Why do we even need more CV topics. They all repeat the same crap over and over. There is nothing new. And it won't make the devs work faster either. I'm not defending CVs. just saying that it's become so stale to talk about them there is no better place than the CV megathread. Because every angry little rant from enraged user xyz is the same thing. The rework is fundamentally flawed. We have come to this conclusion over and over and yet CVs are staying, going to stay and not being removed no matter if you post in the megathread or create 50topics per week. To close a topic is just a simple click for a mod. not an inconvenience at all. So pretending spamming those topics helps you in any way is a bit desperate

There is no detailed explanation needed for someone with your understanding. There are 2 games CV players play. One is the squadron control and the other is the map control game. What he is doing to influence the match isn't just simply going around shitting on everything (which he also is doing but not really as much as he could) but he makes sure that the enemy team has the least amount of map presence possible to allow his team to occupy those space that are left open. He kills DDs that reach to far or DDs that currently hold a highly influential position. Add to that his strikes being overly well executed and the enemy teams moral quickly sinks to the bottom as they see their teammates getting picked apart one by one. After the amount of battles he can present he simply mastered target selection and punishing mispositioning of the enemy ships. Since there is no real interaction between the enemy ships and his planes anyway and all games feel similar for CV players due to that he probably has memorized all possible moves an enemy ship could do against his planes and El2a has an answer or counter for that.

That Damage will Drop to about 5-8k. Which is still Massive Damage against DDs see? ^^ And if the Target is Properly☆Angled or Bow in the Damage is 0-2k because RNG can be a total BoW sometimes Mate. ^^ 36: STOP THIS TAKES TO LONG THERE IS STILL TO MUCH TEXT. I can't tell you why they wouldn't. What their motivation behind it is. My suspicion is that they want to avoid encouraging purchases by showing their droprates so they have more streamlined opportunities to sell further, later events. I actually believe that their goal in most lootbox events isn't to sell as much as possible in every single event but to give the opportunity for more dedicated customers who don't care about droprates to spend their money first and let the ones who are actually interested in different upcoming releases have the money ready for those. Showing the droprates might encourage more spending which could lead to dry wallets and that means they need to slow down the rapid release of new "content" in form of ships (which is the main target of the customers) to let the wallets recover in time for the next event. If a customer sees a nation or shiprelease they would really like to spend their money on like in this events case "Enterprise" but due to release of droprates customers got encouraged to spend their money to early on a previous event it drops the potential earning. Rapid release of new content additionally attracts new players or new wallets to open themselves. I believe that players who truly care about a certain nation or ship will buy lootboxes wether or not the droprates are shown. So they cash in there. And then they also cash in on the ones who spend without care while continuing the rapid releasw of new content which attracts new wallets and more spending. Even if players feel reluctant to spend because of unknown rates they might still spend a little bit of money to achieve those last few tokens that are missing. This won't empty their wallet, making it ready for the next event while still cashing in slightly. Predatory? yes. But it works and that's why they do it.

And this is where you are wrong as in so many other things. The most popular gacha games actually show you the chances of drops or pulls. So yeah. Not so much running away as more of a motivation not to feed ignorance with information that will be discarded factual or not.

The market doesn't care much less so do the customers as long as the price is deemed right. it only makes sense if you get something out if it. Is it worth it trying for CVs that can be safely purchased? I don't think so. But with enterprise and her rarity I think it is worth it. Since Enty is owned already however I personally wouldn't go for the containers.
