Seems to have fixed itself, only happened the first few games. Weird...
-
Well.... Yes indeed. But you both forgot something. It would only be effective if they didn't get any new players, either. It is the new players that keep the game going. For example I have Texas. Cost me 5 euro or something. Now, I'll not likely buy another Texas (even if it is fun). If I leave, it makes no difference to WG. A new player, however, will buy a Texas again. Or a sub. Or a CV.

NEW PERSONAL RECORDS... well sort of anyway. Here you go.... @El2aZeR yes Masterrr I am learning, but I still need to carry harder. Damn DDs. Also, this is why my average, well, kinda sux. I need a bigger boat. Or maybe they do. Should I go capping instead of blapping Mass-of-glue-sheets? -
Eh, you wanna be sure you trust WG more than a guy actually thinking straight? @FukushuNL simply makes SENSE.
-
I got +1 and minus 7 for this one....
-
He makes more sense than any of those, really. No, that would just satisfy YOU (and a bunch of others). But again, @FukushuNL had the perfect answer. No need for me to repeat it. Doesn't mean I do not expect WG to produce (a lot?) of F-ups. And yes I agree with you on many items. But we will get them, and we'll get them in randoms, too. Yes many people will leave. But there's this thing. You can try to keep the current crowd happy, but you cannot keep them spending. And since they want to make money, and lots of it, they will bring subs. WG will rather have 10.000 newbies influx-exit each month that spend 5 euros, than 1000 people who have spent 500 euros but do not spend a dime anymore because they have all they want. They did not make the game for YOU. They made the game to make a profit. Once you realise that you will see:

WG please keep any "homing torps" shenanigans for T10 thanks. The first one was like a "nuke button" and this one isn't much better. It doesn't belong in T6. Yes it works but it is much much too strong.
-
The players pressing "FUKU" are always faster... Sometimes I get 3 reports in plus, but well, next game I get 12 minus... Seriously, usually people reserve the "likes" for when they meet friends/clanmates. And they usually run out of "baddie comments" after 3 matches...
-
Now it is so stuffed I cannot even get in... Yeah they borked it. You also cannot detect what depth the sub is if you do not target him. Now, how are you gonna know in CV when you can hit him? Tried a torp... and he dived much too fast.
-
MANNNNNNN it stutters like hell. Unless fixed, I am certainly not going to be able to judge this @YabbaCoe.
-
It has been proven many times that most that come to the forum, are those that come to whine. And that is a (quite vocal) minority. Yeah too bad. I bet I can do the same being just one dufus in a CV. Next please. And it is 2x12, II bet the other 12 are gonna LMAL ROFLOL when the reds screw it up. Indeed when. Been proven by @FukushuNL here And yes you may agree to disagree. You can see the proof. They are at least trying, what they fixed is indeed what was pointed out in previous sub-test-thread. Granted I don't expect them to do it 100% right, then again you cannot please everybody either.
-
AH well UTC, Underwater Technical Crisistime then, I presume. Gets me every time/... Thatnks @YabbaCoe
-
Yeah well, that didn't work...
-
I seem not able to login, it doesn't give me the options to put in codes either. And I cannot add another account for TST... Under Ëurope"I have CIS, North America, ASIA - buit NO TST SERVER
-
Well I haven't got it yet, but I doubt if I'll lose any karma. Have been at ZERO ever since I started playing CV... Minus-points compensating the 2/3rd of other ships I play, easily... OK I also have Smolensk...
-
Well, yes I agree the ship is good enough I kept it, crapbotes I sell...). But calling it "broken OP"... well... is kinda BS really. It is on the bottom pile. Maybe in YOUR hands it is very good. That might be, I (rarely...) have such ships. Chapayev is one example, I think the thing is brilliant. However... doesn't seem to be so for everybody. https://wows-numbers.com/ship/4181636560,Chapayev/ And then this, which is correct IMO - therefore maybe you need to realize that you are quite better than average. As such, yes some ships maybe feel terribly strong FOR YOU but they actually are not. Same with CVs. YEah it's not OP as far as I see it. I think it is still good, but powercrept like hell.
-
Lost server hamsters (died of starvation?) seem to need a lot of Vodka...
-
Well, you should at least compare tech-tree ships. Even so we can see that NC is powercrept AF. I'd say maybe it was broken when it first appeared, now it seems it's overtaken by every other tech tree ship... If I'm not mistaken it was one of the first available T8 BBs as well. But I started on the Brits, US line progressed upto T9. Must say the Iowa is a LOT better than NC. But that is also because in NC I got a LOT of T10 games. In Iowa so far I get only "pure T9", and some T8 and even T7 games. Very very few are T10. Maybe it was different when you grinded NC? Same as Hood, which I always thought of as being kinda OP. But when I just had it, I got 90% T6-7-8. And that was when we didn't have ships like Baltimore, or Frenchies with MBRB and speedboost. There were no Russian BBs either. Also you got a LOT of Derpitzes... LOL! But right now if I play Hood it feels like XXL cannonfodder to a load of supercruisers.

