Same here. Wouldn't know why it would have to be helicopters or autogiros. ASW planes would be just as good, have them spot the subs (like planes do now with DDs that are otherwise hidden). And then have them bomb the MF. Pray and send sheep to RNGesus of course.

IMO there is no better law than Ockham's Razor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam's_razor Which is, in this case, better players (or shooters) will have more trouble with dispersion & RNG than worse ones. As such if your aim is 100% RNG will usually bite you in the butt because it throws off your aim in unpredictable ways. But if you are crap you're more likely to get a lucky hit (because if it was 100% accurate you'd not hit a thing). Simple, and sufficient. The better you get, the more crap results you get. Heheheh this I thought is actually funny and true.

That might be a false claim but.... ... this might be his average between making indeed those games, and getting 50% ROFLSTOMPS where he sank in 5 minutes like the rest of his team. IMO you are then right in pulling stats, as that claim is false - or at least needs some further explaining. But mind how these numbers get explained. He started wrong anyway, because his claim is clearly a lie. Should cut him some slack though - as it may be not his first language, and so on. This one as an example: WR = 55%. May look OK-ish. But the fact is, that I do not feel like I can contribute that much, with that 30sec reload. Just deal the big blaps, sometimes. Damage = 32k. Is low. But any "those good" game I get 80k. But... that's just ~55% of them (or less... and not all wins are "those good games"...). The rest we lost, and I got miserable damage. And doesn't seem to me like I can do much about it. This ships works (for me) best in an average team. If the team is bad (or too good...), there is not much I can do. he may have meant something like that? 150K in a good game? -
Yes it sometimes is. The challenge (for me) is to gitgud in the worst ones. Which is why I like Ark Royal, there is a certain amount of skill to it to get 100K. I just grinded them all (except the RN...) to T10 and now I am re-visiting them to actually GitGud. The T8 RN is... well... ehh... kinda MEH. But not a goat-sized meh, more like dino-size. Yes certainly looks better than RTS, to me. Also, I could hardly play RTS because of the stutters and crap. The rest of the game was no problem, but RTS constantly lagging and doing all kinds of stuff. But, a poison in a nice bottle is still a poison, even if the RTS version was slightly different poison.

What they'll find is: - all subs and the rest b0ts --> playing surface ships is either no fun or something else; - they will find the 5.9-6.1 cheat and fix it; - probably they will find some other issues;. - ...and then they will do the separate mode again. Right now their data is not showing them any "balance" It is just showing if "it sort of works". And it wil show them nobody is interested in playing surface ships because of game-mechanics issues. Am I right @MrConway ? -
I think it works like this, you get more people HAVING a T10 CV. At some point they end up having a T10, but then the question is, do they play it. My guess is they do not, because of the miserable credit earnings. I do not see a T10 CV often...Also I do not play them that much myself. If you get a ROFLSTOMP tater-team I'm not that good that I can make enough damage in such a short time. Without premium account running I usually lose money when playing T10 CV, even when I kick the butt of the red CV.

Not bad man. Not bad at all. But well, somebody has to take care of the server average of 50%. Sure isn't me... (though yesterday I got a few that I got 80-90k in Donkey... all losses, of course...).

Should state that it is not wise to grind ships, that depend on a "solid front", during weekends and lock-up times... Could be worse though. Now that we have a premium Moskva and a new T10, I have to regrind the Dimwit Donkey... You know, the one that you go "I'd have done twice the amount of damage/kills by now if I was in in the Chapayev". The positive thing about these times though, 30k damage will get you halfway in the teamlist, and 40k will get you in top 3.

Hahaha yes I have it as well. I get remembered because I have to grind the Donskoi (Donkey....) again. Feels like I am all the way back with the Danae and Emerald again. RNGesus sure seems to like red sheep/bananas or whatever. Just about everything can overmatch you, too. BLAP BLAP BLAP.

RNGesus must be loving bananas now. He sure doesn't like my sheep anymore. I got 60 hits in Queen Elizabeth. Man broadside cruisers and BBs galore. And only 2 citadels.... hahahahahhahaa ridiculous... . One game I scored 25K and we won. It was a T8 game and my team was killing them so fast, I just could not kleep up and hit anything before it was dead. I was the only T6 BB. LOLOLOL!

