If i would give you one of my replays to watch and i think they are broken now as i can't play them, you would see that it won't change anything to give them range because i for example mostly operate my aircraft within 20km anyway. So it wouldn't reduce my effectiveness which is the goal of that restriction. I recently played 3 Enterprise games just to have another look, all 3 wins, 4,2kills per match, one kraken. I'm not a Enterprise person but that thing is just to strong and easy to play. The 20km restriction wouldn't have changed the outcome of these 3 matches neither would ave the removal of spotting. Only one DD died due to my spotting in the last seconds of one of the games which has already been won way earlier. If you have a CV player who knows their play then no matter the nerfs that player will be effective with or without competent teammembers. There is no "supporting the other flank". -

You know i am 150% sure all my suggestions have already been talked about between WG Devs. Basically this topic is pretty much useless. WG will do what they feel is best based on all data they collect and feedback recieved. I'm sure some of them sometimes read the topics and suggestions, when the other suggestion thread was created yesterday a Dev actually took a look at it. So since so many of us have now pretty much covered nearly all there could be only waiting remains. My spotting removal idea btw is pretty flawed in a balance perspective btw. I give you a chance to tell me how. Maybe we can reach a common understanding if you think about it from a CV players perspective and it's the reason why WG will likely never remove CV spotting. -
Not working for me, i downloaded it from my dropbox it wasnt in my folder originally and didn't work. The game i tried to watch is 1 day old.

Yes. I understand that. But people demanded me giving suggestions that could work instead of constantly defending my favorite class so i provided. Now it's on them to decide if it's good enough or if they still want to be lazy and simply call for removal. As it is, i haven't found any ideas besides removal/ isolation of CVs. -

You can't recall the squadron, you launch you drop. You can't get the planes with loads back on CV like IRL. You waste an attempt this way or trigger the CD to rearm. 1 minute CD between sorties would limit you to 19 sorties per match, which is in my opinion to strong if we go for big alpha strikes, so it's limited to a maximum of 8. If you can do 50k dmg in tier 10 on a perfect alpha drop against a BB , giving more then 8 opportunities would be op. This would limit the max potential alpha dmg (dots not included) to 400k per game which is only achieveable if you strike BBs exclusively and ALWAYS hit them perfectly which will not be possible. -

It's simple, we need to wait out until what WG is cooking is finished (support CV line). My suggestion is not a solution, only the nerfs i suggested besides the main idea could be doable but those will kill the average players performance. After some talk with someone who really dislikes CVs in his game but loves to play them i found out that what makes them appealing is not that they are powerful but that you have constant action. He told me that he never felt so much fun playing any class not because he shits on everything, he is actually pretty bad. But because he enjoyed how action packed they are. He says he never had a moment of "pause" always thinking, flying trying to dodge aa and searching for targets. He is 50+ years old btw. My first suggestion would destroy his "fun" while playing the CV. My second list of suggestions wouldn't but they wouldn't really change the problem that we Unicum CVs will still span tons of influence while players like him would basically be totally overwhelmed by the difficulty given by my suggested nerfs. -

CV strike numbers per game are limited by 20minutes. So if you get a CD between strikes (where you can coordinate fighter planes and plan the next alpha sortie) you automatically limit the possible amount of sorties by time. There is no question about why to limit them, the CD enforces a limit. Yes i forgot to put a "fire prevents sorties". -
I will try watching one of my own replays later and report back to you. You can try sending it regardless whenever you got the time.

then the timer runs out and point advantage wins. The cv managing his strikes correctly comes out on top. You can cap with the hull for point advantage. There are options but it requires more skill on the CV players part. -
Your replays have always worked for me so far so i will gladly watch it. This last point of yours is i guess what you mean by "without scrapping". Yes, changes that would be able to balance it would scrap the original idea and reason why the rework has been made. But if these kind of changes are needed for balance then so be it. It's still a better solution then to isolate or remove the entire class. Do all the changes necessary even if the original idea of the rework gets lost. as long as balance is achieved but saying it's impossible to have CV in fhe game is just lazy by most of the haters.

Actually the aiming is way slower the more AA bubbles you are in during a drop and gets way slower if you try dropping through DFAA already but noone tells you that because how dare we speek about positive effects already in place.

