  3. People like me play the game for the game not for missions. I couldn't care less about missions, they just complete themselves on the side. None of my friends try to go out of their way to complete the missions and most of my friends are my skill level or above. There is no reason to not make the missions easier if you implement a win condition at the same time. It can be done and it would at least somewhat motivate the people who like missions to try to win and the selfish reward for participating collector ones can simply leave and with that make it a better game experience for everyone else who actually understands that the goal of the game is to win and not to get some stupid mission done

  5. And this is something WG can't solve. The players don't have time or the mindset to get better? Well then they don't deserve the mission rewards. You allow anyway?then u create an environment where people can play badly and get rewarded for it and obviously people will take full advantage of this system while patting themselves on the back for completing the mission with 25%wr while screwing all their teammates for it. If you ask me those people with those mindsets are true griefers

  8. Just shows how selfish players are. If they played just normally they would easily automatically complete the missions. Its not WGs fault its players being selfish and having the wrong idea about what the objective of the game is. WG however could add a simple solution. Make every mission progress a win condition. No win? No mission progress.

    And to skip grinding some pay money for boosters, premiums and so on. In every single game with this monetization model it works and there are more games with those models than there are without (currently played games as in live service games). Pvp also helps with exploiting narcissistic people like me who like to compare themselves to others (every one is a bit narcissistic it just varies) and most people use the pressure of a better ship as reason to spend money on a supposedly OP premium, lootboxes ect to get their imaginary edge over other players aka they try to spend money to win easier which thankfully doesn't really work in WOWS however the traps still function as they prey on people who don't know better

    because pvp makes them more money. its a psychological thing and they will gladly sacrifice a few of the pve only players for it.

    Since this is still on topic. Be careful with having fun while performing terribly and I say this as general advice. Fun can excuse having to try to get better. Its fine to have fun but you should still beat yourself up mentally at least a little bit for not being able to perform better. You don't need range on marceu to perform well. It helps but its not needed.

    actually your numbers are so low for example on Marceu, WR and PR that it screams skill issue not captain issue. What is your excuse for Thunderer, a ship you play very often?Its a premium so no issue putting a good captain on it. Gouden is a ship with at least 52% for you but your PR is bad so you are doing something wrong. Satsuma, Vermont and Yamato are okish but you clearly lack experience in t10. And it is not because of captains im 100% sure on this. I have an alt account called https://wows-numbers.com/de/player/561580607,Asashio_Kai_Nii/ And I bought Asashio, played it in randoms from battle 1, without upgrades (back then you had to play at least 30 battles to unlock upgrades like concealment₩ and without captain as you had to play around 20 battles before unlocking captain and it will be low point captain on top of it and get I somehow done good? Its clearly a skill issue for you and if you want it to get better you need to stop coping so hard and accept that you suck and that you can do better if you want

    With enough game experience you won't need to experience a ship to know how it works. Also your attitude is very very casual so you can't really point fingers if you dont go about this in a more serious manner. If you are already fine with a wr just over 50% then there is no helping possible. So the captains aren't an issue honestly. Its perfectly workable if approached correctly and no, I don't believe casual gameplay should be as rewarding as dedicated play

    Thats an issue you yourself create though. Why not play one ship for longer? focus on a t10 ship, git gud while earning elite cxp to later use for a captain to get him easily to 19pts You can't play all kinds of ship left and right and expect to ever get a grasp. Also switching tiers around will also screw you up. T10 and t11 is where you should get better and grind a bit on the side.

    Captains don't play a role in this. Its another convenient excuse. When I had 5k battles in total I had most my t10 ships with 19p captains already but my stats were bad because I was objectively speaking a bad player back then (look at my montana/Yamato/ harekaze solo winrates, ships i haven't touched since then because I'm not interested right now but they are proof of my bad player skill). Now things are different though, I had 10k battles to improve, get even more captains to higher points and my stats aren't bad in t8+. Its just part of growing as a player. Any new player in the beginning will have bad stats, bad captains and so on. Until you understand the game you are allowed to be mediocre but then after you got consistently good your stats will fix themselves. The best way to find out how bad you truly are is to make a new account, see how high you can reach and when the numbers normalize back to your main account. Because an alt account can never be better than your main since its still the same person playing.

    its very simple. You look at the winrate per tier. Also In divs PR is more or less spread among players because if you play with 3 excellent players your performance solo in PR will usually be higher than your div PR. however if your div PR despite having such good players is still very high it means it doesn't matter if the player plays solo or in div as in both scenarios they play very well. Also I would say only t8 - t11 should ever have any relevance in judging a player. Just by default. In those tiers gameplay is the most difficult and complex. If people have high account winrates but more than half their games is in lower tiers and they have 5% lower winrates than their average in the higher tiers it means they are terrible where it matters. Numbers don't lie, its that simple. And the most important numbers are usually the most recent ones as they tell you how successful the player is in a very up to date state of the game.

    I really don't like discussing what ifs and could bes. Even if we come up with the perfect system its not up to us to implement and im sure WG would know best due to their analytik tools how to do it. They choose not to on purpose. Its their decision and we have to live with that

    That is not an excuse. The game does not need to be made easier for the ones who don't want to improve at it. The game should be difficult to reward good players. Bad players can get rewarded too by getting better and no, ELO system would mean that players like me won't find matches. Do you not understand how little the amount of players is that are as good?it would take hours to match 12 vs 12

    Just look at the most recent stats. the last gearing game was a month ago. you also have to understand that some stats are highly outdated you can clearly see that Sera and me are great players. We do not need to play solo just to prove this point to you but when we play solo and the most recent stats are usually the best indicator of the current state of skill we have success and thats what you appear to not want to accept. Also playing with friends is more important value of time in this game anyway. Div don't take away our abilities in the game. Thats also why you see little amounts of people even getting above 65% div winrates even though it supposedly is so easy.

    I share seras opinions on DD play and look, my most played solo ships include 2 classic DDs and it just seems that I'm doing quite well despite all the radar, CVs and subs. Just maybe Sera has a point?

    Well to bad for you him and myself can perform solo just as well as we do in divisions. Somehow we just don't have the same problems the majority of people point out in this topic. It might have to do with us playing as Sera explained in detail, carefully picking our fights and correct predictions and match reading as to what the enemy could be doing and where they are before we see them. @Karkong_the_Impaler you pinged me? What is it you want me to comment on? If its spotting of CVs then RTS was far worse as there you could use empty bomber planes who outrun every fighter plane to spot on multiple places of the map at once and that doesn't include the 4 other squadrons flying around all over the place and spotting. And the empty bomber planes could be in the air for unlimited amounts of time.
