Seattle is a tier9 cruiser of the US light cruiser line. As all other t9 ships in all of the nations tech trees it is the last step before reaching t10. Seattle is in the game to fill that spot.

They are so broken that any clan without the best CV players has an enormous disadvantage because CVs are so broken. That's why they changed their name. It kills opportunities for the rest. I agree with you. It makes sense the way you describe it. But if you for example made Hayate stronger as she is currently then she would likely fall under the OP category and selling OP usually is not okay. So it's difficult right? To make a ship expensive and balanced is always difficult. Many ask "why buy for such a price?" And the thing is that it's not required at all to get her. The fact that Hayate isn't op helps in the decision not to buy and that leaves only the players interested in her like me for example to get her. We who got her are mostly praising her since she matched our expectations. For me personally she was worth the 2m free XP.

I played French DDs but not German. German DDs are good however. They require more skill to play well however since they lack in gun and torpedo alpha. The hydro and its usage around radar is is hard to implement into your game play especially if inexperienced. French DDs I have played and I played Kleber in CBs a bit too. They are a great line but with CVs around its extremely difficult to succeed. They are also not played like typical DDs would be so not at all indicative of DD playstyles.they are the most unique to play next to Russian gunboat DDs. On Lexington as a beginner you should use Tits for QoL but if you want to improve under hard conditions you should use HVAR since they will teach you how to correctly approach DDs. Tits are easier to use and give better success initially but learning HVAR translates to all other CVs.

Just play what you are interested in and not if the line is noobfriendly or whatever. A look at wiki also helps. If you look there you will find out that us DD line has terrible concealment until Benson and crap torps. Pick your line yourself out of interest and nothing else.

Dude who cares about your KOTS discord? Do you really think the greatest of players and the best talents need to be a part of that to be credible? Also you should by now have realized that if we approach more skilled individuals we also find less and less of them. An absolute minority that will never be seen as a voice more powerful than the avg potato. You think just because these clanmembers play high end compete give that they are worth and weighting in more towards WG decision making than the rest? Also you might think to highly of some of these clans CV players. Since naming and shaming is not allowed I will not adress clans or the individual players names here. They are good don't get me wrong. One does not easily reach 70% (actually im joking 70% is a must to be considered good) You are better of asking your own clans CV player how these things work before trying to speak about these things with bare ideas.

All DDs are viable. You just have to put time into learning how to play them. None of them will be easy on pickup. The best DDs are the ones you are most comfortable with. You don't attack blobs if not necessary and if necessary you try to attack the ships that are on the outer edges of blobs. To predict enemy DD movements you have to play DD yourself to understand what they are capable of or play enough CV until you memorize their most common movement patterns. The rest is up to experience and interpretation. There are no tricks that will help you get success instantly.

That's not the case. I'm keeping this topic alive. I provoke people to give better and better reasoning why CVs are broken and I fuel the discussion. You want to block me because you don't like opposition. I am doing these 1on1s so often I know how things work in there inside out. Hayate has to many drawbacks to sustain herself against skilled CV players sadly. If you don't smoke against the likes of El2a or me for example you are doomed. 3.1 air detect guarantee an easy run in even if hayate is bow on. It's not the best choice against CVs and the AA takes around 12 or more seconds to kill enterprise fighter planes. It's not good enough sadly.

The guns are so good though. My first kraken in Hayate happened in ranked with a double kill too. Torps killed one target guns the other Hayate is just amazing. But I did some testing in training room yesterday against a very strong CV player and hayate doesn't do well one on one. Drawbacks are big turning circle, bad mediocre ruddershift. The planes can outturn hayate and you can't minimize the angle given which makes rockets hit much easier for high damage. A Shima can survive up to 9minutes against that player without smoke usage and hayate only manages 8 at best. That's a huge difference because hayate also has 3k more hp than shimakaze.

No I was poking fun at it. As you can see in the list TTT alone has 3 God level CV players. The problem is there simply aren't many and skill gap is real. Skill gap is likely one of the reasons why they complain. ONE of the other reasons so I believe is however that these clans I believe don't like the idea of other clans reaching up high with the help of great CV players.

Yees I saw you. Lost that match. One gun on my hayate was permanently disabled after first 3min q_q gg. I play it with smoke as the risk of running into good CV players is to high and hayate isn't the most mobile against them. Also AA doesn't regenerate

Exactly. They (other clans) can't get advantages because those and a few others are the only super unicums worth a dime. The only clan not up there yet that holds crazy CV players not up there yet is PARAZ and THESO hasn't reached hurricane yet either. PANEU has a promising candidate and that's it. And this is the list of current top performing CV players in high tiers. If you don't have any of the top 20 in that list you are pretty much in trouble.

:D I wonder who these names would be. There are only so few memorable ones but you are right. There are a few exceptional CV players around together with a few rising talents here and there. Are you bored or something?

Yes truly pitiful isn't it? Many clans were late recruiting the best of the best and are now shafted by not having strong enough CV players to field as no-one expected CVS to enter CB even though it was obvious. Now they want them gone of course. As they are feeling the pain of being beaten by clans that never felt the privilege of getting close to hurricane. This is the difference it makes having a CV player who knows their crap. By removing the class outright they remove the problem of having the scrap that was left on the market of CV players instead of the better end of the stick. That's just a theory however :D As I see it CBs improved by having CVS as it ended to boring stationary campfest of last season