Here is a suggestion that i would bring which is to limit the amount of strikes a CV can have per match. So lets make that number 8 strikes. So the CV can chose to sortie a total of 8 times during 20minutes. CV can either sortie recon and get them to an area he wants intel on for his strike to be even possible or sortie attack planes regardless and use the spotting provided by the own team. The wait time between sorties is 1minute. Recon planes provide spotting only for the CV, stay in a designated area like a consumeable for let's say 2 minutes and allow the attack sortie to strike there. Attack planes don't spot at all. They however attack with an alpha hammer which rewards successful evasion of AA and rewards correct target selection/ management of recon aircraft/team spotting. Fighter planes can be assigned to specific areas only during wait times between sorties. You build your attack wing during wait time (1minute) choosing if you want to use all torp bombers or only a limited number to preserve your reserves. Plane restoration still applies but only to a limited amount of total aircraft making it possible to heavily punish CVs who until the last 10minutes lost only 20 planes and suddenly lose half of the remaining allowing not even their total potential to be able to regenerate in the next 10minutes. Plane controls remain the same as they are now, slingshots will not be possible anymore because you only have one single strike which will for sure go through since you use alot of planes as buffer to survive AA. You still need to aim correctly and that aim needs to be on point to make the limited amounts of strikes possible count. Also make the CV have useable guns to be able to defend itself against DDs otherwise it's completely helpless against them. This solves all your problems right? What it introduces back however is skillgap. Which is even now very present. But it kills the spotting the CV provides. @ApolloF117 I'm happy with the rework, it's not on me to give suggestions for improvement it's on you, another lazy way out of for you huh? No no no. @El2aZeR Just because you learned how to play the Enterprise to it's fullest doesnt mean the whole rework is "objectively" flawed and i don't believe you at all that you are able to kill 2 seattles (unicums) with torps and rockets only. We can test it together and i will stop posting anything in favor of this rework if you manage to kill my seattle while i'm next to a armed bot seattle with torps and rockets only in under 10 minutes. Also pls show me again the "objective" reasons why this current version of the rework can't be tweaked to be balanced.

There are to many people here who choose the lazy option of saying "not able to be balanced". I respect El2aZeRs opinions but i'm very sure that you can balance it. What most of you are forgetting is that just because you all agree each other for the CV rework to be simply flawed that this doesn't mean that nothing can be done because of that agreement. WG will find ways to make it work and they will not tweak it until El2aZeR suddenly can only manage average dmg because he is a super unicum CV inherently flawed my ☆. But continue on circling around while giving no ideas at all on how to improve it all. I so wish btw that they get back to RTS. There was less crying, i don't care for less CVs anyways but i will ☆ up your game regardless of RTS or reworked CVs. You won't be in AA ships 24/7 anymore once again and it will be as easy as it is now if not easier.

@El2aZeR Thanks for your post. I will take the Enterprise into training room and practice killing t8 - 10 AA bots on highest difficulty and report back to you how long it will take me to be able to consistently do so. If i ever manage to consistently kill one lone seattle in 5 minutes i will admit that it's unbalanceable which would be a lie

That's what i like about these people. And it's not like the entire forum is in here discussing with us. It's usually the same, around 10 people who are repeating the same over and over. If the CV rework was so important to the haters, they would give reasonable points and suggestions which could actually be considered for a change. You (anti cv crowd) care about the state of the game? Then stop being lazy and shouting lazy ideas. Stop shouting remove or isolate! Come up with your own ideas how to better the situation without saying lazy things like unbalanceable. How can you possibly think that removing or isolating CVs is the only reasonable thing to do while claiming you care for the game? Caring for the state of the game means to also care about all of it's playerbase. If you don't give a ☆ about the enjoyment of CV players because they "ruin" your game then you are not caring for them, not the game, not it's rules but only for yourself. and before you say "But you as a cV player who ruins others peoples enjoyment also doesn't care right?" No, i care. I play CV because it's fun for me, other players and to provide WG with the data they need to balance them correctly while learning and teaching other players about the reworkes class, how to play and avoid it.

For how long have they been part of WOWS now? Who are some haters to decids what belongs to the game and what doesn't? Mentioning arcade game and reality in the same post is also funny. You guys are repeating yourself again.
