I have NC, have graduated to Iowa. Finding Iowa much better (LOL- guns - BLAP). Then I got Thunderer... man... hahahahaha that thing is hilarious. Main thing is the stealth and the accuracy. I also have Conqueror, I tend to go close with it, blap something, and leave to heal up while leaving a trail of fire. Thunderer is like a crossbreed Iowa/Conqkek. If you like those... you'll love this one. Prepare to lose some karma though. Once you have zero karma anyway, just div up with a CV and a Smolensk.

Well, I got 500FXP from that Trento game. That means 880 games like that should do it. Seriously he'd probably get more like 15000 each game, running some flags and taking a premium ship maybe 50 games? EDIT: can;t calculate. Should go to bed..

Yes, as you should... but then their sector will be on cooldown next time. And then you can still crap on them even 3 tiers up. Even if you are 3 tiers lower, just depends on how close they are to islands. Well, you do not really have to aim torps, they'll always hit at least one...

I think this is correct. I have them on the strangest occasions, but no ping or FPS drop. When it happens is quite random, can be when torps spawn, when ships get visible, when explosions happen, when planes are shot down... Basically any "special event" can cause stutters - or not. Sometimes nothing happens and it all carries on fluently.

CVs should have a perma-cyclone imposed on them. Not just in CB, but always. AKA, they shouldn't spot for more than ~8-10 km, rest of the team gets minimap only. Also, CB should be T9 and then you can take a T8 CV, something like that. I know at this moment that would mean "Enty FTW", but WG should also fill those uneven tiers. So if CB is T10, then you could take a T9 CV. They're much too strong because they need to perform two tiers up, too. Hell they even perform 3 tiers up. Take a T6 CV into T9 and you can still wreck everything.

That's not usually what happens... - when I set fire, and yes I need to be lucky, they put it out; - can't get perma-fires because the DPM isn;t that great (my teammates have that ship that DCP-d with 3 fires by then...); - Yes I kite and try f to farm, but the thing takes citadels and pens from everyone and at all angles. Man you can't believe the cussing when I found out I'd have to regrind it to get Nevsky... AKA it is absolutely mega crud. I'd rather have to regrind any other from that line... almost gave up on ever having Nevsky... I hope the heavy line is better (Tallin etc). Will find out sooner than having Nevsky... re-doing Shchors is easy. More armour, well, wouldn;t think so, probably just enough to get pens instead of overpens? I love Leander... better than Fiji IMO. Seems the reds know it though, I'm plenty savvy with it but not the results I got with Danae/Emerald. Seems those two floating citadels have a surprise-effect. Mostly I went full-game with them and got good scores (mind I play weekends...). I really really loved the Chapayev. Wish they'd make me regrind that one. Will probably get it again and keep it.

I dunno why mate. But Donkey just seems to be my nemesis boat. I'd say it is a T9 Danae/Emerald, but... ...and it is even affecting my general WR in cruisers (LOL). You can see the days I have been grinding that donkey.... Well...

Same here, I have replied in the other thread as well, @MrConway said a "specialist" would look at it... Reported the problem, uploaded the replay.... NO SOLUTION. No further answers either, and this issue has been going on since a few patches..

Seeing we can now get legendary upgrades for Whatever-ium I think it's a good time to ask which ones would work. I'll get to the Conqueror this weekend, probably gonna use it in Clan Battle next week. Should I get it? And which ones are recommended to put on cruisers? T10RN will be coming up soon. T10US after that. I think I chose the wrong ones though, but never mind that: Russian non-biased non-OP soon to follow...

Well, there's a few factors to that: - most subs were tunnelvisioning, and they did not notice the planes; - it was before they found out about the 6.0m cheese; - mostly I got them when they were trying to torp a teammate. After a while I could not get them anymore, they just stayed below 6.0m (at 6.1m...). Couldn't hurt them there. What they tried then was to sneak up on my CV. Of course that didn't work, as I could still spot them and my CV was faster so I could outrun them. So we divved up a CV and a DD, I would spot them and my teammate would just depth charge them. When they surfaced I'd use the carpet bombers. Co-operation goes a long way and is definitely more OP than whatever ship WG invents.

I agree 100%. But same can be said about interaction with other ships, that can shoot effectively at longer range than is usually spotted by a DD. Which is why Stalingrad... But the thing everyone seems to forget is the CV itself. I found that in the T6 CB, it really made a difference if you could do much as a CV. It mattered if you ran out of planes, how fast they were and if they could "do as asked" when needed. You need an all-rounder. Had to be able to target ANYTHING.

I will probably get it, next goal was Stalingrad but I can't see me using it in randoms, or anything outside of CB. Usually for coal I try to get T10s to use in CB, as I play mostly T6-7-8 in randoms. However I do use those T10s in randoms as well. Stalingrad being a bit too special for me I suppose, and in CB it's often me that plays the CV... So might as well get that T10CV then.

We did that in the submarine test, and murdered the whole red team including subs...

Well, actually it would be kinda fun. I sometimes go for the enemy CV. Sometimes they are really easy to kill. But if its 5CVs, they'd have to cap and do other stuff as well. And go through the middle on Two Brothers map.

My reaction: Since the only thing that is FUN for me (Flint) I have, and then the next one would probably be Stalingrad... ...maybe this one is THE SALTY OPTION instead of Stalingrad

Well I am not so sorry for you as for him, he got two T8 Cvs in T6-7 ships. At least you had all T8s (and you weren't in a "bad AA" ship... that thing is vicious). Sorry mate, nice try but no cigar... ROFL. TBH I'd not hesitate do T10 with Ark Royal or Furious or Ryujo (not sure about Ranger or the Germans). Also I dunno how bad Langley was back then, nor T7. Only experienced the last bit of it. I still regularly do fail divs with T7s in Ark Royal. It's fun!

True. Next CV is gonna be those cruisers, plus some Hand of Stalin BB(s). So the pick is really, Two Hands Of Stalin or a CV.
