By the looks of it, they fall in a straight pattern, kinda zig-zag though. When you yank the handbrake and turn, most avoidable (even in a big fat BB). Of course you'll eat the next load then as you are now a slow AF. I did it in Queen Elizabeth though and the next load never came (all planes dead...). Seems to me that when he has to re-think his attack the reticule gets wide as F. In same Queen E apparent;y I was slower than he thought and man that was wiiiiiiideeeee. Rockets ended up both front and rear of that big a$$, the ones that hit didn't pen. I don't have them but doesn't seem good at all. -

It's not THAT difficult... even when just grinding to T10 I managed to do "OK" in most CVs. I know how they work... not thatI am very very good, but quite savvy. I imagine anyone being UNICUM will at least be able to do reasonably. We'll see. So far what I have seen when I met them was quite disappointing. I had a direct German T4 CV attack my T4 cruiser, and yes angling worked very well. Got one overpen through the superstructure for minor damage. -

When he does it it's not sealclubbing.... On the German CVs, every one I have seen (and some had players that were QUITYE capable), well, not impressed. Ended halfway the teamlist or bottom. Outdone by the average tater, and that includes me and probably also @Inappropriate_noob -

Just met @159Hunter in his Halland, he had a very bad losing streak - wasn't much help that I was in the Brindisi. But I'm not that dumb, I know to stay unspotted and kill the DD first before going dakka on anything else... (seems to be rare). So I swatted a Friesland and he killed it, and took the cap, and our team was... well... sort of adequate. Of course I put a few rounds into the Puerto Rice, and then I managed to torp a JB. But that was it, 50K and a honourable death for me... well yeah those pastacruisers so far aren't really my thing Thanks mate for the carry. -
They'd need to be two hits though, one for getting it <70% and the next could be a detonation. But indeed that is how to get rid of Smol. I find the Italian cruisers to be good, too. One of the few things so far that I find them good at...

If you are in Warspite (or any other BB, for that matter) your secondaries will start shooting the sub. If they do not fire at the sub, the is too low (6.1 m....) and then you cannot hit him. Otherwise - just more sheep to RNGesus. I shot subs often enough to know it works. Once they fix the "cheesing" (should be next test round!!) it will get better. It is still hard to hit them since there is no "lock on". -
True. I grinded to the T6, then bought Ark Royal to "GitGud". Meanwhile I just grinded the rest to T10. GitGud still has to come... Now I try to GitGud on Ryujo... If they set CVs at uneven tiers, there would be less "balance" required for a T6 CV to function in T8. Just sayin'....

Not true, because the XP required is at least twice as high, too. It just means you grind your CV twice as long as any other ship.

Yes. Because I said one CV can already wreck 50%, and then at T4 they give you TWO.

My record so far is 3.5 minutes.... I think in weekends about 1/4th of the games ends in ROFLSTOMP. And another 1/4th in "lemming train to death". Maybe this can be a sticky-thread @Excavatus : POST YOUR RECORD ROFLSTOMPS. -
Well TBH we had a few last-night games where we went sealclubbing T4, and a mate decided to grab Hosho just fot LULZZ. Apparently there are more of those... saw many familiar clans... But really except one (and that is not even my teammate in Hosho, he just has it so he's not any good either), those CVs were soooooo damn bad that I am surprised any of them make it to T6... at all. I did not get killed by even one CV, including the one that was actually decent (because it was his 1st game in a German test CV...). Sure if you get the likes of @El2aZeR in a T4 CV they can wreck half the team but i doubt more than 50% - because time. Most CV pilots I have seen though they struggle even putting down a T4 DD. Can't torp a cruiser. Miss bombs on a BB. Seriously.... yes the lack of counterplay is a serious problem. But it's not like CVs are the end-all, unless OP-pilots are at the rudder.

I met @Maviba_76 in his German test-CV, we went sealclubbing for the last game of the day. My mate was running the Hosho (I told him he needed to play CV to get an idea how to "defend"him self better). I ran a Yubari (meh) and saw Maviba - he also saw me and tried to get me, didn't manage though. He made it difficult for me, enough to not take screenies during the attacks! I dunno what rockets they have. But seems AP to me, however if you take them bow-on: hits but almost no damage. Bombs he didn't hit me, they fell in a row and I managed to go broadside to him. Torps were kinda difficult I think cause I saw some that weren't aligned at all. None hit. In the end I got blapped because of DD torpedo soup. My own fault because I wanted to get the CV... and saw him in their base. But a Yubari isn't exactly the right thing to use for that eh. Time to put that Kuma with the 19pt captain to work... Maviba survived the game to last but we won because we had less taters. My mate had taken the Hosho out before but he didn't really know what to do... Still they ended up with about same XP (before win-bonus). Man those German CVs must really suck (but looks like they have secondaries)! Good try though & see you next time. -

Correct That isn;t rude. Here's a tip if you want P2W, well sort of: - you have probably zillions of extra XP on elited ships; - this you can convert into FXP (by using doubloons that you can buy --> 1 doubloon converts 25XP); - a bit of CommanderXP and FXP can be used to upgrade captains; - get some (3-point) commanders (comes with new ships) and make as many 10-pointers as you wish (or can afford). We calculated how many we could spend at converting XP.... a few in my clan have more than a months salary worth. I bet you can make some 10-pointers from your ship-XP (and a load of doubloons...). Total XP required for a 10-pointer is 183k XP, and you always buy one that has 3 points. So needed is 179k XP, at 25XP per doubloon that means you need 7160 doubloons per 10 pt commander. The upgrade would cost you around €25 from 3 to 10 points. I assume ship XP is not a problem... -
The main problem with Moskva is Clan Battles. For CB you want a "massive tank build". Because what it is used for: tactical approach, island on left or right (never show side) and tank from front. In randoms you want something more flexible. Depending on playstyle, too. Your idea sounds fine to me.

I know that - but I have found my thinking-error. I had sold the Donkey, and WG has stripped the XP from it. SO, I'll need XP and not just FXP.

I might be a bit dimwitted sometimes, but since we already grinded Donkey, so we use Free XP which we have to grind with Donkey - why not use Moskva to grind those Free XP? Would that (T10 and now premium) not go quicker? Pls explain....

Well, if it had been me in the CV, I do not have Enterprise but you'd have bugs and lice and been finished of just the same. Probably slightly slower. OK maybe a lot. El2azer is very very good. I kill 3 ships he kills the whole team. The only way to live longer is adapt, I regularly div up with a DD-main and he doesn't care much about Cvs. Or so it seems. He does though but usually they never get him and he makes the end of the match, ending top 3. It is feasible. Needs a lot of adaptations - if you have a mate that plays CV, div up and find out how. I can't out-kil-farm-wreck my DD mate. Still most influential ship in the game. Well except if you meet the Dark Lord but hey.
