Here is a video i made for my clanmates. There is no commentary, no high quality editing or anything. But at around 2m into the Video where i start dropping on a stationary DD you can see the killing hit is the all bombs in front last second drop, you will be able to see how much calculation for distance and patience is needed to make it possible, imagine it on a moving target https://youtu.be/oRPNsI_arY8

Thats intended and hard to hit on a manuevering DD. Many things need to line up to make it possible, it's a skill drop. Skill should be rewarded. Also even if you removed that, a last second drop (at 0.5 bomb release or even 0.2) will still be able to hit a DD for at least 10k. It's a privilage of USN HE Bombers. To get those drops you really need optimal circumstances, correct distance and preferably a DD kiting away from the Bomber

Even the ones who are testing them for WG? Man that is what i would call unacceptable! Especially if they are the ones who are testing AND dislike the rework/ want it fixed. That would be next level hypocrisy. But in the end if it gets adjusted it won't have much of an impact anways. Regardless of fighter, the first strike always goes through.

I almost always get a flood on my torp runs. Don't really feel like it's hard to get done. And the dmg if 6 hit is around 20k which is pretty good considering its citadel dmg. I think current Midway torps are fine -
Yes i think it's difficult to say. I am certain it's not really an exploit and working as intended. Which of course doesn't mean it's not flawed. I am also of the opinion that it's kind of bad that the fighters are weakend in that way. Would be much better if: The fighter plane once locked tries to do a set amount of dmg before timer runs out or it disappears. If fighter for example kills 3 planes but still can do enough dmg for 4more it stays in the area until all the dmg is done or it runs out

If you drop in the water it forcefully reduces the possible attack runs by 3 planes which also get destroyed by the fighters. It's either lose 7 planes (t10) if they lock on or lose an attack run and 3 planes after dropping into water. The latter achieves not the maximum amount of defense a fighter could provide but at least reduces the attack potential of that squadron. Of course if the fighter gets triggered during the first attack on a ship it only kills 3 planes and doesn't do that much to defend. But this really needs good timing and sometimes forces a hasty less accurate drop.

The fighter focuses the currenrly aimimg planes first and follow them until they die, since fighters apply DPS and not instant kill after the drop is released the attack wing becomes a seperate sqzad which the fighters follow until dead, regardless of how many squads remain in the area the fighter then despawns. Normal behavior. Only doable under certain circumstances

@159Hunter Couldn't care less. It just shows how little all the people know who are protesting CV with all their facts and stats. If something like that only gets discovered after KOTS CVs show it happening. More then likely was intended or havr all the testers overlooked it?

Yes i focus on midway because i want to be able to perform in CW or CB in the future, no time for other ships, practice is needed. Let me say this. If you want to play at my level you have to concentrate and know what you are doing in them. If you don't believe it then that's you being just another one of those special cases. The types that think anything below a certain performance treshhold must be trash right? I mean who can't possibly perform on my level with this kind of easy boring gameplay? -

I guess you must be right. You sure know. Maybe i should evaluate why i play them since rework. Probably not because it's a challenge that requires concentration and target selection and flexible aiming and predicting stealthy DDs locations with rockets. -

Is the reason you are saying all this to make you feel better about your RTS success which is lacking now after you tried a few games in the rework? Man if you are bored ignore them. Even top heads of the CV community who also think it's boring admit to an even larger skillgap. -

You of course use boost to zig zag out ;) i tried without zig zagging but notixed increased plane losses is why i stopped,i pan the camera behind the planes while blindly turning them with A and D to see when i left the AA range and instantly press F @LemonadeWarrior You had alot of success in RTS is why you sre probably sad you can't repeat it anymore? I peeked out of curiosity. Just try again, if it's as easy as you say you should top the scoreboards soon enough for sure -

Zig Zagging while boosting out reduces the losses believe me. Sometimes you just have to over commit. You find yourself in the AA of 3 shipd after the strike. If you don't Zig Zag the flak will destroy you. -

It does not. Most people still aim with A and D
