Uhhh... if you're any good, you can do MUCH MORE damage with Ark Royal than any other T6 CV. Same about Kaga. Ah well... But actually, yes I'd prefer to have a German CV with Stukas. Even if they are slow. It would be quite funny to have them slow. Then give 'em high accuracy and see what happens. You can alwasy BALANZ by giving them more or less planes, or damage. Or whatever. The thing is, WG cannot just re-spec or chance anything Premium. It leads to crapstorms. Sure they could make a "new Version" and call it Peter Strasser. That was the planned name for the sister ship. However... the Germans never had anything really for CVs. Therefore "there can be only one". And since they stuffed it up...

@Inappropriate_noob see this is what I mean... On that map, you can either sit behind the island or flee to corner. What I sometimes do is go into the channel... seems to be the safest way LOL. Everybody and his dog knows you are behind that island. Well OK... not always hide in the channel... And then you have a team that just melts... and the rest goes on a lemming train. THIS happens:

Self-knowledge is the start of true wisdom, young padawan. I suck as well but I have been paying attention to what master @El2aZeR is teaching. I still cannot carry the whole bag of potatoes in Ark Royal but not too far off. In division with some clanmates I get "perfect winrate" even on weekends... but they're actually pretty decent. On my own I'm sort of depending on what the team does - if it is a ROFLSTOMP (win or lose) = low damage. I'll do that 50k in 10 minutes though no problem. Problem is: will you get 10 minutes before it's all over? I do not have OP E, too bad. So that's with The Mighty Ark. Lexi is less dependent, but I need to practise a bit more in that one.

Oh I do know some indecent clams too, I'd rather prefer them to decent ones. Although you are right the voice coms are annoying. Better they shut up.

The problem isn't that you cannot hit anything (except the AP bombs). The problem with that thing is the flimsy planes. It is, depending on circumstances it can be even much better. No ships outruns the planes... though sometimes feels like it. The challenge is to keep up the average, even if you get crappy games. So far I'm not doing too well on that, really. I can do 100K+, and on a mediocre game I get 50-80k. It is the crappy ones that keep me down, slow planes and not enough time. But I'll learn... Much more speed. Though it will probably not be better than Enterprise. And yes I also think the torps suck - but you do get a lot more of them. Enterprise is just too OP. Since they cannot nerf premiums... they took it away. Kaga should be plenty good though, once you learn to avoid FLAK.

Well, sometimes ships are kinda crap - and it is a matter of gitgud or stay crap. I got Ark Royal, so now I have to git gud... and... did anyone say Implacable? I guess it is same with Graf Zep, only worse. There ARE ACTUALLY players that do good with it. You'll just have to get "that kind of good", somehow. It's a challenge.

Im might get it if they gave it a proper loadout. And then I mean mostly: Stukas with Jericho sirens.

I think Enterprise is better, because you're not that dependent on "longer running games". I sure can do 100k, but not when the game lasts 7 minutes (or sometimes even less). T8 IJN looks promising though. Depends how much of a buff you feel a splash of black paint is...

I'll most likely be playing CV... we already know how that ends... (it's T8... leaves me the options for Edinburgh, North Carolina... or a CV).

Oh but they are, usually they are defenceless AFK and get shot up by the enemy. I wish WG would make them "green" so at least we could harvest their points for the team. Same as "pink"... please WG make them GREEN as in WoT!

That's true... which is why I prefer the light cruisers... 5 sec reload anyone? But nimble is not just the braking... also the steering, and the acceleration. Because their armour is same - exactly enough to arm AP... I doubt if you are the worst potato floating around in ranked (because that would be me, most likely ). Amongst the ranked I think you'll do fine. Last time I thought "bugger this" and didn't do it. It's only worth it if you have fun - or if the reward is big enough. Sometimes it has to be really big...

Ah, like that. I considered Stalingrad but: - it will take me much much longer... - Tried Moskva (as a rental), hated it... (and Zao didn't please me much better). Liked Hindy though. -... I suppose I'll not like Stalingrad much either, as I like nimble ship (or else, give me a fat BB... I like them too); - I'll have a Smoll to use as captain trainer, and will reach Moskva sooner or later... then I can use that if needed (and hate it). Helena almost finished here, and no US CA researched... DM is however one of the best. I think the difference is mainly the guns though, both lines are flimsy as paper. Also, I have a Salem... liking it, my LIDL/ALDI Des Moines... (and Exeter isn't bad either). However I do not have time to research them all.

If you like a ship, get it - because that is the reason why we play a game. I'm currently not liking any of the coal ships much at all. But... don't wanna miss out on the most OP thing they "sold" in a long time. Besides that, how about "all Smolly" in CB... harharhar! Besides that... I sort of like light cruisers (aside from BBs). You can't pay in dubloons for it anyway, I think. I'm tempted to get that one, too. But... I'll get myself a Flint I guess, I like light cruisers. Same thing I went for Worcester instead of Des Moines. And Minotaur...
