U know... So that you get a CV battle every 3rd match in high tiers as even there they seem to be getting rare.

Well, I haven't been chatbanned at least for a year for example. Because I adjusted the type of words I use. My Karma is still stable however. If I stopped chatting all together however I would probably have 1k or more karma by now already. I usually lose it only when I trash talk.

Not really. Obviously I see the issues of the rework. But at the same time I have been part of the discussion about CVs and their rework since the start of it and we already discussed and got answered why DFAA will not have a panic effect. All that is being done is bring up old already discussed topics because no new ideas are sprouting. The objective is to find ways to balance CVs while keeping their population healthy and the current average performance of CVs in similar levels. Why is all of that so shitty you ask? Because WG and it will be because of WG until they change it. And as long as WG gives players like me the tools to make you feel miserable about CVs I will use them for exactly that and to the best of my ability so that they maybe see issues and change them to an acceptable form without killing the class. I currently know of an exploit that makes flak for certain CVs absolutely insignificant aka you can literally fly straight through DFAA flak and take 0 damage. Still debating with myself if I tell WG about it or not. I already got rid of another exploit which allowed the sniping of planes with DD AA without said DD being detected and this exploit even though they found a workaround to patch it STILL WORKS under sharper conditions. But why should I help with getting rid of those? If I got rid of flak ignore exploit it will make CV avg damage sink and let them appear to be even weaker and WG might buff them :D All because glorious rework.

If you focused the energy you put into telling me that I suck on thinking about the flawed state of the CV rework you would equally be wasting your time. But the idea to make DFAA strikes near impossible to hit will make avg dmg of CVs go down which isn't what WG aims for, will make the popularity of the class go even further down the drain which WG also doesn't want. Maybe make suggestions on how to fix the absolutely useless fighters instead? Because as a CV player you basically see everything. You see great plays, you see misplay, you see great positioning and absolutely bad positioning. The CV having one eye on the minimap for the whole game might have something to do with that too. If you pick up great plays of other surface ship players all you need to do is remember them. Aiming is a different story. But it gives a great basis to get a great idea of how to play surface ships.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that some of them have thousands of battles more in their preferred class than in the others? Wouldn't be to hard to go purple on the other 3 either tbh but why should I care, they don't generate the same amount of salt.

If I was able to influence WG in any way I would play my t5 Zuiho in RTS CVs. But since they took that from me I will make sure to not care about the enjoyment of others. You want to be immune to CVs? Quit the game it's a Form of immunity. Until then, I will use and abuse the hell out of CVs in the way WG implements and changes them and I will enjoy doing so especially with people like you around protesting it.

No.. I'm busy overly looking at my forum profile Pic after I changed it. But before that I looked at you and you scared me
-
I guess my clan which is 5th on EU is full of monkeys then
-
I wonder why I don't get reported :/
-
He broke the rules and got yeeted.
-
Maybe u would have more if u played it better :0
-
And this never ever happend in any of the CB games I played so far. Tells me a lot about your wild theories.
-
You can blindfire yes. Good luck consistently hitting that ship 18km away in a petro. You should have more important targets and leave that disengaging ship to the CV.
-
Single strike? If that happens to a player then he SEVERLY misplayed and deserves to just die.
-
You shouldn't be able to stop that strike without usage of fighter planes. In my opinion fighter planes need to be made useful enough to be able to stop a first strike.
-
And then you can completely ignore flak via exploits anyway because rework is glorious. Yes Cyclone makes it so teammates can't shoot further than 14km.A ship low enough for the CV to kill it that is disengaging only needs to dodge the CV since the teammates can't finish him. Any player worth their salt needing to disengage due to their HP should already be far away from danger sources and crossfires while healing up. The CV mostly needs to deal with those outside his teammates gun ranges. But you should probably just continue spinning your ridiculous "CV can kill any target anywhere" narrative. Just don't forget to mention that the CV in fact can't and it's his teammates enabling that ability Guess what happens when CV doesn't have those teammates :D
-
And we are back to rework is flawed discussion.
-
Simple. You don't stop the strike at all. Every strike is dodgeable if maneuvered correctly and if the surface ship player is incapable its his misplay. I'm up to prove that claim in training room any time.
-
Even then you take full AA damage in that duration literally paying planes to find out dfaa is active. you lose match time, planes that need time to regenerate and if you come back later the other petro will activate his dfaa making you completely useless as you pay again with planes and your time. He knows this and it's for that reason why he makes that proposal. The CV population is already lower than they wished for reaching RTS low, this change would kill CVs, he knows it. It's just another badly thought out topic which in reality isn't badly thought out but aimed at people will little understanding about how CVs work to agree with him.
-
So I was right after all. Your motive isn't to improve the consumable.
-
I have to already work hard enough as it is in CBs. Being reduced to "fly there and spot" is the last thing I need.
-
who cares about randoms? Also can we not give potats immunity from above with a one button press please? It's not only a waste of time (I only get 20min per match) to recall that squadron because of his AA, he might at that moment be the only valuable target and who is to say the next target I want to strike doesn't have dfaa ready too wasting my time again? total nonsense. Might aswell just suggest deleting CVs again. Same thing
-
You know very well that if that panic effect is pressed at the last second on for example torp bombers while you are in attack animation already you won't be able to adjust for the torp spread in time anymore and completely miss? Also rockets on full dispersion can be pretty much called a wasted strike. Don't even want to talk about max spread DB drops. In CBs you can pretty much ensure total immunity by communicating dfaa usage this way.
-
No, simply because with activation you will make the CV player miss everything and ensure immunity to the ship using the consumable. You would have to rebalance the CD time and action time of DFAA. I'm old RTS DFAA panic effect was fine as with multiple squads and angle adjustments you could still force a somewhat effective drop. Since you are limited to just one squadron and more difficult to predict torp drop patterns you won't be able to get any reliable hits in anymore. The new DFAA panic effect could be activated at the last few seconds before the drop happens to remove "baiting" of DFAA. A CV player at your skill should know this and I assume your motive isnt really to help the consumable but to make CVs unusable.

Well population is already low. Losing more would be even worse right? :D