Seem to meet a lot of forumites lately.... today I met @Nibenay78 in his Östergottland, and he still hated CVs. Well I wasn't in CV, but unfortunately for me I was in Donskoi, and I decided to go help our Akizuki. Usually they smoke up so I followed him to cap... but he didn;t smoke up at all instead he went "byebye just die". That will teach me to have pity on those DDs. Now I'll go murder some of the buggers in CV. Screw them. Screw them all! Well, except Nibenay78 because he did a stellar job. -

It's not the boat, well not as much. Lately everybody is complaining about hitrate and I'm no exception. Sometimes the game actually "stutters". You get a blip/missed frame/whatever. I'm sure it has something to do with it. I know how to play the pastacruisers... you stay in hiding and deliver huge alpha strike. Sometimes it works, you get upto 10k per salvo. I have those games that I get 80k. But they aren't many. Usually what happen is this: - I follow DD at distance, taking care not to get spotted; - DD goes to cap, smokes up (I see nothing, can't shoot...) and then dies... which is why I like EU-DDS... they have no smoke... - and then I run for my life, dealing damage while kiting. Wel... damage... uhhh... Here's where the "hitrate" comes in. Yes one pen and the rest shatters. End up dead with 20-40k. So, I stay behind, shooting from further away... similar result as 1 pen is all I h get. 1716damage per salvo... my my. Sure what CAN happen is harvest that stationary DM or Yamato from 18 km, and get 8k salvos. But usually... nope. And reload 15 sec, so the average game I get 20-30 salvos off. Do the math... Maybe I am unlucky with the pastacruisers but at least Venezia delivers better punch. I already like it much much better. At least it smacks something and doesn't just tickle. -

Yeah a cyclone is always mega-crap when in the pastacruiser. Saw your torps flying everywhere and didn't want any of it. Unfortunately the pastacruiser depends on spotting and basically a "solid" team to hide behind, or "assist". Good at killing DD but requires spotting... in cyclone, well, nope. But... Venezia is ready now! -

That is what I do as well. Except, after I go as near to cap as possible (have exit strategy ready) and blap some hapless cruiser with AP... Basically I follow the nearest DD to cap, then turn when still unspotted, try blap anything he spots (surprise Mf...) and kite away, heal up. Rinse and repeat. Maybe I should use more HE in the thing? I always look at "what we got" (if 4 DDs...) to see what I load first. -
I think it is more or less the server connection. For example I know I can shoot pretty well with Hood. To the point that I shoot front & rear guns separately in Narai... cits all the way. However usually it doesn't seem to work like that in randoms. Just sometimes. Seems to me that when many people suffer disconnects it gets worse.

Just saw @rnat in his shiny secret new toy, while I just had mine (Venezia). I like it better than Brindisi, at least this puts out reliable damage. Seems the new toy is at least able to keep up for a bit with Hakuryu. But I have no way of knowing if the Haku player was any good. Before that I met @Gvozdika I hope he didn't see us (but at least I got rid of that T9 Brindisi pastacruiser. Bad news for me though: back to Donskoi to grind some more Russian Bias. First I'm gonna enjoy that Venezia for a while though. -

Well, we usually div up in cruiser/BB/DD (and sometimes a CV instead of the BB) and go whack-a-mole. On busty times there's hardly a b0t, if they get too many we go randoms. They could add CONVOY to randoms as well. Just have a convoy go somewhere, then you'd have to "take/own it" by capping some circle. Once "{capped"the convoy goes to the harbour of the team that capped it. And then you'd have to defend it, and you'd have to, else no ships remain. Which also would mean no more convoy. Goal would be to have them all in your harbour (most points) but at least one (= win game, but less points). You'd of course have to finish the enemies then (so find them....) while they have a choice to stay hidden and just ruin your harvest. After the convoy is finished, it is a "kill all enemies" game. They could add "bases"but they'd have to be in the respective harbours. Maybe stick some stuff there as well, like in Operations. -
1. CVs are too influential. The only thing you guys balanced is damage output. So a CV, is balanced "by damage" in 12 vs 12. And as such equal to a BB in a 12 vs 12. But 7 vs 7? Ahem. No man. All that is left as "counterbalance"is Stalin/Venezia. No DDs are needed anymore. 2. Mostly - cut the "cap circles". Start some convoys, harbour-defence/attack, whatever. It gets stale. 3. If you want CVs, then make it 1CV+1BB obligatory and 1-2 DDs too. Rest can be cruisers. Or make a "point system". Like, you can take 3DDs (3x50 points), or 2 cruisers (2x 75 points). Or a similar thing with T8 and T9 included. Just anything to avoid "a certain and stale team setup".
