112. I suppose I cannot get a CV then? (no really sometimes I play BBs, never DD, so just surprise me). If allowed: make it a surprise for my divvy who always plays his DD with my CV. And yes then it would be KIDD. So, a Kidd for my kid, if possible. Of course I win nothing but happy holidays nevertheless & good incentive.

That is what I do with it, I follow DDs to cap, AP-blap some cruisers and deal lots of damage, and get shot up. Usually I am already turned out before I shoot, and have picked an island where to disappear. Then I heal up, spamming a bit of HE, and do the same again. In CB I like to go flanking and shoot AP. I fail to see where the Thunderer is actually better than some other ships, like Russian Bias. IMO it is a completely different ship. Doubting what would be more useful in CB, too.

Well there is such a thing as "torpedo belt"which reduces the damage that a ship takes. Depending on what ship it might be a LOT of reduction. Not on Conqkek though. However... he can fix your flood and fires and heal them all back, too.

Yes, yesterday I had several rocket strikes over 10K. In Lexington. Never happened before so either they buffed it or I got "better". Must say those were stupidos that kept on going in a straight line. Perfect hits. My skin is all wrinkled up now. I had to shower about 5 times after those games.

Well actually that is still the same except some CVs (where even a potato cannot deplete squadrons). I can deplete squads myself, Lexi in a T10 game can, yesterday I didn't have full squads in the end. But... 100k dmg, 3 kills, and my div-mate had a kraken - our team was potatoeing like.... yeah. And the difference: I could not OUTRIGHT KILL anything. RTS CVs could. They'd wipe stuff, if they were any good. Whole BBs... BOOMSHANKA. Now the only ones who can "wipe"ships are guys like Masterrrr @El2aZeR in Enty. I doubt if even Masterrrr would be able to do it in GZ or Implacable...

I certainly agree they nee lots more rework. However - there are (a few) good points to it. I don't think it is worse than the RTS, but also only marginally better. Say 1%. Or something.

Yes that is why I usually take them "front-to-back". I'm only as far as Ryujo though.

So yes then. It would be an equaliser that made both potatoes and unicums do better. After all with super RNGesus shouldn't matter if you are potato or unicum... I never expected them to work from side. Actually in Ryujo I try like nuts to bomb exactly "in line" with the ships.

I always like the salt, too. Actually the purpose is to outplay the other CV and support your team. Although, looks more like "dragging your team across to the point where they can no longer throw it"...

Might be they are testing different variants. If they are sensible, they WILL test every option. Then they will test what they think will be the final play, and after that balance it. But... well... eeehmm... I think it was you and me that had some great ideas more than a year ago. -

Yes I like it as well. My thing is to play it as a supercruiser. Load the AP and follow DDs to cap. You have got better concealment than some... BLAP a cruiser, then get away... heal up... do it again... Oh and it is excellent if you have a DD divmate. Hunt Smollies and Klebers. That is what the HE is for, you can just one-shot them no matter what the angle or whatever.

ANY ship should be able to sinks ANY other ship. So subs not being able to sink another sub, well no. They SHOULD BE, however difficult or highly unlikely. I have sunk CVs with other CVs, for example. Other CVs sunk me, DD, BB or CL/CA. And I can sink them TOO. Granted sometimes it takes me a while or is damn difficult, but I can. -

I think he's a nice guy. But salty when it is needed... I can appreciate that. He is right, the CV-rework is definitely flawed. If they had listened to the players they could have done a much better job IMO. Also, the stuff that has been done to the "new style"CVs could have been done to the old RTS version as well. So there is actually TWO reasons for the rework. IMO they first one, from RTS to "more gamy visuals" (PS4 version some say..) succeeded 100%. Opinions may vary on that though, aside from losing the challenge of controlling multiple squads and basically a dumbing-down of the whole thing (which is a fact). But the rest of it, @El2aZeR is 100% correct, they changed something that was quite flawed and OP to something that is just as flawed and OP. Yes now it is flawed in a different way but a good CV will still outplay a bad CV - just the mechanic that does it is automated as well (FLAK... eat it or crap on it). For example even a mediocre CV player like me will be able to kill a whole team... given time and enough map space, I certainly can.

He must have thought you weren't worth the trouble... also he doesn't spill many planes. This one I met him on the reds when I was in my Lexi... Note, I killed 20 planes and he killed 29. Yes tried to get him... Hahaha no. This one my division meets him, we tried but no cigar. No plane kills for me. He must have taken pity.

The thing is: - first you have to invent some interesting gameplay; - means you have to find a way to make subs DO damage, but also a COUNTER that is "interesting"; - after making that work, you have to balance it. This is not a 1-2-3- hey presto thingy (as we have found out in the CV Reeeeework).
