Wel.. there is (literally) two sides to that. The question is which side fails the hardest.

I think that is good. It promotes teamplay. Those that do not, will not accomplish anything and/or sink fast.

Yeah if I had streamed it, that was hilarious indeed. I gave him a +1 karma, to go with the 1HP. You should get in tonight with some clanmates. We did 2+2 divisionand clicked in at same moment. Man that was hilarious, we ended up same but also on different team. In which case we tried to sink them first, of course. HILARIOUS! If I get an even weirder one I'll upload it as well. Ark Royal is better killing subs. -
UUUUAAARARARGHHHHH I killed one full blap with Arizona and two with Queen E (one at 18km... hehehheheh). Damaged a bunch and with cruisers it is also possible. With CV too. IMO though the problem is they do not HAVE TO surface. The air-depletion thing was much better. Full surface to refresh air, unless they have snorkel. Would be much better if they had to surface, low tiers = completely. Then the higher tiers could have a snorkel and replenish at periscope depth (but this would be slower). Say 25% speed at T8 and 50% at T10.

True. You must run. But it is similar to a DD being attacked by a CV, he must run to buddies for AA cover. Solution: DDs need more AA (like the higher tier EU DDs), BBs need ASW planes or something. Many BBs had hydro/asdic and waterbombs.

I think CVs need ASW planes (change the rockets... or make it a choice). CVs already can attack eachother. I often do, when they are the best target. However detecting them and give BBs something to do is better. -

I think same. WG might have something good here. Now watch if they don't stuff it up. For CVs this is already visible. Subs will go for the CV, there is no hiding behind island anymore. -

CVs are quite useful. here's a game where I trolled some subs in a cap. In Ryujo. I wonder what Masterrrrr @El2aZeR thinks of my torp skilzzz. True it needs some stuff changed. I tried them on the test server, and I don't like them much. But indeed... DDs go at them like shark-attack. As in real life... Well new task for cruisers, too: protect your sub. Shoot DDs! -
Still a bit unfair, Leander has no HE and can do quite a bit less damage then.

I did not dare play Nurby as it is enormously blappable. Played Leander and Dallas before on test server. I thought all light cruisers would get the waterbombs. Yeah I thought De Grasse was a heavy as it has no waterbombs. Would be LOL if it had them and the hydro... As in, it is quite a lot stronger compared to.... well... Nurby, Dallas, Leander... My bad!

I played London and De Grasse, about 4 games each. Farmed some DDs (some of them seem players to me that have no experience playing dd though). When a sub surfaces you can WHACK it. I was in division with two others,one of them a DD-main. We found that De Grasse has hydro... stuck together, when a sub was deep I used hydro and he dropped DC on it. Queen Elizabeth/Arizona: I hit a few and blapped two or three. One at 15km. No sub killed my BB. De Grasse/London: De Grasse is better here, as it reloads much quicker. Also it has Hydro... useful when you have a DD-divvy. CV: I used Ark Royal and Ryujo. Both are kinda mega-trolololo. We had some games all their DDs and subs went into one cap. I told the team in chat to get the other cap and kept trolling the DDs and subs that were capping. They never capped... I'm wrong then too, thought De Grasse is a heavy cruiser. I dunno why I saw so many Nurnbergs then. OK I saw them real short time... (BLAP BLAP BLAP). And WG is twice wrong then, I thought they said all light cruisers would get DC also. @MrConway where are my waterbombs!!!! No Brit but well it can hardly be worse eh. However I do see a way for WG to make this actually good - and also fix some of the CV mess. It has potential. But of course they can screw it up bigtime, too.

Yes, at least until T8/9 (where subs would get snorkel installation). Then they should be at periscope depth. But no sub could repair "outside damage" (like rudder) under water. As for the BBs, yes Bismarck had waterbombs. And most should have ASW planes. Hydro is another option. -
As usual, so you should be used to it... Well nobody has. And some people have played the test server, they have experience. I think it will work out in a few games. They don;t have to, for now it is only on separate mode. But if they do... well... we both klnow WG is gonna do it so, they can;t complain they never could test it. CV doesn't care what they call him mate. Let the hate begin, and the farming continue... (I killed some subs with CV... the best though is to protect your own subs, which is good... and farm while not needed). Cruisers have not much of a problem. Light cruisers can farm them. Heavy cruisers can farm the DDs/protect subs (I have De Grasse... it has HYDRO...LOL). As far as light cruisers, try Nurnberg... it has hydro, and waterbombs. BBs I killed a few subs so far but no sub killed me. DDs having a field day killing the subs. I think a few things and they'll have something potentially good. Much better than the CV Reeeework.

IMO that would be better, as in, when the sub has damage he can only repair it at the surface. -
I think they're fine, so far. Went in in Queen Elizabeth and Arizona. We even played a division of 3 BBs. Shot a sub that was detected and above water. BOOM dead. Here's the problem though. WG should make some "water armour". The deeper they go, the less penetration. They have left that 6m limit. Below that, subs do not take damage. And BBs need something like "ASW plane".

That's the problem really, WG should add some kind of "water armour". The deeper they go, the less effect surface-ammo has. You see them all hovering around 6m. Except those that sniffed too much glue. Must say it has potential. We had good teamwork, I had a heavy cruiser with hydro and my buddies had DDs. We also went in with a division of BBs to see what would happen. Got a few b0ts, unfortunately. But I still managed to sink a sub, LOL. We got 3 subs and 4DDs each side so I also got 2 DDs. I already torped two subs with my CV, and shot 3 subs with my BB. I'd give them my CV-rockets in exchange for depthcharges though.
