Hello. There are indeed workarounds but those require high skill and knowledge of planespeed, minimap position and pre dodging the resulting flak wall when entering back into camera control in midrange AA.

Put into a ranked match with 10 DDs after 7 seconds in the queue

Hello. This is why we need CV's to be OP. To keep them in check. -
Hello. Thank you for sharing your feelings. I hope you could vent them a little with success. Maybe you will find T10 more enjoyable in the future again.

Hello. What's wrong with the event? All that can be gathered is a chance of getting silver line ship access earlier with the bonus of permanent cammo for free. I don't see any problem with that?

Team Kill penalty for leaving game early - after I was sunk

Hi. What a beautiful day. Is this real? Like. Really? -
Hello. I also dislike the autopilot. It was way better many patches ago. It's so long ago I don't remember anymore but.. The autopilot is workable if you practice enough and usually stay away from making let's call them "tricky" turns around islands or to close to them if you are originally nose in towards them. I'm by now proficient enough with it that I make adjustments even during attack runs, simple pressing M, setting route, pressing M, strike. But it takes around 2k+ CV games since rework to reach that amount of confidence I guess. But yes... The autopilot is kind of bad.

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother
Yosha_AtaIante replied to hgbn_dk's topic in General Discussion
No one is forcing you to spend money. I don't see any issue here. -
Remember that if you end up in mid AA range after slingshot that flak will spawn right in your face. You need to pre avoid it while the camera control is still not on the squadron. You can adjust speed and steer planes without having camera control with the help of the minimap and can determine your location that way. Just before regaining control of your planes steer left or right to dodge the flak that is about to spawn in your face without seeing it.

........ I don't even know how to begin. Have you ever considered that you are doing something wrong?

I will make a Version with that voice for crapposts sake.

If you need that much text to get your points across man then I dont know how to deal with you anymore. Just continue believing whatever. All the training room battles we had took you way to long to kill me. Every time I came close enough to you to severely threaten you. That I completely deplaned your GZ in my Kidd and you only beat me with secondaries you didn't even mention. Both games with the loyang I came way to close for comfort to you. As for randoms. You know that I if spotted usually never am in a situation where the enemy team devstrikes me. Otherwise my numbers would look much different won't they. You are doing so many "what if" descriptions is exactly why discussing this with you is pointless. Who in their right mind would allow themselves to be spotted in the enemy teams gun range every time the CV makes a pass for example? You are just reinforcing the whole team dependency of the CV with most of your points. I don't even know where to begin talking about your struggles in DD's. You don't play that class well but have all these ideas about how the interaction works.. I'm here racking in game after game of successful plays with the occasional misplay due to errors made by myself not outstanding choices by enemy CV. I always dictate how the engagement with the enemy CV begins and mostly ends if I don't have errors on my part. All I can say is wait for my guide to be finished. There will be evidence in form of videos with commentary and I will not cherry pick the best games but the ones where I do the least amount of misplays and then ones were I misplay to show both sides. It will be a big guide. Not that it matters to you anyways. No matter how detailed I will make it you will find ways to argue against it. Also your picture of the average DD is quite bad. The avg DD player is not exactly a potato as them being around 50%+ is not in orange or red yet suggesting growth potential. Players have already adapted quite well for a single year. They will adapt even more there is no doubt about it. It will get increasingly more difficult for CV players.

Same reason as why we don't have IJN DD Shigure. One of the most popular ships of the IJN.

You forget that in training room you have room to only focus on me. And I didn't even use smoke. In random battles there are so many things you need to keep track of as CV and I am able to use smoke. Have teammates putting AA pressure which can be situational and you might have to divert your attention for other priorities severely increasing the amount of counterplay availible. Don't forget that I nearly killed your Kaga with my Yukikaze in the training room and even Loyang. Both not noteworthy of being good choices against CVs without using smoke. Even if more players get better in CV's. The DD's if they reach near my level of DD to CV interaction will still enjoy severe advantages of being very annoying and attention demanding. Where El2a or me would usually kill that DD in the first 3 minutes like we do now... We will likely see the first kill after 7 or 10 minutes depending on if the DD executes maneuvers correctly. If you can't kill a DD not using smoke on training room under 5 minutes then you will never kill one using smoke and counterplay options in randoms under 5. The longer you take to kill one DD the more time the other unoccupied DD's will have to influence the match. Keep that in mind.

Radar is the worst thing that can happen to you in a CV game. The CV will know where you are now. Will see you. Will be able to prepare perfect lineups... Radar ruins games.

Fun and engaging tier III play (thanks to CV)
Yosha_AtaIante replied to Eviscerador's topic in General Discussion
Not possible. You can misinterpret or twist the scenarios I write down around to your likings and we will be stuck in endless "if this or that however" I have alt accounts I played on with solo stats that prove that those DD's are playable with the right approach and BBs are so easy to play even a newbie can understand it with the right explanation. If he doesn't understand English (is he German by chance) then I can't help until I have written down a large and covering comprehensive guide which you can then translate for him. -
I disagree with you. We can't really disprove each other without meeting each other in battle either so I guess unfortunately we need to agree to disagree here.

No its not that easy. I would have helped him in voice chat but writing it down is very hard to understand especially for a new player. -
I need to check this after work LOL

Fun and engaging tier III play (thanks to CV)
Yosha_AtaIante replied to Eviscerador's topic in General Discussion
Excuse me but I believe you surely warned your friend about the low tier situation and kind of painted a hellish picture even before all that happend. You could have prepared him better telling him how to not get singled out in such games and how to react better to CV's. Why didn't you take advantage and teach him? -
The Problem with these suggestions is that you need to really explain it in detail. Why the CV does what he does. Where he is going to search. What options he as to find the DD. How he might react to a smoke. What to keep on mind while in smoke. When to move away and when to move towards planes. How long to keep AA on after being spotted. How to use sector correctly and when. What planetypes are safe to engage with AA on, are enemy teammates able to shoot you? It needs a very in depth explanation and guide since it changes so much about how DD's are usually played. No, the CV can only assume how the DD will work. You have many options as DD player given the MM you are getting. If the CV on questions finds other DD's first you have other options. It all depends on the movement the CV player makes and he can never know how well the DD player is versed in the interaction. If I assume the DD is knowledgeable I would miss all the potato's who go straight for cap that's why I never assume the enemy DD knows Counterplay at first for example. A DD who knows how to react to a CV will always have the upper hand because he will see the planes coming and can dictate where he will be spotted most times if it doesn't happen by chance. This is a huge advantage for the DD player. It's about mind games. A very detailed guide is required. It is easier to teach players who play CV themselves.
-
Show me the people who make these recommendations and let's see what kind of things are being said there. I haven't made a comprehensive or detailed guide myself and so far coached players only in VC who all have better success against CVs since then. That again :) Obviously I will have an easier time punishing DD's who will follow my guide since I will be able to expect their movements. I have yet to be punished however for using these techniques against other CV players. It's like taking a risk in a street fighter game. Block and receive a throw or punch and be punished by a counter?

Yeah like that 64% Gearingthat didn't smoke, didn't disable AA after my first spotting pass and lost 18k health in the first 2 minutes by playing like a potat against my CV. There is a difference between being a good DD player and being good in CV games. It requires a whole different approach than what usually works but you forgot to mention that. Do you think my confidence comes out or nowhere? You should know how persistant and ready I am to accept challenges by now.
