You are wishing i was implying something like that ☆ However @NoobySkooby CV play at the moment will just get more taxing on your nerves. @Sub_Octavian Confirmed on reddit that WG is working on fixing AA consistency in the context of AA being to weak in certain situations which means we will get even stronger AA in the future. So CV play will be literally hell since right as it is now you get max 2 attack runs off at t10 if you are lucky. If AA gets even stronger you will get one attack run off while needing to use the rest of your planes as Health sponges to even reach a certain target. Don't bother with CVs to much right now and wait for the balancing to reach a more finished state. You will only be frustrated after every patch if nerf after nerf happens.

I appreciate you making this topic, i wanted to make something similiar but then just gave up hope quickly. It's so hard to have much impact against a working enemy team and so stressful to pöay CV that i simply switched to playing shimakaze xD (stuck rank 5 currently)

Look, you failed finding him, he outplayed you which is something like a miracle? Like, how can you even fail spotting a DD? Your plane detection icon changes from plane spotted to ship spotted if a ship is in the detection circle. You can guess where the DD is supposed to be if no torps arrive from the sides of your ship or front but behind. If no torps ever reach your ship that guarantees the DD to be behind your ship. That decreases the area you need to search by 70% already. HOW CAN YOU FAIL THIS FOR 10 MINUTES

You know what awaits you if you say no right? You get spammed. You hear the voice commands over and over and over and over and over and over. You get called the C word. You get called all the insults. Your stats will be shamed. You will recieve messages full of hate in port. Your karma sinks by -11. But if you say yes and the player dies regardless of you trying to give support or not supporting he will be so stressed out with the overwhelming onslaught he wont even notice you not providing support. I usually throw in a "I'm sorry i really tried >_<" while getting a double strike on the other side of the map.

I explained to you already how to deal with those people. Just say yes in chat and continue doing your thing. Fighters are mostly useless anyways outside of ranked so just ignore the requests

I'm sorry that you feel so terrible about the state of the game.

Did you consider the free cap respec? Possibly more people have specced into bft and mfaa. You can tell if a sector of AA is reinforced by red tracers. Try to switch to the weak AA side ASAP to mitigate AA damage since this will kill you fast. I always approach the bow/ stern, it's easy to get to the weak AA side that way, obviously with torps you just ignore it but definetly go bow/stern with rockets/DBs and check for reinforced AA. You need to adapt to people adapting.

I also don't slingshot. I have my own ways around AA. But this is still way out of norm kind of effort to take. Slingshot will eventually be somehow worked out, i'm sure about it. They will possibly make it so you are immune to flak but not automatic AA dps. But right now, depending on how ranked goes CV could even see a buff knowing WG going by numbers. I seem to perform well but i lose so many planes (as a unicum) CV, the average player will probably be deplaned completely after 10 minutes and WG will nerf AA because of it. It's really a struggle and i have to admit,i'm not having fun anymore. The amount of effort you need to put in to perform well compared to playing DD or BB is just crazy and taxing. Every time i click on Midway in port i instantly think about the stress i will be under if i get into another wooster/salem/mino ranked. It's manageable but terribly painful to play

Let's be honest,without those intact we wouldn't be able to break 100k average without extremly impactless conservative play (except enterprise with ridicolous resto times)

What is this supposed HP nerf to planes? I played 38 battles with midway in ranked, maintaining 61%winrate within full AA meta and only thing i noticed is slower speed. Planes die as calculated. Nothing out od the ordinary?

I had good games with GZ before 8.4. But from what i'm reading about the GZ now i don't think i want to even try another game with it. The speednerf cripples it in theory way to hard already. Noone cares for fast base speed... without the 260 kts it used to havr it will be pretty muvh impossible to drop more then once before all planes die. Why even have a full squadron if you can use only one attack run and then have to wait like 5 minutes to get another full attack run? Imagine hitting one torp per attack run (full squadron)for 3k damage every 5 minutes? Yeah no thank you.

Everyone is salty once in a while. Just turn of the PC for a bit and relax, go to sleep or something. oh and good luck with that attitude