It is an assumption (yours) that the majority of the playerbase is against them. At this forum, yes there is a majority against subs. I'm not saying they (will) like them. I am saying that we WILL GET them. That is just YOUR opinion. It is only a fact that most people at the forum do not want them. That is guesswork. For all we know they might be so crap/boring/snot that nobody wants to play them. Same as CVs, whatever WG did to make them "fun" (eh...) they are still a minority (even if broken AF). WHEN they come to the game mate, when... And WG made it clear they WILL come and WILL BE in randoms. And probably in CB, and ranked... after a while. That, I agree. They didn't listen enough with CV Reeework. It is still a crapfest, probably always will be. But... at least they DO listen this time (dunno how much and how long that will last). SO maybe better help them (as they are unable... to do so themselves) cause REEE REEE NOO NOO will certainly not work.
-
Well maybe you have to look again... North Carolina is bottom-last except Tirpitz. We know why Tirpitz is last, it was a sort-of give-away at some time. Was even called a Derpitz... But North Carolina OP, and broken too? LOL.
-
You still have to explain all the rest of the 60%-and-over ships. That said, stats by WG are kinda fumbled anyway. Anything between 45% and 55% is "the norm". Even so, you are clearly a bit above it. And you'll usually meet players that are NOT above it. I have seen some that have 30%... now guess who'd win.
-
I found it quite entertaining, playing as a surface ship and as a CV. Until they had all discovered that beneath 6.0m they couldn't be hurt except with depthcharges. And that at 5.9m they couldn't be hurt by depthcharges. Then they started "cheesing" that and it got boring quite fast. But it was quite OK when they didn't know yet. I'd sit in a fat BB a bit from the cap, keeping an eye on it. Then a sub would come and try to cap, I'd spot his periscope and go BOOOMMM. He'd chase me and I'd run. Of course I run to my DD... hehehehh.... BLOTTOOOOO another one sunk. When they found out they just stayed at 6.1m, came up close and torped everything from point blank. No escape possible. Even with DDs they went to 6.1m, then when he dropped ASW they came up to 5.9m, ASW didn't hurt them, torped the DD, went back to 6.1... Yes indeed, and I'll help them by posting whatever my findings are. LOLLLL that is sort of what I think about it. Of course they CAN do it. But will they? Hey man I'd div up with you just for the fun, hot damn it is a game - let's have fun and to hell with WR/stats/unicums, what do we care! And yes I'd like to have those subs as well, will be a nice change if they manage to make them balanced!
-
Problem with Roosevelt is mostly that you do not have to worry about all those torpedo planes disappearing like melting snow... It will get more of those torps in that Midway for sure. Have mercy on the souls of the poor T8s that will face it... And that aim... shiiiiitttt it takes me 5km to line up Midway torps properly. And yes two torps is easier. Had the same problem with Kaga. Damn it has 4 torps but you need to hit 4, too. But first problem, you need 4 planes surviving... (or 2 on Kaga). Well, I'd call that "not telling the whole truth".... maybe there's a lot of broken ships, then? BTW it would mean your North Carolina is more broken than Enterprise... eh. Well this game is about blowing the reds out of the water. It's not like that DD that finally closes in is gonna think, oh you poor guy. Nor will that BB-player when my Cv gets spotted (and I know... often I am that BB player). I am with Satan on that one.
-
You are hardly a player that can be called potato though. I don't deal 10K damage with HE-bombs at all. Even if I drop them on a BB most I get is ~5K. Maybe I'll get some fires and damage from that. If I get one fire, well OK usually they leave that. But if I get 2, they DCP, others set fires before I am back. Bad results. Dunno how you do that. Actually I do, and I CAN do it - sometimes. But not generally. With T8 Parseval, rocket attacks usually get mitigated because cruiser turn. If I am somewhat lucky I can make a second attack. yes 8K, if the poor sod is broadside. Usually though, a flight with rockets results in 4K or so.
