get deplaned though. Also, when his planes are "doing something else" you'll not see them on deck. You only se them spawn at the moment when they take off.

You mean the CV that you killed? A Langley is slow AF, and it steers ff-ing slower than slow. Also, he may have thought you were dead or elsewhere. Yes he gets a notice "CV spotted". But unless he looks at the Minimap when YOU are spotted... or returns from his planes to the CV... So why is that amazing you killed him? He doesn;t have to potato or be AFK for that to happen. Hell I even had it happen in Langley when I was FULLY AWARE there was a DD coming for me. RUN RUN RUN.... !!!! Oh wait...

Same thing if you need to re-mount the flags.... We had some games that I modded, with a group of other guys. It was a racing game and we modified new tracks, new cars and cars + tracks from other games in it. In the end we even modded our own new tracks and cars from scratch. Also re-done the user interface. The thing is, once you have such things happening it means lots of other things can get modded, too. That may be a good thing or a bad thing - depending on the one that mods it and the ones using it.
