Thank you but it wasn't my intention to be agressive. My Bow was pointe at the enemy DD that outspotted me and came at me. Since i was a hydro DD i smoked up and opened hydro, set 1/4 speed and prepared to be able to disengage anytime torps are on the way. Meanhwile i of course gunned that DD down. It would have been impossible to spot the cleveland first without being afk at spawn to wait for them to extend a bit since cleveland concealment isnt that high and it's more likely to find a DD on the way. It was just an unfortunate scenario where the radar couldn't be avoided. Yes i could have turned full speed retreat but would you full speed retreat if you catch a DD within hydro range in open water with your teams cruiser close behind? @ghostbuster_ I'm not excusing anything. I gave you my stance already and i won't repeat myself. I know CVs are OP and still are influential. I just can deal with CVs attacking my DD better and if you don't believe that planes are dodgeable then you have to practice that and i'm not saying you are a bad playwr, your disbelief just says that you don't know that certain things are possible.

@El2aZeR Is basically the ultimate villain. His posts include the harsh truth and only facts. He doesn't go overboard with the forum rules and bothers to reply factually even to bs posts. He remains strong no matter what people throw at him and doesn't change his views and stays true to himself. He basically endures onslaught from people he generally dislikes. The ability to use his time up for people here can either mean two things: He loves it all, which would contradict him and is unlikely. He wouldn't be able to do anything better with his time at that mo,ent which is very likely and he wants to see it all burn down! Yes he wants everything to crumble and he enjoys watching the reaction of people who have neither enough experience or clues struggle to defend something! He is the ultimate villain because his preperations to throne over all others go a long way and he showed it right here that he is not to be shaken! Is the doubloon reward for sure? If so i might get the Sirocco then. Now is it guaranteed to get Mogador? Because if not, then getting the fantasque at least is a requirement for me too to be able to get the Kleber faster.

Side bombimg is an RNG fiesta. The amount of times i see the bombs land off the sides of a ship is making me think that the chance of hit is determined before you even attempt the drop LOL. Because it just happens to consistently.

Help pls, i'm about to spend money to get Mogador. So i need another tech line DD out of Boxes or the t5 premium. Should i either Buy the t5 prem DD which ensures enough tokens for the 500 worth bundle since i have a tech tree one for the mission or should i for the same money buy 30 150doubloon worth containers and hope to get the last 2 tech tree DDs? Because as i understand it after the 500 token bundle i need to spend doubloons. So which one? Prem DD or 30 Containers?

An easy to spot CV is a problem not for the CV but for the team who sees it because there are a ton of potatoes who really love to suicide just to get shots at that CV. That's why i don't try spotting an enemy CV if i can help it. Because teammates are kind of special.

You would be suprised how many bad DDs are out there who are easy to hit (Not implying you or anyone specific) and how many CVs there are who actually can't hit me. Yes i agree with you. Sticking to a DD when there is a real chance it'll die is of course the way to go. But i don't get myself into situations where i could die if a CV sticks on me. No i was always a CV main, feel free to check my stats. I'm not claiming to know better then you but i'm sure of my abilities in DDs dodging CV attacks. I finished the ranked season in a 8km torp shima with a good winrate and improved my Shima and gearing winrates since the rework from 50% to 58%. Playing CV myself helped me greatly understand what not to do when against a CV

But you haven't even said anything that would be teaching me something so how am i to learn anything? I have my ways around radar but sometimes it happens to me that a Moskva goes unnoticed. A plane coming my way sets alarms off but it doesn't hurt me if i don't mess up. Just lately i had a game on north where i pushed (A) flank. I got into a fight with a DD, spotted 2 BBs and a cruiser in the meantime but no sight of radar ships. It's an open water spot and i smoked while fighting the DD who was spotted by teammates until he also smoked. Fight was favorable to me and what happens? Suddenly i get radared. It was a Cleveland and that one wasn't behind the big island near the cap but in open water. I didn't know it was there because i couldn't spot it in time. It suprised me and gave the enemy a big advantage because i lost a ton of hp because of it. These situations don't happen with a CV around. I was alive until the game ended and we won but that Cleveland made the first 2 minutes hell didn't die till the end either always being this pushing zone of "do not enter" coming closer to me which i couldn't do crap against (low hp due to being radared earlier). I was in the t7 German premium DD btw.

No, if the CV hits me at all is when i say that he knows kind of how to strike a DD. Then it depends if he sticks on me or not. If he sticks he is terrible.

No i guess i don't have issues with planes and know how to play against them because i'm a CV main. If a CV attacks my DD i see it as a welcome challenge and therefore i'm always prepared and not annoyed about it. It's a personal thing that's why i said that it's my opinion and not a fact that radar is worse.

arent you funny? I said it's my opinion. If you however say things like i shouldn't be in a DD because Radar is more of an issue for me than CV then i get pissed. Because in the last 200 games i did perform well better then you in my DDs and those games had plenty of both in them. Just disagree without unnecessary statements. Because i'm working my [edited]off to find the right playstyle in DDs and i have half the exp you have.

Everything depends on how you played in your DD. Sometimes you cant have terrain to hide from radar. Sometimes you won't be able to see fighter planes above your smoke. In my opinion radar is worse. A CV who dedicates his whole game to spot DDs is a bad CV. And i wpuld rather lose a smoke in a shima and be as annoying as i can to the CV than getting radared in an unaccounted for situation

Yeah. Sure whatever mate. I can obviously spot the moskva while sitting in smoke. Genius. If you think a fighter plane over smoke is an issue then you are simply inexperienced with DD-CV interaction. Or i always get potato CV on the enemy team which i doubt highly.

I was expecting this. Every DD gets radared at one point ir another in the match no matter how good they are and if not then the DD not being radared is out of position. The difference between radar and planes is that planes can't see inside smoke and i can shoot them down. If a CV is stupid enough to waste his time over my smoke i don't care. But about that Moskva that suddenly is in range to radar me which last known position was 18km away.. thats a nasty suprise

Noone respects my DDs when enemy cruiser press their radar button unspotted bejind an island giving me unwanted "DODGE THIS" time! I prefer CV over radar any day any time as a DD >_<
