Eh, but he is right. The bots actually started shooting at subs, no matter if there was one of their own Dds on top of that sub. Guess what, those bots were actually shooting their own DD... -
You can't fix them by nerfing, because they are broken AF. Nerfing is just determining the amount of damage. Problem is THE WAY they do damage. I do too (a wee bit worse than you, but still). They do have a place and I want them to be in as well. Problem is I also want them to be challenging (for the player and the opponent) and enjoyable. Yes. FIX THEM. I mean the mechanics. Now the only challenge is to kill as many as possible and do it in the fastest time. Ditto. The only one I really enjoy is Ark Royal, because that is actually a challenge.

Exactly. maybe even 5 other ships, but that depends on the other ships (which tier, what player..). Because, in the RTS version the better CV-player would take out the lesser one. This meant the better player could now just spot anything and kill anything at will. Well, but how would that be when there was only 1 DD. And that DD had ability to: - stealth torp; - radar; - smoke up forever; - have 120 knots top speed.... AKA --> WG knows CVs are broken AF, so they take one measure: both red and blue get one ship that is broken AF, presto: balance comrade.

I do the same thing. I just wait if they have something worthwhile to spend it on. Which will be different form what other players think, usually. Premium time is not worth it for me, usually "weekend pass". Ah well.

...just not if you play in weekends. I mean, you still can get > 100k but then there's also those games your team dies to ROFLSTOMP in 3 minutes and you have <30k. -
Not really, the auto-stop-fire is because WG thinks it is too difficult to have a repair-party and a heal for CV. So not heal, but auto-fix. What they did against CV-sniping is insane AA and auto-launch fighters. That way you can still try kill the other CV, but is 3x as hard as killing other stuff.

Mind, this is Masterrrr El2azer, he'll kick [edited]no matter if you give him an Omaha and T10. I agree. I'll see your T8 and raise you a T9. Still learning though. @Figment I'm not even that good, and lots of times I forget to cap the screenies. I've done quite a few > 100K while faildivving and getting T9. I just wish I could see their faces... And yes I also have met Frieslands. Have to be careful but they won't live long if I wish so.

Eh, I hardly ever play DDs but i can see why they'd hate subs. Most likely. I play the rest though and I can tell you for sure why they hate subs. Fixing that 5.9-6.1 m shite troll mechanic might go a long way though. Shot quite a few of them in Queen E before they all found it BTW -
I dunno about that. Those servers would have to be built/placed in a sort of ideal location, requiring invenstment/personnnel. It might be more handy to rent them form the best (cheapest...) source. If they do not suffice, just find a better one.

Well... currently sitting on 100 million credits. I'm not the best player but maybe I'm "quite economical". I bought Hood, Ark Royal and some "1 euro special offer" LOL-boates. Usually I play T6-7-8, but I have no problems making money in a T10 game. Why - because WG gave me (for free) Salem, Smolensk, Moskva... Also somehow I manage to break even when I play the non-premium other T10s. And I have many "premium ships" in pother tiers, out of containers or grinds or whatever. I do not "feel the need" to spend money, really. But I don't mind spending a bit, if WG made something worthwhile. After all, if the game is nice, a full game costs ~50 euro. After a year or so, it is no longer played. That is how I calculate, if they make the game worthwhile for another year, they 'deserve' ~50 euros.

Which ship do you find hardest to play well?

I think it is a LOL-boat. I do not anymore expect to do well in it, so it has become a meme-thing when I pick it in a division. Every minute teammates ask "are you dead yet", "got BLAP"or other funnies. BTW I usually end up in the top half anyway, that is how bad games are nowadays. It doesn't seem to be "another Moskva", and since I play CB it is a must-grind, probably. Much like "need to have Venezia"... for which the grind was like a purpose-built route of pain. In case of Moskva it was worth it, Venezia is worth it too. We'll see about Nevsky... My record is 111k with it, but that's not the point. It is just rather MEH. Fires, well, same as on Ark Royal - it is DoT, so if RNGesus gives you time, you make damage. And if RNGesus gives you teammates that pay attention (or you bring some yourself) you win games. I'll still try... my WR is already up to 41% on the thing (LOL). -

I feel your pain... and then they make us grind it again to get Nevsky. It is not as strong as the Chapayev, nor as agile. At least that had some sort of brakes/acceleration/steering. And it is flimsy AF, even if you meet ships only one tier higher. Blappetiblap there goes the Donkey. I score 25-50K with it and usually then I am dead within 3-5 minutes. If I live longer it is because all the enemies went to the other cap. So then I live longer but I still score very very low. The thing it is good at is kiting, but even then the Chapayev is much better. -
That's what I did to practice (training room and stationary b0ts though), I even practiced "high or low" BBs vs several cruisers. unfortunately ships usually move (when they stand still or go straight line, yup RNGesus likes me). It just seems I was a lot more lucky before or maybe they actually learned "just dodge". Edit: maybe they have changed stuff so much I should practice again, though.

True. It is why Hakuryu (and now Ryujo) are the meta in CB. Please teach me, all I do now is try hard and send sheep to RNGesus. Maybe I should try goats he doesn't seem to like sheep anymore.

Actually if that was you then you had a very very bad day I guess. Maybe, I dunno how gooed Enterprise rockets are. I'd certainly get more damage in such a match with Shokaku but would not use only rockets. Correct. Now... this is doubtful, due to the amount of RNG in AP-bombs. If RNGesus accepted a ridiculous amount of sheep, then yes. But I get games (in Ryujo, but also Shokaku and Hakuryu) where I get 2, 3 citadels in one go. End of game: 10 cits, mega score. Also I get games where I seem unable to hit anything (yes, overpens etc) all game and then I get none.

Do you notice the occasional "stuttering" / "hiccups" / "Temporary FPS drops" during the battle in game?

Have the same problem, nothing regular but some games more than others. A sudden "stutter". Usually means I miss some bombs drops or something. I'm sure they'll fix it, seems it is not just me.- 188 replies

Did lots of ramming in CB, with CV vs Cv. Not so much on the subtest server. They always hover at 6m, so when you try to ram them, no luck. First thing they should fix IMO. -

THIS. If a DD player manages to "just dodge" he gets a +1 from me. You don't meet many of them. -
I wouldn't know, never played them after grinding the T6. T4 does not interest me very much, really. When I tried the T4 German, I was teamed up with a Hosho, I ended up with ~30% more damage. Doesn't say much though as usually (when I help a teammate grind) I use Hermes and get 50% more.

The thing is that detection range, less than 10km for Ryujo and 15km for Ark Royal, LMAO. It means with a Ryujo you can sort of roam around, but not with Ark Royal, you'll be detected and shot up. Sure you can outrun the subs but not the shells from their friends. As far as "immune" goes, nothing is for that 6.1-5.9 cheese. It means they can just come up close and use non-guided torps. Nothing surface can hit them when they are at 6.1 m. -
