WG isn't wrong. 5 k higher spotting on average is insignificant and it will be even lower, i suspect it will get 10k lower after 8.4 patch. You seem to not understand. The argument of active spotting is the biggest nonsense i ever read. It's passive. But you keep your delusions for however long you want them. At least we know now what WGs views are and that you won't get what you are screaming for, which is isolated spotting or removal of CVs

It is less of an issue as many make it out to be. Another reddit thread gathered data of spotting damage since rework and relevant patches. It's only 5k higher then rts version and with the coming of 8.4 it will get even lower due to slower planes and CD at the start. So spotting actually isn't more of an issue as it was in RTS. Another thing haters are wrong about. BTW me saying "they are pretty confident" wasn't sarcasm. WG knows it better which is not a suprise. I can't wait to recieve all the "bad" and "boring" reactions.

Saying things like the skillgap problem is much better handled now as with the RTS CVs. They are pretty confident. If you check my stats (Midway), basically average dmg vs kills per game and winrate you will find out that i'm one of those who spans influence without farming dmg like a madman. You won't find many who project as much influence as i do with such a low avg dmg. I totally understand that spotting can help. But you need to really know what you are doing as CV and when you are spotting to achieve that. On top of that my avg dmg is slowly rising since i switched to farming BBs instead of a balanced playstyle and what do you know? My winrate is actually going up.

This whole thread is just an experiment to see how these changes will be recieved by the haters. Some think it's still not enough nerfing. Others think i've gone overboard. Just proves how hard it must be for WG.

if you look at the screenshots you will see that it's already proven and measured that dmg farming wins over spotting.

Read what you wrote again, you wrote 20 k dmg

Come on we are better than this. Thiextar isn't having any crusades and i doubt he would fall as low as suggesting t10 CVs to do a max of 20k dmg per game

first screenshot shows the winrate and avg dmg of damage farming CVs. second screenshot shows wr and avg dmg of potatos who either spot or can't play. those are midway stats btw.

But why and what for? Don't you understand? Spotting is not even necessary!!! The CV who flies his recon planes spotting instead of doing dmg will always lose against the dmg farming CV

Making profit is done by selling things that make you happy. To maintain making a profit WG will fix it to maintain happiness.
