its not hard data. It was an explanation similar to what you do today but they gave a number. I think it was 13minutes avg battle time which they are happy with. It was a post explaining it and that battle time will not be reduced to 15min like wows legends.

The fact that they are excluded from CBs precisely because of that shows that it actually happens and that is why WG looks for ways to nerf spotting without breaking the class.

CV players have a much higher impact than BB players. The statistics ýou pull up dont say much because its about random battles and Unicum divs can succeed greatly be it surface ships or CVs. The proof for CVs having much higher influence is Clan Battles and their exclusion from those. The early Hakuryu ban before the total exclusion shows directly that Hakuryu is the most powerful CV and ship in the game on top of that. For actual comparison look at PTA players stats vs El2as CV stats and you will see the difference of influence comparing the best of the best which is the only valid way to look at it.

A bit of research on the internet showed me that there are many players in different games naming themselves as such and aren't getting disciplined. It seems to be distasteful but far from some of the more offensive names that are also being regularly tolerated. As such It might be interpreted as that but the word "might" is important as it really shouldn't be. That would mean that every company outside of WG allowing such naming scheme would support it too and that would therefore be a rather ridiculous stance to have. The name is at best distasteful Edit: the example screenshot is not part of the research but rather jut to show how many more like that there are "warcrime enjoyer"

I can see why you would believe that as it can definitely have some influence especially if spotted ships are vulnerable. But regardless most is dictated by the CVs own actions and MvR just doesn't provide enough potential on its own and that's why I think its one of the weakest CVs and therefore in my opinion not a good example for carry potential. I believe we need to really view it from best performers perspectives here as with the argument of spotting you are potentially saying that even bad players therefore habe influence which they might have in very limited capacity but certainly not reliably. Reliability is what we need to judge CVs on and GZ and MVR simply aren't.

I understand what you mean. It certainly is powerful especially in situations that favor it. Due to this restriction however other ships who are on all situations reliable outshine it and it is considered bad because of that. It can still get the job done with an added challenge which some might look for.
