  1. A good CV player needs to manage the planes carefully to be effective during the match. A superunicum will hardly throw planes left and right and always keeps the right planetype ready for any needy situation that arises. There is a reason why 90% of CV players are potato's.
  2. Asking for them to talk facts instead of feelings will get you only apathy. You calculate with the help of math how any planes are possible to be recovered in a time span of 20minutes. They aren't unlimited. I don't have any sympathy for players who search for excuses. Git gud. Don't blame CV's. Unlimited planes? Don't make me laugh.
  3. So people still believe that planes are unlimited. And people still don't know that planes are replaced by the ones stored inside the Hull being lifted unto the deck via elevator... Never change you cute and wondering players...
  4. Of course I do otherwise I would be accused of getting the wins outside of CV games. What? Are you going to say I'm asking for fighter cover and to be carried? Ayaya I deliberately ask not to cover me most of the time otherwise I wouldn't have such a high planekill average. (Yukikaze has an AA range of 2.5km btw) But yes. I'm as much of an Anomaly when it comes to DD vs CV as is El2a in a CV.
  5. Rocket planes an issue? Yes... They damn sure are. My 77% winrate in Yukikaze would be so much higher if I wouldn't need to waste a smoke every first 2 minutes into the game. And me killing 3 planes on average per game just shows how oppressed I am. I can barely perform well. I would easily reach 90% without CV's for sure but nope. They are just that op.

    It's a matter of preference. On torps like RN and US CV's it's useful since the arming distance is already low and those torps can really use a speedbump. On IJN CV's the arming distance increase is huge which can be tricky to drop torps on targets near islands. The best approach would be to never use this upgrade so that arming distance is as small as possible to be able to ensure easy drops on targets close to islands. Since speed gain on RN and US CV is small and arming distance barely increases its safe to take it for those 2 nation types.

    Sadly that doesn't change much either. When the AA was at its peak it made it more difficult for the avg but CV mains like El2a or me for example had no issues continuing performing as we do now. If however it was increased even further CV's would have to sacrifice all their squad to buff tank to get one strike of on most ships and BBs would be literally untouchable. The CV rework is flawed. Balance is not possibly achieved here by increasing AA further than the highest it has been back then but with the change to Slingshot it at least became slightly more difficult. Now if they find a solution to make rockets harder to aim on DD's then this wouldn't be a problem anymore but WG's intention is for the CVs to be able to strike DD's. This is clear in their decision making so we can't expect them to ever change that.

    And here I am. Sitting on 10 avg plane kills per battle in a Chung Mu, shooting 60+ planes with her in one game and 40+ in another. Casually killing up to 20+ im Shima regularly. But we all know that I:m specialised in shooting planes down even in Shima and a potato CV magnet so the AA only works for me because of this

    Let's just say that when I triumphantly parked my Chung Mu next to a Hakuryo once before blapping it I lost 3/4 of my health in 5 seconds making me panic launch them torps while screaming like a little girl in VC due to shock.

    A Haku if you spec it full secondary build Keks on a Graf Pepelin full secondary build. (don't ask me why I know this)

    Check their AA dps values. If those do not exceed 500 after use of DFAA then don't even try. The best bet you can make is to use MAA. With the exploit shown in the Video I posted you can shoot down 1 plane per sector activation and if the CV really likes you after doing that with the right movements you can Inflict losses for which the CV will on average need at least 6 - 7 minutes of time to recover from. It's highly difficult playstyle however and I wouldn't recommend being ballsy if you don't play CV yourself and know what those are capable of.

    Let's say your AA dps in total is 300. With DFAA it'll be 450. Thats not enough to make a difference. On a ship like Friesland where your AA dps is 560 without and 810 with DFAA it makes a difference. So only in the smallest of cases it actually helps. Against players like El2a or me for example it doesn't do anything if u use it on a Hindenburg or Mogami for example.

    A Yugumo with MAA kills Enterprise rockets and T10 CV rockets with every activation of sector. The other plane types also die with every sector trigger. It's toppu kekku When u combine it with the invisible snipe exploit... Oh boi
